‘Test the spirits....’ False Christs and prophets....

Test the spirits whether they are of God.... When you accept spiritual knowledge it is very important to seriously examine its origin.... You should and need to scrutinise it because you are responsible for your soul yourselves, which can only benefit from the truth but whose higher development is endangered by misguided spiritual information. If you are offered spiritual concepts, i.e. knowledge which cannot be earthly verified, you need to subject it to serious investigation. You should know that light and darkness fight each other, that the prince of darkness fights against pure truth, that he will try anything to lead people into wrong thinking and not even shy away from shrouding himself in the garment of an angel in order to deceive people....

But you can expose him yourselves, you can test which spirit conveys spiritual knowledge to you. And the criteria you should consider with serious examination are: that the conveyed mental information proclaims Jesus Christ as Son of God and Redeemer of the world, that its message consists of His doctrine of love and that you are reminded to follow Jesus.... Then you may unconditionally accept it and address God Himself as the source of knowledge conveyed to you, then you may endorse it as divine truth. You need not fear to be pushed into misguided thinking by the spirit of darkness, for he will never acknowledge Jesus Christ, Who has delivered the world from sin.

False Christs and false prophets will arise, and particularly during the last days before the end.... They will speak the name of Jesus Christ with their mouth and yet they will not be true messengers of His divine teaching of love, because they themselves will not do as they preach or their teachings are of a worldly nature, they will not be recognisable as true Christians. And this verbal confession is frequently a disguise which hides the enemy of truth. They will not truly believe in Jesus’ Words, which He spoke on earth, in his promises, for they lack love, the sign of a true follower of Jesus....

Consequently their words will be without spirit, they will be without strength, they cannot be considered as purely divine truth and need also be seriously scrutinised. But you can make this test anytime if you, in the sincere desire for truth, ask God Himself for His help to enlighten your spirit, to guide your thoughts right and to teach you to always differentiate between truth and error, and everyone who desires the spirit of God will receive it....

"Test the Spirits...." Falso Cristo e Profetas....

Teste os espíritos, se são de Deus.... É necessária uma crítica séria se receber conhecimento espiritual onde esse conhecimento espiritual tem origem.... Deveríeis e deveis examiná-lo, pois vós próprios sois responsáveis pela vossa alma, que só beneficia da verdade mas cujo desenvolvimento ascendente está ameaçado por um conhecimento mental errado. Se lhe é oferecido conhecimento espiritual, isto é, conhecimento que não pode ser provado na terra, deve submetê-lo a um sério escrutínio, deve saber que a luz e as trevas lutam umas contra as outras, que o príncipe das trevas luta contra a verdade pura, que tenta tudo para levar as pessoas a pensar erradamente e não se furta a vestir-se de anjo para enganar as pessoas.... Mas vós próprios podeis desmascará-lo, podeis verificar qual o espírito que vos guia o pensamento material, e estas são as características que deveis observar durante um exame sério: que Jesus Cristo é proclamado como Filho de Deus e Redentor do mundo através do pensamento material que recebeis, que o Seu ensinamento de amor é o seu conteúdo e que sois admoestados a seguir Jesus.... Então poderá absolutamente aceitar e dirigir-se ao próprio Deus como a fonte do conhecimento que lhe foi transmitido, então poderá representá-lo como verdade divina, não precisa de temer ser empurrado para o pensamento errado pelo espírito das trevas, pois nunca reconhecerá Jesus Cristo que redimiu o mundo do pecado. Falsos Cristos e falsos profetas surgirão, e especialmente nos últimos dias antes do fim.... Falarão o nome de Jesus Cristo e no entanto não serão verdadeiros proclamadores do Seu divino ensinamento de amor, pois eles próprios não observarão o que ensinam ou julgarão mundanos os seus ensinamentos, não serão reconhecíveis como verdadeiros cristãos. E esta confissão com a boca é frequentemente um manto sob o qual o inimigo da verdade se esconde. Eles próprios não terão verdadeira fé nas palavras de Jesus 19 que Ele falou na terra, nas Suas promessas, pois lhes falta amor, a característica de um verdadeiro seguidor de Jesus. E por isso as suas palavras carecerão de espírito, ficarão sem força, não poderão ser abordadas como pura verdade divina e também exigem um exame sério. No entanto, pode fazer este teste em qualquer altura se, no seu profundo desejo de verdade, pedir a Deus a Sua ajuda para iluminar o seu espírito, para guiar correctamente o seu pensamento e para distinguir sempre a verdade do erro, e qualquer pessoa que deseje o espírito de Deus receberá...._>Ámen
