Measures against love work....

The world will make demands on you which you will never be able to fulfil if you respect God's commandments. You should indeed be subject to the worldly authorities, yet if you are openly demanded to act against His divine will, that you thus disregard the commandment of neighbourly love and sin through unkind actions, then you should acknowledge God alone as your authority so that you will not let your soul perish for the sake of earthly advantage. And therefore you should firmly memorize God's will, you should know why you have to fulfil it and what consequences you will receive if you act against His will. You should know how extremely necessary the activity of love on earth is and that only love alone can redeem you.... furthermore, you should know how unstable earthly goods are and what an unfavourable exchange you enter into if you sacrifice your salvation for the sake of these goods. You will be hard pressed and it will not be easy to resist the world's demands, yet you will be able to do so as soon as you appeal to God for strength and join God the more the world wants to separate you from Him. For this alone is the purpose of its plans and measures, that the christian teaching of love is eliminated and thus God Himself is alienated from people, Who can only be found through love. People know nothing of the power of love or they would try to acquire it. They only know self-love and seek to increase their possessions at the expense of their neighbour. And thus they pay no attention to the commandment of neighbourly love, and they demand the same from fellow human beings instead of inspiring them to love. And they will severely harass people who make God's commandments their guiding principle because the latter are not in harmony with the commandments of the worldly authorities. And then they shall seriously examine to what extent the will of God is recognizable in the requirements of the worldly authorities.... What is harmful to the neighbour must never be done if it can be avoided, i.e. if the person is not incapable of defending himself through coercive measures. And the body should take suffering and tribulation upon itself if it can thereby avert a sinful act. For his soul will thank him one day by assisting him in his later upward development. Moreover, the body's adversity is not long-lasting, but the soul will have to atone in the beyond if it does not observe the commandment of neighbourly love on earth and, for the sake of earthly advantage, submits to the world's desire which demands unkindness from people. For if this rules, then the devil rules people and you must not submit to him. You must resist him even if you are severely harassed and have to fear for your physical life, for by doing so you will save your soul from destruction and through your example also that of your fellow human beings if you practice love, even if the world wants to prevent you from doing so....

Maßnahmen gegen Liebeswirken....

Forderungen wird die Welt an euch stellen, die ihr nimmermehr erfüllen könnt, so ihr Gottes Gebote achtet. Ihr sollt zwar der weltlichen Obrigkeit untertan sein, doch so offen von euch verlangt wird, daß ihr Seinem göttlichen Willen entgegenhandelt, daß ihr also das Gebot der Nächstenliebe unbeachtet lasset und sündiget durch liebloses Handeln, dann sollt ihr Gott allein als eure Obrigkeit anerkennen, auf daß ihr eure Seele nicht um irdischen Vorteils willen verlorengehen lasset. Und darum sollet ihr euch den Willen Gottes fest einprägen, ihr sollt wissen, warum ihr ihn erfüllen müsset und welche Folgen euch ein Handeln wider Seinen Willen einträgt. Ihr sollt wissen, wie überaus nötig das Liebeswirken auf Erden ist und daß nur die Liebe allein euch erlösen kann.... ihr sollt ferner wissen, wie unbeständig irdische Güter sind und welch unvorteilhaften Tausch ihr eingehet, so ihr um dieser Güter willen euer Seelenheil hingebet. Ihr werdet arg bedrängt werden, und es wird nicht leicht sein, den Anforderungen der Welt Widerstand zu leisten, doch ihr werdet es können, sowie ihr Gott um Kraft bittet und euch desto mehr Gott anschließet, je mehr die Welt euch von Ihm trennen will. Denn dies allein bezwecket sie mit ihren Plänen und Maßnahmen, daß die christliche Liebelehre ausgeschaltet und somit Gott Selbst den Menschen entfremdet wird, Der nur durch die Liebe gefunden werden kann. Die Menschen wissen nichts von der Kraft der Liebe, ansonsten sie versuchen würden, diese zu erwerben. Sie kennen nur die Eigenliebe, und sie suchen ihren Besitz zu vermehren auf Kosten des Nächsten. Und also achten sie kein Gebot der Nächstenliebe, und sie fordern das gleiche von den Mitmenschen, anstatt sie zur Liebe anzuregen. Und sie werden die Menschen hart bedrängen, die sich die Gebote Gottes zur Richtschnur machen, weil letztere nicht im Einklang stehen mit den Geboten der weltlichen Obrigkeit. Und dann sollen sie ernstlich prüfen, wieweit der Wille Gottes erkennbar ist in den Anforderungen der weltlichen Obrigkeit.... Was dem Nächsten zum Schaden gereichet, darf nimmermehr ausgeführt werden, so es zu umgehen ist, d.h., soweit der Mensch nicht durch Zwangsmaßnahmen unfähig ist, sich zu wehren. Und der Körper soll Leid und Drangsal auf sich nehmen, so er dadurch eine sündige Handlung abwenden kann. Denn seine Seele wird es ihm dereinst danken, indem sie ihm beisteht in seiner späteren Aufwärtsentwicklung. Zudem ist die Not des Körpers nicht von langer Dauer, die Seele aber muß im Jenseits büßen, so sie auf Erden das Gebot der Nächstenliebe nicht beachtet und um irdischen Vorteils willen sich fügt in das Verlangen der Welt, die Lieblosigkeit fordert von den Menschen. Denn so diese herrschet, dann regieret der Teufel die Menschen, und diesem dürfet ihr euch nicht unterwerfen. Ihr müsset ihm Widerstand entgegensetzen, selbst wenn ihr stark bedrängt werdet und für euer leibliches Leben fürchten müsset, denn ihr rettet dadurch eure Seele vor dem Untergang und durch euer Beispiel auch die eurer Mitmenschen, so ihr die Liebe übet, auch wenn die Welt euch daran hindern will....
