Time of trouble and tribulation for believers too....

The more lively faith is, the more intimate the connection with God will be and the more noticeable the supply of strength will be that allows people to endure everything that is imposed on them. For the coming time will make great demands on all people and the believers, too, will have to pray earnestly for strength. And it will come upon them like a storm which threatens to overthrow them, and only intimate contact with God will allow them to stand firm. Yet the adversity is never greater than the one Who sends it, Who is also always willing to help if He is faithfully called upon for assistance. Yet for the sake of the whole of humanity the coming adversity is inevitable and understandably the believers will not remain unaffected by it either, only they can reduce it themselves through faithful prayer. People are driving themselves towards the climax, they will stop at nothing if it brings destruction to the one they regard as their enemy, and thereby they plunge themselves into great guilt which cannot be atoned for in any other way than that they themselves have to suffer from what they want to inflict on others. And that is why the adversity will affect everyone, for there are guilty people everywhere, even if there are believers in their midst who now also have to take the heavy fate upon themselves. Their faith will strengthen them and the more lively it is, the easier it will be to bear the hardship. And they will also be able to influence their fellow human beings and lead some of them back to faith in God. For this is why God sends the adversity, so that it will still have an educational effect on the few who can still be saved. And that is why the great coming adversity is a mercy before the end, it is still a means to win souls who become thoughtful through the heavy pressure, through tribulation and misery and seriously seek to change. The living faith of fellow human beings should help them onto the right path, it should also help them to believe and allow them to come into contact with God.... And the believers should always bear in mind that they are needed in this time of need, that God does not call them beforehand in order to have living witnesses on earth in them who stand up for Him and His teachings, who are obvious evidence of God's power flowing from a deep faith and who are to speak and work on earth instead of Him among those who are far from God. Only people can act as mediators on earth, only people can receive and pass on the word of God, because God Himself cannot obviously express Himself in order not to endanger freedom of faith and will. And these must be people who are able to believe in a living way themselves and who do not allow themselves to be depressed by suffering and tribulation but always provide the unbelievers with the proof that the strength of faith flows through them and makes them resistant to all earthly tribulations. They must take the adversity of the times on their shoulders, they must arm themselves with the strength that comes to them from fervent prayer to God. They must always and constantly be ready to serve God as a willing instrument when and where He deems it good, and they must therefore humbly take everything upon themselves and patiently wait for the help of the one Who has assured them of His support, Who will not leave them in adversity if they faithfully trust Him....

믿는 사람들에게도 필요한 고난과 환난의 시간.

믿음이 살아있을 수록 하나님과의 관계가 더 긴밀해지고, 그럴수록 또한 사람이 자신에게 부과된 모든 것을 견딜 수 있게 하는 힘의 공급이 눈에 띄게 증가하게 된다. 왜냐면 다가오는 때가 모든 사람에게 큰 요구를 하고, 믿는 사람들도 긴밀하게 힘을 구해야만 하기 때문이다. 사람들이 쓰러지도록 위협하는 일이 폭풍처럼 그들에게 임할 것이고, 단지 하나님과의 긴밀한 접촉이 그들이 견딜 수 있게 할 것이다. 그러나 절대로 고난이 고난을 보낸 분보다 크게 되지 않을 것이다. 고난을 보낸 분은 또한 자신에게 믿음으로 도움을 구할 때 항상 도울 준비가 되어 있다. 그러나 인류 전체를 위해 다가오는 고난은 피하게 해줄 수 없다. 당연히 신자들도 다가오는 고난에 영향을 받지 않게 되지 않을 것이고, 그들이 단지 믿음의 기도를 통해 스스로 고난의 영향을 줄일 수 있다.

사람들은 절정을 향해 움직이고 있다. 사람들이 적으로 간주하는 것을 파괴하는 일을 전혀 주저하지 않는다. 이로써 그들은 큰 죄에 빠지게 되고, 그들이 남에게 행하기 원하는 일로 자신이 고통을 당해야만 하는 방법 외에는 달리 속죄할 방법이 없다. 그러므로 모든 사람에게 고통이 임할 것이다. 왜냐면 어려운 운명을 이제 짊어져야만 하는 사람들 가운데 비록 신자들이 있을지라도, 모든 곳에 죄인들이 있기 때문이다. 믿음이 그들을 강하게 할 것이고, 믿음에 생명력이 있을수록 고난을 더 쉽게 견딜 수 있게 될 것이다. 그들은 또한 이웃 사람에게 영향을 미칠 수 있게 될 것이고, 그들 중 일부를 다시 하나님을 믿는 믿음으로 돌이킬 수 있게 될 것이다.

그러므로 하나님이 고난을 보내, 그들이 아직 구원할 수 있는 소수의 사람들에게 양육하는 역사를 행하게 한다. 그러므로 종말 전에 다가오는 큰 환난은 은혜이고, 환란을 통해, 고난과 비참함을 통해 생각하게 되고, 진지하게 자신을 변화시키기 위해 추구하는 혼을 얻기 위한 수단이다. 그런 사람들에게 이웃 사람의 생명력 있는 믿음이 올바른 길을 가도록 도움이 돼야 하고, 그들이 믿음을 갖고, 하나님과 접촉할 수 있도록 도와야 한다.

신자들은 항상 이런 고난의 때에 자신들이 필요하게 된다는 사실을 명심해야 하고, 하나님이 자신과 자신의 가르침을 지지하는, 깊은 믿음에서 나오는 하나님의 힘을 생명력이 있게 증거하고, 하나님 대신에 이 땅에서 하나님으로부터 멀어진 자들에게 말하고 역사하는 증인을 이 땅에 두기 위해 그들을 미리 불러드리지 않는다는 사실을 항상 명심해야 한다. 단지 사람이 이 땅에서 중계자로 일할 수 있고, 단지 사람이 하나님의 말씀을 받아 전할 수 있다. 왜냐면 하나님이 믿음의 자유와 의지의 자유를 위태롭게 하지 않기 위해 자신을 분명하게 표현할 수 없기 때문이다.

그들 자신이 생명력이 있게 믿을 수 있어야만 하고, 고난과 환난 속에서도 짓눌리지 않고, 불신자들에게 항상 믿음의 힘이 그들에게 충만하고, 세상의 모든 환란에 저항할 수 있게 한다는 증거를 제공해야 한다. 그들은 시대의 고난을 어깨에 짊어져야만 하고, 하나님께 드리는 긴밀한 기도를 통해 자라나는 힘으로 무장해야만 한다. 그들은 항상 끊임없이 하나님을 도구로써 하나님이 좋게 여기는 때와 장소에서 자원하여 섬길 준비가 되어 있어야만 한다. 그러므로 그들은 자원하여 모든 일을 받아드려야만 하고, 모든 인내로 그들에게 자신의 도움을 보장하고, 믿음으로 그분을 신뢰한다면, 그들을 위험 가운데 놔두지 않는 분의 도움을 기다려야만 한다._>아멘
