Time of trouble and tribulation for believers too....

The more lively faith is, the more intimate the connection with God will be and the more noticeable the supply of strength will be that allows people to endure everything that is imposed on them. For the coming time will make great demands on all people and the believers, too, will have to pray earnestly for strength. And it will come upon them like a storm which threatens to overthrow them, and only intimate contact with God will allow them to stand firm. Yet the adversity is never greater than the one Who sends it, Who is also always willing to help if He is faithfully called upon for assistance. Yet for the sake of the whole of humanity the coming adversity is inevitable and understandably the believers will not remain unaffected by it either, only they can reduce it themselves through faithful prayer. People are driving themselves towards the climax, they will stop at nothing if it brings destruction to the one they regard as their enemy, and thereby they plunge themselves into great guilt which cannot be atoned for in any other way than that they themselves have to suffer from what they want to inflict on others. And that is why the adversity will affect everyone, for there are guilty people everywhere, even if there are believers in their midst who now also have to take the heavy fate upon themselves. Their faith will strengthen them and the more lively it is, the easier it will be to bear the hardship. And they will also be able to influence their fellow human beings and lead some of them back to faith in God. For this is why God sends the adversity, so that it will still have an educational effect on the few who can still be saved. And that is why the great coming adversity is a mercy before the end, it is still a means to win souls who become thoughtful through the heavy pressure, through tribulation and misery and seriously seek to change. The living faith of fellow human beings should help them onto the right path, it should also help them to believe and allow them to come into contact with God.... And the believers should always bear in mind that they are needed in this time of need, that God does not call them beforehand in order to have living witnesses on earth in them who stand up for Him and His teachings, who are obvious evidence of God's power flowing from a deep faith and who are to speak and work on earth instead of Him among those who are far from God. Only people can act as mediators on earth, only people can receive and pass on the word of God, because God Himself cannot obviously express Himself in order not to endanger freedom of faith and will. And these must be people who are able to believe in a living way themselves and who do not allow themselves to be depressed by suffering and tribulation but always provide the unbelievers with the proof that the strength of faith flows through them and makes them resistant to all earthly tribulations. They must take the adversity of the times on their shoulders, they must arm themselves with the strength that comes to them from fervent prayer to God. They must always and constantly be ready to serve God as a willing instrument when and where He deems it good, and they must therefore humbly take everything upon themselves and patiently wait for the help of the one Who has assured them of His support, Who will not leave them in adversity if they faithfully trust Him....

Zeit der Not und Trübsal auch für die Gläubigen....

Je lebendiger der Glaube ist, desto inniger wird die Verbindung sein mit Gott und desto merklicher auch die Kraftzufuhr, die den Menschen alles ertragen läßt, was ihm auferlegt ist. Denn die kommende Zeit wird große Anforderungen stellen an alle Menschen, und auch die Gläubigen werden innig um Kraft bitten müssen. Und es wird wie ein Sturm kommen über sie, der sie umzureißen droht, und nur die innige Fühlungnahme mit Gott lässet sie standhalten. Doch niemals ist die Not größer als Der, Der sie sendet, Der auch immer bereit ist, zu helfen, so Er gläubig um Beistand angerufen wird. Doch um der gesamten Menschheit willen ist die kommende Not unabwendbar, und verständlicherweise werden auch die Gläubigen nicht unberührt bleiben davon, nur können sie selbst sich diese verringern durch das gläubige Gebet. Es treiben die Menschen dem Höhepunkt entgegen, sie schrecken vor nichts zurück, so es dem Vernichtung bringt, den sie als Feind betrachten, und sie stürzen sich dadurch in große Schuld, die nicht anders gesühnt werden kann, als daß sie selbst unter dem leiden müssen, was sie dem anderen zufügen wollen. Und darum wird die Not alle treffen, denn überall sind Schuldige, wenn auch mitten unter ihnen Gläubige weilen, die nun das schwere Los auch auf sich nehmen müssen. Der Glaube wird sie stärken, und je lebendiger dieser ist, desto leichter tragbar wird die Not sein. Und sie werden auch vermögen, auf den Mitmenschen einzuwirken und manche von ihnen zum Glauben an Gott zurückzuführen. Denn darum sendet Gott die Not, daß sie sich noch erzieherisch auswirke an den wenigen, die noch zu retten sind. Und darum ist die große kommende Not eine Gnade vor dem Ende, sie ist noch ein Mittel zur Gewinnung der Seelen, die durch den schweren Druck, durch Trübsal und Elend nachdenklich werden und sich ernsthaft zu wandeln suchen. Denen soll der lebendige Glaube des Mitmenschen auf den rechten Weg helfen, er soll auch ihnen zum Glauben verhelfen und ihn Fühlung nehmen lassen mit Gott.... Und das sollen sich die Gläubigen stets vorhalten, daß sie benötigt werden in dieser Notzeit, daß Gott sie nicht vorher abruft, um in ihnen lebendige Zeugen auf Erden zu haben, die für Ihn und Seine Lehren eintreten, die offensichtliche Beweise sind für die einem tiefen Glauben entströmende Kraft Gottes und die statt Seiner reden und wirken sollen auf Erden unter denen, die Gott fernstehen. Nur Menschen können als Mittler auf Erden wirken, nur Menschen können das Wort Gottes empfangen und weiterleiten, weil Gott Selbst Sich nicht offensichtlich äußern kann, um die Glaubens- und Willensfreiheit nicht zu gefährden. Und es müssen dies Menschen sein, die selbst lebendig zu glauben vermögen und die auch durch Leid und Trübsal sich nicht niederdrücken lassen, sondern immer den Ungläubigen den Beweis liefern, daß die Kraft des Glaubens sie durchströmt und sie widerstandsfähig macht gegen alle irdische Drangsal. Sie müssen die Not der Zeit mit auf ihre Schultern nehmen, sie müssen sich wappnen mit der Kraft, die ihnen aus innigem Gebet zu Gott erwächst. Sie müssen stets und ständig bereit sein, als williges Werkzeug Gott zu dienen, wann und wo Er es für gut hält, und sie müssen deshalb alles ergeben auf sich nehmen und voller Geduld harren der Hilfe Dessen, Der ihnen Seinen Beistand zugesichert hat, Der sie nicht in der Not lässet, so sie Ihm gläubig vertrauen....
