Food for the soul.... spiritual food....
Purely spiritual food is the nourishment of the soul, which can only be offered to you from above. It is a favour from God, which man cannot measure, for He gives man something undeserved, as it were. He gives him loving means for the soul's higher development, He makes everything available to him through which the human being can attain perfection. He pours out divine grace upon the earthly child in the most abundant measure in order to make the path upwards passable for him, and thus He instructs people. And this instruction is the bread of heaven, spiritual nourishment for the soul. Man also needs nourishment to maintain his body, and this is always and constantly imparted to him through God's goodness. But the nourishment the soul needs is of a different kind. The soul can only be considered spiritually because it is the union of spiritual potencies, which are therefore of spiritual origin. These soul potencies must now be supplied with something which is supernatural, which is taken from the spiritual kingdom and can only be perceived by the soul with the spiritual eye. And so the soul is now fed with a nourishment that contributes to the increase of the spiritual, the soul is spiritualized as it were, which was previously turned towards the earthly. For if the soul is only given earthly sustenance it starves and suffers terribly from its meagerness. However, if it is offered spiritual nourishment, its condition is freer.... (interruption)

La Nourriture de l'âme - la Nourriture spirituelle
La Nourriture purement spirituelle est la Nourriture de l'âme qui peut lui être offerte seulement d'en haut. C’est une Grâce de Dieu que l'homme ne peut pas mesurer, parce qu'Il donne aux hommes quelque chose d'immérité. Il leur donne des moyens affectueux pour le développement vers le Haut de l'âme, Il met à disposition de l’homme tout ce qu’il faut pour qu’il puisse arriver à la perfection. Il verse dans une très riche mesure la Grâce divine sur le fils terrestre, pour lui rendre praticable la voie vers le Haut, et ainsi Il instruit les hommes. Et cette Instruction est le Pain du Ciel, la Nourriture spirituelle pour l'âme. L'homme a besoin de nourriture pour la conservation du corps, et celle-ci lui est transmise toujours et continuellement par la Bonté de Dieu. Mais la Nourriture dont l'âme a besoin, est d'un autre genre. L'âme peut être pourvue seulement spirituellement, parce qu'elle est justement l'union de puissances spirituelles qui donc sont d'origine spirituelle. À ces constituants de l'âme doivent être maintenant apporté quelque chose qui est extra-terrestre, qui est issu du Règne spirituel et est perceptible seulement avec l'œil spirituel pour l'âme. Et ainsi l'âme est maintenant nourrie avec une Nourriture qui contribue à l'augmentation du spirituel, l'âme qui, auparavant, était tournée vers le terrestre est pour ainsi dire spiritualisée. Parce que si l'âme est pourvue seulement d’une manière terrestre, elle languit et souffre terriblement de sa pauvreté. Mais par contre s'il lui est offert une Nourriture spirituelle, son état est plus libre.
