Divine gift proof of love.... entering into the will of God....

In a quiet hour of contemplation you will realize that all earthly desire is an obstacle to a deep and intimate union with God. And once you have regocnized this, all danger is over. Only he who can give everything will receive everything. The grace of being allowed to receive the divine word is incomparably more valuable than the fulfilment of earthly longing, and therefore anyone who indulges in earthly wishes and desires loses unspeakable graces. However, only covetous love is an obstacle to ascent, so this should be fought with all our strength.

It is of extraordinary importance to establish contact with the heavenly father, and for this the will is required first, it must turn to Him completely, it must express itself in a way that visibly reveals the desire for God. The human being's will will always be the only thing required by God. Divine love constantly endeavours to reveal itself to the human being in such a way that the human being consciously strives for this love, i.e. desires to be seized by it. And this desire is the subordination of the will to the divine will. For a desire for union with God is, as it were, awakened in the human being, which is the reason for the reorganization of his previous way of life. For he who has previously walked without God has acted according to his own will, which was therefore turned away from Him. But to have regocnized God means entering into the divine will, a complete submission to everything God demands of him, and it also means an unquestioning abandonment of the previous way of life. It is therefore only understandable that the human will must first declare itself willing to submit itself to the divine will before God now announces His will.... It is understandable that the human being's will has to be surrendered time and again in order to be able to receive this proclamation of His will; it is understandable that every earthly desire weakens the will striving towards God and thus the desire for His word also diminishes; and it is understandable that everything has to be fought against which could diminish the strength to receive. For divine gift is more precious than anything the world can offer. Divine gift harbours the love of God, and is there anything more beautiful than being allowed to receive the proof of divine love? The heart's longing is likewise satisfied, only in such a way that the body does not feel it so pleasantly, but the soul is extremely delighted by every connection with God's love. And thus the human being should remember his soul and grant it the great happiness of divine love, but not pay attention to the body and its desires, instead he should unreservedly integrate himself into God's will in order to be able to receive divine expressions of will. The love which prompts God to His fatherly care for His children should be desired in the deepest heart, for to be allowed to stand in this love is the most beautiful thing a person can desire on earth. His heart should beat towards the father in heaven, the child should long for the father, then it will also happily receive the outpouring of His love.... the divine word, which establishes the most intimate connection with Him and is therefore the visible evidence of His love. Can anything more delicious ever be offered to you than that the heavenly father Himself leans towards you and desires to speak to you?.... And if He obviously offers you His love, it only requires your will to receive this love. You may only want that your thinking is guided by Him, and from now on you will only fulfil His will, carry His will within you and also use your earthly life in accordance with the divine will....

Göttliche Gabe Beweis der Liebe.... Eingehen in den Willen Gottes....

Es wird in einer stillen Stunde der Einkehr dir bewußt werden, daß alles irdische Verlangen ein Hindernis ist zur tiefen innigen Verbindung mit Gott. Und so du dieses erkannt hast, ist jede Gefahr vorüber. Nur wer alles hingeben kann, wird alles empfangen. Die Gnade, das göttliche Wort empfangen zu dürfen, ist unvergleichlich wertvoller als die Erfüllung irdischen Sehnens, und also geht unsäglicher Gnaden verlustig, wer sich irdischen Wünschen und Begierden hingibt. Es ist jedoch nur die begehrliche Liebe ein Hindernis zur Höhe, also soll diese bekämpft werden mit aller Kraft.

Es ist von außerordentlicher Bedeutung, den Kontakt herzustellen mit dem himmlischen Vater, und dazu ist der Wille zuerst erforderlich, er muß sich voll und ganz Ihm zuwenden, er muß sich in einer Weise äußern, die sichtlich das Verlangen nach Gott verrät. Der Wille des Menschen wird immer das einzige sein, was von Gott gefordert wird. Die göttliche Liebe ist unentwegt bemüht, dem Menschen sich so zu erkennen zu geben, daß der Mensch diese Liebe bewußt anstrebt, d.h., von ihr erfaßt zu werden begehrt. Und dieses Begehren ist Unterstellen des Willens unter den göttlichen Willen. Denn es wird gleichsam ein Verlangen nach Zusammenschluß mit Gott im Menschen rege, der Anlaß ist zur Umgestaltung seines bisherigen Lebenswandels. Denn wer zuvor ohne Gott gewandelt ist, der hat gehandelt nach eigenem Willen, der also von Ihm abgewandt war. Gott erkannt zu haben aber bedeutet ein Eingehen in den göttlichen Willen, ein Sich-völlig-Fügen in alles, was Gott von ihm verlangt, und es bedeutet ferner ein unbedenkliches Aufgeben des bisherigen Lebenswandels. Es ist nun sonach nur verständlich, daß sich der menschliche Wille zuerst bereit erklären muß, sich dem göttlichen Willen zu unterstellen, bevor Gott nun Seinen Willen kundgibt.... Es ist verständlich, daß immer wieder der Wille des Menschen hingegeben werden muß, um diese Kundgabe Seines Willens entgegennehmen zu können; es ist verständlich, daß jedes irdische Verlangen den Gott entgegenstrebenden Willen schwächt und also nun auch das Verlangen nach Seinem Wort geringer wird; und es ist verständlich, daß alles bekämpft werden muß, was die Kraft zum Entgegennehmen schmälern könnte. Denn göttliche Gabe ist kostbarer als alles, was die Welt bieten kann. Göttliche Gabe birgt die Liebe Gottes in sich, und gibt es etwas Schöneres, als den Beweis göttlicher Liebe empfangen zu dürfen? Es wird das Verlangen des Herzens gleichfalls gestillt, nur in einer Weise, daß es der Körper nicht so wohltuend empfindet, jedoch die Seele überaus beglückt ist von jeglicher Verbindung mit der Liebe Gottes. Und also soll der Mensch seiner Seele gedenken und ihr das große Glück göttlicher Liebe zuteil werden lassen, den Körper aber und sein Verlangen nicht beachten, sondern sich schrankenlos in den Willen Gottes einfügen, um göttliche Willensäußerungen entgegennehmen zu können. Die Liebe, die Gott zu Seiner väterlichen Fürsorge Seinen Kindern gegenüber veranlaßt, soll begehrt werden im tiefsten Herzen, denn in dieser Liebe stehen zu dürfen ist das Schönste, was der Mensch begehren kann auf Erden. Sein Herz soll dem Vater im Himmel entgegenschlagen, es soll sich das Kind sehnen nach dem Vater, dann wird es auch beglückt in Empfang nehmen den Ausfluß Seiner Liebe.... das göttliche Wort, das die innigste Verbindung herstellt mit Ihm und also der sichtbare Beweis Seiner Liebe ist. Kann euch je Köstlicheres geboten werden, als daß der himmlische Vater Selbst Sich euch zuneigt und mit euch zu reden begehrt?.... Und so Er euch offensichtlich Seine Liebe anträgt, bedarf es nur eures Willens, diese Seine Liebe in Empfang zu nehmen. Ihr dürfet nur wollen, daß euer Denken von Ihm geleitet sei, und ihr werdet fortan nur Seinen Willen erfüllen, Seinen Willen in euch tragen und dem göttlichen Willen entsprechend auch euer Erdenleben nützen....
