Consciously turning to God is passed test of will....
The turning point of every individual person's life has come when the person consciously turns to God, when he inwardly acknowledges him and enters into contact with Him.... when he prays to Him in living faith. Then the soul will have consciously started on the path of return to Him and can also, with certainty, reach its goal on earth of entering the kingdom of the beyond redeemed of its past guilt. Hence the human being must merely consciously turn to God and not just carry out certain formalities or customs or want to prove his faith in God with empty words. For God only evaluates that which arises from the human heart, neither words nor gestures can deceive Him.... However, a prayer in spirit and in truth will definitely reach Him, and then he will take care of the one who deliberately seeks contact with Him.... The conscious bond with God is therefore the spiritual turning point in the life of the individual, and the sooner it happens the more successful it will be; nevertheless, it signifies that the human being has passed the test of will he is expected to take during his earthly existence. Prior to this his life is a waste of time, for the soul does not gain anything while the human being still lives without God. And as long as a person does not have a living faith he still lives without God, for the academic knowledge about God conveyed to people is not a living faith as yet.... Only his conscious surrender to God proves his faith, and from that hour onwards the soul starts to live, that is, its thoughts, feelings and inclinations take place on a spiritual level, the bond with God has been established and He Himself takes care of the soul because it had found Him of its own free will. And again it must be stressed that only love is able to achieve this.... that the thoughts of a person who lives in love will take the right path, the path towards the Eternal Love, for love strives towards love. In other words: the Eternal Love draws a lovingly active human being close to Itself. And his faith will indeed come alive, the person's thoughts will turn to the One Who had created him.... Who will take hold of him and never let him fall again, because his free will became active, for both love as well as faith prove that the will is inclined towards God and therefore they also prove the passed test of will on account of which the human being lives on earth....

Bewußtes Hinwenden zu Gott ist bestandene Willensprobe....
Der Wendepunkt im Leben eines jeden einzelnen ist gekommen, wenn der Mensch sich bewußt zu Gott hinwendet, wenn er Ihn innerlich anerkennt und mit Ihm in Verbindung tritt.... wenn er betet im lebendigen Glauben an Ihn. Dann hat die Seele den Weg der Rückkehr zu Ihm bewußt angetreten, und dann kann sie auch mit Sicherheit ihr Ziel erreichen auf Erden, daß sie erlöst von ihrer einstigen Schuld in das jenseitige Reich eingehen kann. Der Mensch muß sich also nur bewußt Gott zuwenden, nicht nur gewisse Formeln oder Gebräuche verrichten oder durch leere Worte den Glauben an Gott beweisen wollen. Denn Gott wertet nur, was im Herzen des Menschen ersteht, Ihn täuschen weder Worte noch Gebärden.... Aber ein Gebet im Geist und in der Wahrheit erreicht Ihn sicher, und dann nimmt Er Sich auch dessen an, der bewußt die Bindung mit Ihm sucht.... Die bewußte Bindung zu Gott also ist auch die geistige Wende im Leben des einzelnen, die desto erfolgreicher ist, je eher sie eintritt; aber sie bedeutet das Bestehen der Willensprobe, die dem Menschen für sein Erdendasein gestellt ist. Vorher ist sein Leben ein Leerlauf, denn die Seele gewinnt nichts in der Zeit, wo der Mensch noch ohne Gott lebt. Und ohne Ihn lebt der Mensch, solange er noch keinen lebendigen Glauben besitzt, denn ein schulmäßiges Wissen um Gott, das den Menschen zugeführt wird, ist noch kein lebendiger Glaube.... Erst die bewußte Hingabe an Gott beweiset seinen Glauben, und von der Stunde an lebt auch die Seele auf, d.h., ihr Denken, Fühlen und Wollen bewegt sich nun auf geistiger Ebene, die Bindung mit Gott ist hergestellt, und Er Selbst nimmt Sich nun auch der Seele an, weil sie im freien Willen zu Ihm gefunden hat. Und wieder muß betont werden, daß nur die Liebe solches zuwege bringt.... daß die Gedanken eines Menschen, der in der Liebe lebt, den rechten Weg nehmen, den Weg zur Ewigen Liebe, denn Liebe drängt zur Liebe, oder auch: Die Ewige Liebe zieht den Menschen zu Sich, der selbst Liebe übt. Und in diesem wird auch der Glaube lebendig, das Denken des Menschen wendet sich Dem zu, Der ihn erschaffen hat.... (31.12.1960) Der ihn nun ergreift und nicht mehr zurückfallen lässet, weil dessen freier Wille tätig wurde, denn sowohl die Liebe als auch der Glaube beweisen den zu Gott gerichteten Willen, und sie beweisen somit auch die bestandene Willensprobe, zwecks derer der Mensch auf Erden lebt....
