The ability to hear God's voice.... Conditions....
You are only able to hear the voice of the spirit if all your thoughts and intentions apply to Me alone, if you thus completely detach your thoughts from the earthly world. This does not imply that you should not perform your earthly duties or totally withdraw into solitude. For this does not correspond to My will, but in the midst of the bustle of the world you should look for the opportunity, and you will indeed find it, where your soul disassociates itself from the world, where you can briefly detach yourselves from all earthly thoughts, hence where your soul lifts itself into spheres which are unrelated to Earth, where I Am the focal point of your thoughts, feelings and inclinations, where it looks for and wishes to speak to Me. Everyone can establish such short contacts with Me if he wants to, he can even turn his thoughts towards Me for a few minutes during his earthly work, and I will pay attention to every thought and impart My Word to him; and if a person mentally remains for a longer time in My kingdom, if he takes the time to hold an inner conversation with Me and pays attention to the thoughts flowing to him as a reply, he will develop the ability to hear My voice, and it will soon sound to him like a gentle but clearly pronounced Word in his heart. You all can develop this ability within yourselves; however, it requires complete detachment from the world.... Nothing externally must affect the human being if he clearly wants to hear the voice inside. For this reason it also takes considerable strength of will to withdraw from the outer world and not to allow any part of this world take effect upon oneself.... I must be desired and be able to completely permeate his heart, otherwise I cannot be present to him and he will not be able to hear Me either. No-one can serve two masters.... When I speak everything else must be silent, and anyone who shall possess My love, which manifests itself in the Word, must also grant Me his love and willingly detach himself from all worldly matters, for My gift is precious and must also be appropriately appreciated ....

La facoltà di percepire la Voce di Dio – Le condizioni
Voi potete sentire la Voce dello Spirito solamente, quando il vostro pensare e tendere è solamente per Me, quindi i vostri pensieri sono totalmente distolti dal mondo terreno. Con ciò non vuol essere detto che non dovreste adempiere i vostri obblighi terreni oppure vi dovreste ritirare totalmente nella solitudine, perché questo non corrisponde alla Mia Volontà, ma in mezzo al turbinio del mondo dovete trovare l’occasione e la troverete anche, quando la vostra anima si separa dal mondo, quando potete entrare in voi, quando vi liberate per breve tempo da ogni pensiero terreno, quando la vostra anima si lancia in sfere che non hanno nulla a che fare con la Terra, quando Io Sono il Centro del vostro pensare, sentire e volere, quando cercate Me e desiderate parlare con Me. Ogni uomo può stabilire tali brevi contatti con Me, se soltanto lo vuole, persino durante il lavoro terreno può utilizzare i suoi pensieri per pochi minuti ed Io baderò ad ogni pensiero e lo ricompenserò con la Mia Parola, e quando l’uomo si sofferma più a lungo nel Mio Regno, quando si prende il tempo di tenere con Me l’intimo dialogo e bada ai pensieri che gli giungono come Risposta, avrà la capacità di sentire la Mia Voce, di formarla in sé e presto gli suonerà nel cuore una Parola sommessa, ma pronunciata chiaramente. Voi tutti potete educarvi a questa facoltà, ma per questo ci vuole un totale distacco dal mondo. Nulla deve avvicinarsi dall’esterno all’uomo, se vuole sentire chiaramente la Voce nell’interiore. Per questo ci vuole anche una grande forza di volontà, di staccarsi dal mondo esterno e non lasciar agire nulla su di sé di ciò che è parte di questo mondo. Devo essere desiderato e poter occupare totalmente il suo cuore, altrimenti non posso essergli presente ed egli non Mi sente. Nessuno può servire due padroni. Quando parlo Io, tutto il resto deve tacere ed a chi deve appartenere il Mio Amore, che si manifesta nella Parola, deve donare anche a Me il suo amore e staccarsi volonterosamente da tutto ciò che è mondano, perché il Mio Dono è prezioso e deve anche essere degnato rispettivamente.
