Fulfilment of the commandment of love demanded of all....

I have given you a commandment that you should love one another, and if you keep this commandment you fulfil My will. But I have not made your maturity of soul dependent on the fulfilment of earthly commandments, which, however, is clearly taught to people. But it is far better to disregard such humanly decreed commandments than to obey them without remembering My commandment of love, for I don't value the former even though they are scrupulously obeyed. It is of such great importance that people are enlightened as to what My will consists of and what is pleasing in My sight. For they have long since ceased to have a standard for this, and they do not recognize their spiritual shortcomings. Therefore it is advisable to comply with My commandment with all diligence and perseverance, to make My will their own and now work on themselves so that My love can permeate them and they will only accept My will.

(23.5.1947) The more the human being makes My will the guideline for his way of life the more he conforms to My nature, whereas the fulfilment of humanly issued commandments does not result in a change of his nature. But My will is to fulfil the commandment of neighbourly love, by which he also testifies to his love for Me at the same time. And this neighbourly love should always and constantly be practiced.... A person can shape himself into love, he can be so permeated by love for his neighbour that it will cause him to be constantly active, that it will therefore be the driving force of his thinking, speaking and acting. Then he will also be an example to his fellow human beings, he will not only exemplify to them the right life on earth which is pleasing to Me but the effect of his life of love will also be recognizable.... He will be filled by My spirit, that is, he will receive truthful knowledge from Me and be able to pass it on to his fellow human beings. But the effect of active neighbourly love is at the same time evidence of increasing maturity of soul and also proof of the significance of fulfilling My commandment of love. People do not take My commandment seriously enough, and yet it is the most important thing of their earthly existence, for their whole life in eternity depends on its fulfilment. So what is more understandable than that I gave this commandment to My disciples with the instruction to go into the world and teach all nations, to enlighten them about the effect of a life of love and the bad consequences of unkindness, so that they could reach maturity of soul while still on earth? I Myself preached love on earth, I Myself exemplified a life of love to them, and I Myself demonstrated to them the wisdom and miraculous power I attained through love.... And I admonished all who took it seriously to follow Me.... Yet people do not comply with it, yet with fanatical zeal they observe what people have added to My commandment of love but which has not the slightest connection with unselfish neighbourly love. And they consider My commandments unworkable.... and thereby prove to themselves that they don't believe in the truth of My word, in My wisdom and My love, otherwise they would have to accept and also obey every word from My mouth without doubt. What I demand of people must always and forever also be feasible and able to be accepted by all people. And only free will can prevent them from practicing the unselfish neighbourly love I demand. And therefore the human being should first inform himself of My will, he should make it his own, thus give up his own will and completely merge into My will, but then he will also be able to carry it out, and that in every situation of life, because My commandment is not only given to individual people but to everyone, to the whole of humanity, which lives far away from love and is therefore also in greatest ignorance, because knowledge is only the result of a life of love which I have made a commandment to those who want to ascend and stand in brightest light....

L’adempimento del Comandamento dell’amore viene preteso da tutti

Vi ho dato un Comandamento che dovete amarvi l’un l’altro e se osservate questo Comandamento, adempite la Mia Volontà. Ma non ho reso dipendente la maturità della vostra anima dall’adempimento di comandamenti rilasciati umanamente, cosa che però viene precisamente insegnato agli uomini. Ma ora è molto meglio lasciar inosservati tali comandamenti rilasciati da uomini che eseguirli, senza pensare al Mio Comandamento dell’amore, perché non valuto il primo, benché vengano eseguiti con assoluta precisione. Questo è di grande importanza, che agli uomini venga dato il chiarimento sul fatto in che cosa consiste la Mia Volontà e che cosa è compiacente davanti ai Miei Occhi. Perché per questo già da molto tempo non hanno più nessuna misura e non conoscono il loro ammanco in fatto spirituale. Perciò è consigliabile eseguire con tutto il fervore e perseveranza questo Mio Comandamento, rendersi propria la Mia Volontà ed ora anche di lavorare affinché il Mio Amore possa penetrare ed ora lasci valere solo ancora la Mia Volontà. (23.05.1947) Più l’uomo fa della Mia Volontà la linea di conduzione del suo cammino di vita, più si adegua al Mio Essere, mentre l’esaudimento di comandamenti rilasciati umanamente non ha nessuna conseguenza come cambiamento del suo essere. Ma la Mia Volontà è di adempiere il Comandamento dell’amore per il prossimo, con cui testimonia anche contemporaneamente il suo amore per Me. E questo amore per il prossimo dev’essere esercitato sempre e costantemente. Un uomo può formare sé stesso nell’amore, può essere compenetrato dall’amore per il prossimo, perché questo lo induce al costante agire, quindi è la forza di spinta del suo pensare, parlare ed agire. Allora sarà anche un esempio per i prossimi, non vivrà solo d’esempio per loro la vera vita sulla Terra, compiacente a Me, ma sarà anche riconoscibile l’effetto della sua vita d’amore. Sarà colmato dal Mio Spirito, cioè riceverà da Me il sapere secondo la Verità e lo potrà portare oltre ai suoi prossimi. Ma l’effetto del fattivo amore per il prossimo è contemporaneamente una dimostrazione della crescente maturità dell’anima ed anche una conferma per l’importanza dell’esaudimento del Mio Comandamento dell’amore. Gli uomini non prendono abbastanza sul serio il Mio Comandamento, e malgrado ciò è la cosa più importante della loro esistenza terrena, perché dal suo adempimento dipende tutta la Vita nell’Eternità. Che cosa è quindi più comprensibile, che Io ho dato questo Comandamento ai Miei discepoli con l’incarico di andare nel mondo e di istruire tutti i popoli, di chiarire loro l’effetto di una vita nell’amore e le gravi conseguenze dell’assenza d’amore, affinché potessero giungere alla maturità dell’anima ancora sulla Terra? Io Stesso ho predicato sulla Terra l’amore, Io Stesso ho vissuto d’esempio per loro una vita nell’amore, ed Io Stesso ho dimostrato loro a quale Sapienza e Forza di Miracolo Sono giunto attraverso l’amore. Ed ho ammonito tutti che la prendessero sul serio per la successione. Ma gli uomini non se ne curano, ma osservano con fervore fanatico ciò che degli uomini hanno aggiunto al Mio Comandamento dell’amore, cosa che però non ha nulla a che fare con l’amore disinteressato per il prossimo. E considerano il Mio Comandamento come ineseguibile e con ciò si danno la conferma di non credere nella Verità della Mia Parola, nella Mia Sapienza e nel Mio Amore, altrimenti dovrebbero accettare senza dubbio ogni Parola dalla Mia Bocca ed anche seguirla. Quello che esigo Io dagli uomini deve anche essere sempre ed eternamente eseguibile e poter essere accettato da tutti gli uomini. Solo la libera volontà li può impedire all’esercizio dell’amore disinteressato per il prossimo preteso da Me. E perciò l’uomo deve dapprima informarsi sulla Mia Volontà, la deve fare sua propria, quindi rinunciare alla propria volontà e sorgere totalmente nella Mia Volontà, ma allora la potrà anche eseguire e questo in ogni situazione della vita, perché il Mio Comandamento non è dato per un singolo uomo, ma per tutti, per l’intera umanità che vive alla giornata lontano dall’amore e perciò è anche nella più grande ignoranza, perché la conoscenza soltanto è la conseguenza di una vita nell’amore, che Io dato come Comandamento a coloro che vogliono salire in Alto e stare nella Luce più chiara.
