Fulfilment of the commandment of love demanded of all....

I have given you a commandment that you should love one another, and if you keep this commandment you fulfil My will. But I have not made your maturity of soul dependent on the fulfilment of earthly commandments, which, however, is clearly taught to people. But it is far better to disregard such humanly decreed commandments than to obey them without remembering My commandment of love, for I don't value the former even though they are scrupulously obeyed. It is of such great importance that people are enlightened as to what My will consists of and what is pleasing in My sight. For they have long since ceased to have a standard for this, and they do not recognize their spiritual shortcomings. Therefore it is advisable to comply with My commandment with all diligence and perseverance, to make My will their own and now work on themselves so that My love can permeate them and they will only accept My will.

(23.5.1947) The more the human being makes My will the guideline for his way of life the more he conforms to My nature, whereas the fulfilment of humanly issued commandments does not result in a change of his nature. But My will is to fulfil the commandment of neighbourly love, by which he also testifies to his love for Me at the same time. And this neighbourly love should always and constantly be practiced.... A person can shape himself into love, he can be so permeated by love for his neighbour that it will cause him to be constantly active, that it will therefore be the driving force of his thinking, speaking and acting. Then he will also be an example to his fellow human beings, he will not only exemplify to them the right life on earth which is pleasing to Me but the effect of his life of love will also be recognizable.... He will be filled by My spirit, that is, he will receive truthful knowledge from Me and be able to pass it on to his fellow human beings. But the effect of active neighbourly love is at the same time evidence of increasing maturity of soul and also proof of the significance of fulfilling My commandment of love. People do not take My commandment seriously enough, and yet it is the most important thing of their earthly existence, for their whole life in eternity depends on its fulfilment. So what is more understandable than that I gave this commandment to My disciples with the instruction to go into the world and teach all nations, to enlighten them about the effect of a life of love and the bad consequences of unkindness, so that they could reach maturity of soul while still on earth? I Myself preached love on earth, I Myself exemplified a life of love to them, and I Myself demonstrated to them the wisdom and miraculous power I attained through love.... And I admonished all who took it seriously to follow Me.... Yet people do not comply with it, yet with fanatical zeal they observe what people have added to My commandment of love but which has not the slightest connection with unselfish neighbourly love. And they consider My commandments unworkable.... and thereby prove to themselves that they don't believe in the truth of My word, in My wisdom and My love, otherwise they would have to accept and also obey every word from My mouth without doubt. What I demand of people must always and forever also be feasible and able to be accepted by all people. And only free will can prevent them from practicing the unselfish neighbourly love I demand. And therefore the human being should first inform himself of My will, he should make it his own, thus give up his own will and completely merge into My will, but then he will also be able to carry it out, and that in every situation of life, because My commandment is not only given to individual people but to everyone, to the whole of humanity, which lives far away from love and is therefore also in greatest ignorance, because knowledge is only the result of a life of love which I have made a commandment to those who want to ascend and stand in brightest light....

ISPUNJAVANJE ZAPOVIJEDI LJUBAVI ZAHTIJEVA SE OD SVIH....

Dao sam vam jednu zapovijed, da se međusobno trebate ljubiti, i ako se držite te zapovijedi, ispunjavate Moju volju. No zrelost vaše duše nisam učinio ovisnom o ispunjavanju zemaljski donešenih zapovijedi kao što se ljude očito naučava. E sad, daleko je bolje, tê od ljudi donešene zapovijedi zanemarivati, nego ih slijediti bez da se na Moje zapovijedi Ljubavi obraća pažnja, jer ove ranije Ja ne uzimam u obzir, pa čak i ako ih se najstriktnije slijedi.

Od tako je velike važnosti da se ljude prosvijetli po pitanju toga u čemu se sastoji Moja volja i što je milo (pred) Mojim očima. Jer za to vi već dugo nemate mjerilo, i vaš nedostatak u duhovnom smislu vi ne poznajete. Stoga je uputno sa svom marljivošću i istrajnošću slijediti tu Moju zapovijed, da bi (čovjek) Moju volju učinio svojom i onda radio na sebi tako da ga onda Moja Ljubav može prožeti te on onda još jedino uvažava Moju volju. (23 Svibnja 1947) Što više čovjek Moju volju učini smjernicom svoga životnog puta, toliko više on postaje sličan s Mojim bićem, dok međutim ispunjavanje ljudski donešenih zapovijedi nema za posljedicu promjenu njegovog bića.

A Moja je volja ispunjavanje zapovijedi Ljubavi prema bližnjemu, putem čega čovjek istovremeno dokazuje svoju Ljubav prema Meni. I Ljubav prema bližnjemu treba biti prakticirana stalno i neprestano.... čovjek može sam sebe oblikovati u Ljubav, on može biti tako prožet Ljubavlju prema bližnjemu da ga ona potiče na neprestano djelovanje, da je ona dakle pokretačka sila njegovog razmišljanja, govora i postupaka. Tad će on bližnjima i biti primjer, on ne samo da će im primjerom pokazivati ispravan, Meni ugodan način života na Zemlji, nego će biti prepoznatljive i posljedice njegovog života Ljubavi.... on će biti ispunjen Mojim Duhom, znači on će od Mene primati znanje koje odgovara Istini i njega će moći predavati bližnjima.

No posljedica aktivne Ljubavi prema bližnjemu istovremeno je dokaz rastuće duševne zrelosti i isto tako dokaz za važnost ispunjavanja Moje zapovijedi Ljubavi. Ljudi Moju zapovijed ne uzimaju dovoljno ozbiljno, pa opet, ona je ono najvažnije u njihovom zemaljskom postojanju, jer o ispunjavanju nje ovisi cijeli život u vječnosti. Što je dakle razumljivije od toga da sam Ja tu zapovijed dao Mojim učenicima sa nalogom da idu u svijet i da uče sve narode, da ih prosvijetle po pitanju rezultata života Ljubavi, te fatalnih posljedica ne-Ljubav-nosti, tako da bi mogli dospjeti do duševne zrelosti još na Zemlji?

Ja Sâm na Zemlji sam propovijedao Ljubav, Ja Sâm dao sam im primjer života Ljubavi, i Ja Sâm sam im dokazao do koje Mudrosti i čudesne sile sam dospio putem Ljubavi.... i Ja sam sve koji su to ozbiljno uzeli uputio na sljedbeništvo.... No ljudi se nisu obazirali na to, a umjesto toga su sa fanatičnim elanom i ambicijama pazili na ono što je ljudski dodano Mojoj zapovijedi Ljubavi, što međutim sa nesebičnom Ljubavlju prema bližnjemu nema ni najmanje veze. A oni Moje zapovijedi drže za neizvodive.... i time sebi daju dokaz za to da ne vjeruju u istinitost Moje Riječi, Moje Mudrosti i Moje Ljubavi, inače bi bez dvojbe morali prihvatiti a i slijediti svaku Riječ iz Mojih usta.

Što Ja od ljudi zahtjevam to uvijek i vječno mora biti i izvodivo te od svih ljudi moguće za prihvatiti. I jedino ih slobodna volja može spriječiti u izvođenju te od Mene zahtijevane nesebične Ljubavi prema bližnjemu. I stoga se čovjek prije svega treba upoznati s Mojom voljom, on Ju treba učiniti svojom, treba se dakle odreći svoje vlastite volje i potpuno ući u Moju volju, a tad će ju i moći ispuniti, i to u svakoj životnoj situaciji, pošto Moja zapovijed nije dana samo za pojedine ljude, nego za sve, za kompletno čovječanstvo, koje s onu stranu Ljubavi trati život i stoga je i u najvećem neznanju, pošto je znanje tek posljedica života Ljubavi, koji sam Ja učinio zapovijeđu onima koji žele uspon i koji žele biti u najsvjetlijem svjetlu....
