Intercession for people distanced from God....

People who deem themselves too superior to call upon God for help are furthest away from God.... they are neither able to believe in a helpful and omnipotent Power nor look at prayer as a bridge which leads to the divine Deity.... who therefore will not establish a connection either and are thus totally on their own if they are faced by difficulties which earthly help cannot resolve. For if a person cannot find the path to God in this adversity he demonstrates that he still remains in blatant opposition to God, that earthly life has not yet gained him higher development, that he therefore is still in a very poor state if he has to give up his earthly life. He has not yet made a conscious effort in order to attain a higher level. And since he does not appeal for it in prayer he also lacks the strength to do so. And yet, even these people ought to sense the blessing of prayer, for they will be able to discover a perceptible softening of their nature as soon as a fellow human being prays on their behalf. Intercession can achieve very much and most of humanity could be redeemed by now if one would appeal to God for love and grace on behalf of the other. Then the wilful rejection would not be so immense anymore, for God grants every prayer which reveals unselfish neighbourly love if the gift of realisation for a fellow human being is being appealed for. God's infinite love is instantly willing to fulfil such a prayer because it testifies to love for another person. However, the distance to God is only reduced through love, and if the being itself fails it can still be helped on earth and shown the right path through intercession.

The further away a person is from the eternal Deity the more inconceivable the thought of help is to him. And therefore he will not turn to God in prayer either. But since a change of thinking can only be achieved though heartfelt prayer, a person should not miss any opportunity to sincerely pray for his fellow human being who is still of weak faith. The power of prayer is tremendous and a person can achieve anything with a devout prayer, and it especially affects spiritual states, that is, the person will relinquish his resistance regarding all spiritual matters, he will become reflective and think about what he previously adamantly rejected and will then arrive at a different result than before. A person who prays on behalf of his fellow human being for spiritual enlightenment has extraordinary influence over the latter which demonstrates itself by the fact that he is willing to listen to what is imparted to him, even if at first he was opposed to it, that he thinks about it and, if he later remembers it, that he will gladly and happily accept it. And thereby the distance to God will be diminished. Heartfelt prayer results in immense strength and must therefore take effect on his fellow human being as soon as this prayer is applied to him. This is why people who are distant from God are not hopelessly lost, for as soon as someone can be found who recognises their great spiritual hardship and would like to release them from it he has an effective means at his disposal.... the intimate intercession with God, which is very beneficially felt by the previously incorrigible person so that he cannot ignore this love. And he will be guided onto the right path and still attain realisation, if only after a very long time; but he is not hopelessly left at the mercy of the enemy, instead the beings struggling for good will remain victorious and help redeem the person from the state of being far away from God....

Intervention pour les hommes loin de Dieu

Les hommes qui se croient trop supérieurs pour implorer l’Aide à Dieu sont dans le plus grand éloignement de Dieu, ils ne peuvent ni croire en un Pouvoir tout-puissant qui Aide, ni voir dans la prière un pont qui mène à l'éternelle Divinité, et donc ils ne nouent aucune liaison avec Elle et de ce fait ils sont toujours totalement solitaires et, lorsque des difficultés où l'aide terrestre ne peut plus rien s'approchent d’eux, ils ne peuvent y faire face. Parce que si, dans cette misère, l'homme ne trouve pas Dieu, cela est une preuve qu’il reste encore dans une grande opposition contre Dieu, que la vie terrestre ne lui a encore apporté aucun développement vers le Haut, que donc il se trouve dans un état très pitoyable, lorsqu’il doit laisser la vie terrestre. Il n'a fait encore rien de conscient sur lui, pour arriver à une marche plus élevée. Pour cela il lui manque la force, vu qu’il ne l'a pas demandée dans la prière. Et malgré cela ces hommes doivent sentir la bénédiction de la prière, parce qu'ils pourront constater un ramollissement perceptible de leur être, dès qu’un prochain priera pour eux. L’intervention peut faire beaucoup et la plupart de l'humanité serait sauvée si l’un voulait demander pour l'autre l’amour et la grâce de Dieu. Alors la volonté de refus ne serait plus aussi grande, parce que Dieu écoute la prière qui révèle l’amour désintéressé pour le prochain, lorsqu’Il est prié pour le don d’une aide pour le prochain. L'infini Amour de Dieu est toujours prêt pour s'acquitter d'une telle prière, parce qu'elle témoigne de l'amour pour le prochain. Car l'éloignement de Dieu peut être diminué seulement au moyen de l'amour, et si l'être échoue et il peut être aidé encore sur la Terre au moyen de l'intervention et il peut lui être indiqué la voie juste.

Plus loin l'homme se trouve de l'éternelle Divinité, plus incompréhensible lui est aussi la pensée d’une aide. Et de ce fait il ne se tourne pas vers Dieu dans la prière. Mais vu qu’un changement de pensée peut être obtenu seulement par une intime prière, l'homme ne doit perdre aucune possibilité de prier intimement pour son prochain qui est encore faible dans la foi. La force de la prière est énorme, et par la prière l'homme croyant obtient tout, et elle a un effet surtout sur l'état spirituel, c'est-à-dire que l'homme renonce à sa résistance contre tout le spirituel, il deviendra réfléchi et ce qu’il avait auparavant constamment refusé, maintenant il l'étudie et il arrivera à un autre résultat. Cet homme qui prie pour l’éclairage spirituel de son prochain a une influence hors du commun et cela s'exprime de sorte que celui-ci écoute maintenant volontairement ce qui lui est transmis, même si initialement il était réticent, ainsi il réfléchit et si plus tard il s’en rappelle, il l’accepte volontiers et avec joie. Et ainsi l'éloignement de Dieu diminue. La prière intérieure apporte la plus grande force et donc elle doit se manifester sur le prochain, lorsque la prière était pour lui. Les hommes loin de Dieu ne sont donc pas perdus sans espoir, parce que lorsqu’ils trouvent quelqu'un qui reconnaît la grande misère spirituelle de ceux-ci et qui voudrait les libérer, eux-mêmes ont en main un moyen efficace, une intime prière adressée à Dieu, que l'homme qui était incorrigible, perçoit agréablement et il ne peut pas se fermer à cet amour. Il sera guidé sur la voie juste et arrivera même à la reconnaissance, même si c’est souvent seulement après un temps long ; mais il n'est pas exposé sans espoir à l'influence de l'ennemi, ainsi les êtres bons qui luttent rapporteront la victoire en aidant l'homme à le libérer de son état d'éloignement de Dieu.
