Intercession for people distanced from God....

People who deem themselves too superior to call upon God for help are furthest away from God.... they are neither able to believe in a helpful and omnipotent Power nor look at prayer as a bridge which leads to the divine Deity.... who therefore will not establish a connection either and are thus totally on their own if they are faced by difficulties which earthly help cannot resolve. For if a person cannot find the path to God in this adversity he demonstrates that he still remains in blatant opposition to God, that earthly life has not yet gained him higher development, that he therefore is still in a very poor state if he has to give up his earthly life. He has not yet made a conscious effort in order to attain a higher level. And since he does not appeal for it in prayer he also lacks the strength to do so. And yet, even these people ought to sense the blessing of prayer, for they will be able to discover a perceptible softening of their nature as soon as a fellow human being prays on their behalf. Intercession can achieve very much and most of humanity could be redeemed by now if one would appeal to God for love and grace on behalf of the other. Then the wilful rejection would not be so immense anymore, for God grants every prayer which reveals unselfish neighbourly love if the gift of realisation for a fellow human being is being appealed for. God's infinite love is instantly willing to fulfil such a prayer because it testifies to love for another person. However, the distance to God is only reduced through love, and if the being itself fails it can still be helped on earth and shown the right path through intercession.

The further away a person is from the eternal Deity the more inconceivable the thought of help is to him. And therefore he will not turn to God in prayer either. But since a change of thinking can only be achieved though heartfelt prayer, a person should not miss any opportunity to sincerely pray for his fellow human being who is still of weak faith. The power of prayer is tremendous and a person can achieve anything with a devout prayer, and it especially affects spiritual states, that is, the person will relinquish his resistance regarding all spiritual matters, he will become reflective and think about what he previously adamantly rejected and will then arrive at a different result than before. A person who prays on behalf of his fellow human being for spiritual enlightenment has extraordinary influence over the latter which demonstrates itself by the fact that he is willing to listen to what is imparted to him, even if at first he was opposed to it, that he thinks about it and, if he later remembers it, that he will gladly and happily accept it. And thereby the distance to God will be diminished. Heartfelt prayer results in immense strength and must therefore take effect on his fellow human being as soon as this prayer is applied to him. This is why people who are distant from God are not hopelessly lost, for as soon as someone can be found who recognises their great spiritual hardship and would like to release them from it he has an effective means at his disposal.... the intimate intercession with God, which is very beneficially felt by the previously incorrigible person so that he cannot ignore this love. And he will be guided onto the right path and still attain realisation, if only after a very long time; but he is not hopelessly left at the mercy of the enemy, instead the beings struggling for good will remain victorious and help redeem the person from the state of being far away from God....

Intercesión a favor de las personas alejadas de Dios....

Las personas mas alejadas de Dios son aquellas que se creen demasiado elevadas para pedirle ayuda, que no pueden creer en un Poder servicial y omnipotente, ni ver la oración como un puente que conduce a la Deidad eterna. En consecuencia no establecen una conexión y, por tanto, se quedan completamente solas cuando se enfrentan a dificultades graves en las que la ayuda terrenal ya no puede resolver. Si el ser humano no encuentra a Dios en esta adversidad, esto prueba que sigue en flagrante resistencia a Dios, que la vida terrenal no le ha aportado todavía un desarrollo superior, y que, por tanto, está en muy mal preparada para cuando tenga que abandonar la vida terrenal. Todavía no ha trabajado conscientemente en sí mismo para alcanzar un nivel superior. También le faltan las fuerzas para hacerlo, ya que no las ha pedido en la oración. Sin embargo, estas personas también necesitan sentir la bendición de la oración, pues gracias a ella podrán notar que ahora son mas indulgentes cuando un semejante lo necesite. Esta intercesión es muy poderosa y la mayoría de la humanidad sería redimida si cada quien pidiera a Dios amor y misericordia para el otro. Entonces, la voluntad o actitud de rechazo ya no sería tan grande en la humanidad, pues Dios escucha la oración que demuestra amor desinteresado al prójimo si se pide el don del conocimiento para el mismo. El amor infinito de Dios está inmediatamente dispuesto a cumplir una oración así, porque atestigua el amor al prójimo. La distancia de Dios sólo puede reducirse a través del amor, y si el ser se falla a sí mismo todavía puede ser ayudado en la tierra a través de la intercesión y entonces se le muestra el camino correcto. Cuanto más alejado está el ser humano de la Deidad eterna, más incomprensible le resulta pensar en ayuda. Y por eso no se dirige a Dios en la oración. Pero como el cambio de pensamiento sólo puede lograrse a través de la oración de corazón, el ser humano no debe perder ninguna oportunidad de orar de corazón por su prójimo que aún es débil en la fe. El poder de la oración es enorme, y a través de la oración creyente el ser humano lo consigue todo, y afecta especialmente al estado espiritual, es decir, el ser humano abandonará su resistencia a todo lo espiritual, se volverá reflexivo y ahora pensará en lo que antes rechazaba constantemente y llegará a una conclusión diferente a la anterior. La persona que reza por la iluminación espiritual de su prójimo tendrá una influencia extraordinaria sobre éste, y ésta se manifestará de tal manera que escuchará de buen grado lo que se le imparte, aunque inicialmente se haya opuesto a ello. Lo pensará mas a fondo y, si más tarde le sube a la consciencia, lo aceptará de buen grado y con alegría. Y así se reduce la distancia con Dios. La oración de corazón lleva la mayor fuerza y, por lo tanto, debe tener un efecto en la otra persona tan pronto como esta oración sea destinada a ella. Por esta razón, las personas alejadas de Dios no están perdidas sin remedio, pues en cuanto se encuentra a alguien que reconoce su gran penuria espiritual y quiere liberarlas de ella, tiene a su disposición un medio eficaz de ayuda: la intercesión íntima con Dios, que la persona hasta entonces indoblegable percibe sutilmente como sumamente beneficiosa y no puede cerrarse a este amor. Y será guiado hacia el camino correcto y todavía llegará al conocimiento, aunque a menudo sólo después de mucho tiempo. Pero no está irremediablemente a merced de la influencia del enemigo, sino que los seres buenos que luchan saldrán victoriosos y ayudarán a redimir al ser humano de su estado distante de Dios....
