Bound will.... recognizing the love of God....

The life-giving influx of divine power flows through all works of creation and is therefore the primordial force and the source of all life. The divine will, which brought everything into being, now also ensures the existence of all that exists. The meaning and purpose of creation is the return of all that is spiritual to God as its origin, consequently the spiritual flows the power from God in order to be able to accomplish the return to Him. If now the spiritual substance would refuse to accept the strength it would also have no possibility of development, for without the supply of divine strength the works of creation could not exist, thus the spiritual substance would not be able to change either, and consequently it would remain in the same state as it was when it fell away from God. And the beingness would refuse to receive this strength if it had to determine it itself, for it emerged from the adversary's will and his will was also transferred to the beingness even though it had received the right of self-determination from God. And thus the spiritual substance had to be incorporated into the work of creation against its will, that is, its will was bound, and this for its redemption from the adversary's will. The resistance against God remained but the being is powerless against the divine will. What the being did not recognize in its delusion it must learn to recognize in an infinitely long process through creation.... the infinite love of God.... Every work of creation betrays this love of God, and when the beingness now feels the power from God against its will, i.e. enters the circuit of divine love, the stubborn resistance begins to weaken and the bound will now turns to the eternal deity of its own accord. And God increasingly loosens the still bound will and gives the being more freedom the more its will complies with Him by fulfilling the task assigned to it, i.e. by being willing to serve. It certainly cannot refuse to carry out the serving activity which is destined for it, since it is in a certain state of compulsion, but if at the same time the will of the spiritual being is willing to do so, it gives up its former resistance and progresses in higher development. Thus the being will feel God's love in every external form, yet it will only recognize God's love in its final stage as a human being.... i.e. the connection of all things with God and itself as His living creation.... And that is why it can only be given back its free will as a human being. The misuse of it is a step backwards, the right use of it is progress in his higher development. And this is divine love, which lets nothing fall, even if it stands in blatant defence against God. But how much more intimately does divine love embrace the beings which try to approach Him out of their own impulse.... for whom the earthly way of life has brought the realization of the eternal deity and Its infinite love.... Every endeavour towards God is pleasing to Him, provided it is truly, i.e. inwardly felt. And what merciful love He shows to the being that errs and yet is willing.... He tries to lead it to the right realization as long as it does not resist Him. And all earthly torments aim to purify the spiritual being which does not completely entrust itself to God's guidance and is therefore still wavering in the right realization. God's love wants to be recognized through love, and busy loving activity therefore also brings the human being closer to divine love. Serving God in free will means giving love to one's fellow human beings.... recognizing divine love will become easy for them and, looking back, at the end of their physical life they will understand the infinite love of God, which banished the beingness in order to set it free.

묶인 의지. 사랑의 하나님을 깨달음.

생명을 주는 하나님의 능력의 흐름이 모든 창조물에게 흘러간다. 그러므로 이 흐름이 모든 생명의 원동력이고, 원천이다. 모든 것을 지은 하나님의 의지가 이제 또한 존재하는 모든 것을 유지한다. 창조한 뜻과 목적은 모든 영적인 존재들의 원래 출처인 하나님께 귀환이므로, 영적인 존재들의 귀환을 돕기 위해, 하나님으로부터 영적인 존재들에게 능력이 공급된다.

본질적인 존재가 능력을 받아들이기를 거절한다면, 그가 발전할 가능성은 없다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 능력을 받지 않고는, 창조물들이 유지될 수 없기 때문이다. 그러므로 본질적인 존재는 또한 변화될 수 없고, 이로써 존재는 그가 하나님을 떠났을 때와 똑같은 상태에 머문다. 존재가 스스로 결정해야만 한다면, 그는 능력을 받는 일을 거절했을 것이다. 왜냐하면 하나님으로부터 스스로 결정할 권리를 받았을지라도, 본질적인 존재가 대적자의 의지에서 출발되어 나왔고, 대적자의 의지가 본질적 존재에게 전가되었기 때문이다.

그러므로 영적인 존재는 자신의 의지와는 반대로 다시 창조물 안으로 들어가야만 했다. 다시 말해 그의 의지가 대적자의 의지로부터 자유롭게 되기 위해 묶여지게 되었다. 하나님에 대한 저항이 그에게 남아있지만, 그는 하나님을 대항하여 아무것도 할 수 없게 되었다. 본질적인 존재가 창조물을 거치는 끝없이 긴 과정을 통해, 눈이 멀어 깨닫지 못했던, 하나님의 끝없는 사랑을 깨달아야만 한다.

모든 창조물은 이 하나님의 사랑을 나타낸다. 본질적인 존재가 다시 하나님의 뜻 즉 하나님으로부터 오는 힘을 느낄 때, 다시 말해 하나님의 사랑의 흐름 안에 들어 갈 때, 그는 완강한 저항을 포기하고, 묶여진 의지가 이제 스스로 영원한 신성에게 향한다. 하나님은 묶여진 의지를 점점 더 풀어준다. 그가 주어진 과제를 수행함으로, 즉 섬기기를 원하면서 그의 의지가 하나님을 향하는 만큼, 그에게 자유가 주어진다.

영적인 존재의 그에게 정해진 섬기는 일을 수행하는 일을 거절하지는 않는다. 왜냐면 그의 의지가 어느 정도 의무단계에 있기 때문이다. 그러나 이 가운데 영적인 존재의 의지가 섬기려는 자세를 갖는다면, 존재가 가졌던 반발심을 버리고, 위로 성장하게 된다. 존재는 모든 겉형체 안에서 하나님의 사랑을 느낀다. 그러나 존재가 하나님의 사랑을, 즉 하나님과 연관된 모든 것과 하나님의 피조물인 자신을 깨닫는 일은, 그가 마지막 단계인 인간이 될 때이다.

그러므로 그가 인간이 되었을 때, 비로소 그에게 자유의지를 줄 수 있다. 이런 자유의지를 잘못 사용하는 일은 퇴보하는 일이다. 이런 자유의지를 잘 사용하는 일은 높은 곳을 향한 자신의 성장 과정에서 진척을 이루는 일이다. 비록 존재가 극심하게 하나님을 거절했을지라도, 어느 존재도 버리지 않는 일이 하나님의 사랑이다. 그렇다면 스스로 영원한 신성에게 다가가는 삶을 통해, 영원한 신성과 그의 끝없는 사랑을 깨달은 존재를 향한 하나님의 사랑은 얼마나 더 깊겠는가! 하나님은 자신에게 향하려는 모든 노력을, 이런 노력이 진정하고, 내적인 것이라면, 기뻐한다.

하나님이 얼마나 오류 가운데 있지만 원하는 존재에게 긍휼히 여기는 사랑을 베푸는가! 존재가 자신에게 저항하지만 않는다면, 하나님은 존재에게 올바른 깨달음을 주려고 노력한다. 모든 이 땅 위의 고통은 영적인 존재의 정화를 위한 것이다. 이런 영적인 존재들은 전적으로 자신을 헌신하며, 하나님의 인도를 신뢰하지 않는다. 때문에 그들의 올바른 깨달음이 흔들린다.

하나님의 사랑은 사랑을 통해 깨닫음 받기를 원한다. 그러므로 활발하게 사랑을 행하는 일이 사람이 하나님의 사랑에 가까이 다가가게 한다. 자유의지로 하나님을 섬긴다는 의미는 이웃사람을 사랑한다는 의미이다. 이런 사람이 하나님의 사랑을 깨닫는 일은 쉬울 것이다. 그는 육신의 삶의 마지막에 되돌아보면서 본질적인 존재들을 자유롭게 만들기 위해 묶어 두는, 하나님의 끝없는 사랑을 이해하게 될 것이다._>아멘
