Higher development requires: dissolving matter.... assuming the will....

Progressive development requires striving upwards, it requires the soul to detach itself from matter, to give up its own will and to utilize divine strength.... Man must give up one thing in order to be able to receive that which is valuable for eternity. It is inevitable that the soul must first overcome the inclination towards matter before it can occupy itself with the spiritual, for spiritual experience is inconceivable as long as the human being is dominated by earthly possessions insofar as his thoughts and desires are only concerned with their increase and the earthly pleasures made possible by them. Spiritual experience requires a detachment from everything that delights the body.... Only those who have completely overcome the body can raise their spirit to the heights, and only then is higher development assured. However, in order to have the strength to overcome earthly desires, this strength must be requested, for without support he himself is too weak. That is why the human being must not forget to pray. Prayer for strength for the salvation of the soul is always welcome by the father in heaven. Entrusting the need to Him in heartfelt prayer, asking Him for help and then patiently waiting to see how God sends His help to the person on earth is the right preparation for the spiritual experience. And if the human being then listens to the inner voice, the divine will will be made known to him clearly and distinctly.... And now it is up to the person himself to what extent he submits to divine will. If he needs any spiritual help then he only needs to raise his thoughts to God and he will receive this help, often in the most marvellous way. Surrendering his will to God is unspeakably blissful, for such a person is relieved of all responsibility and all his thoughts and actions must now also correspond to divine will. The slightest offence will make the path to God more difficult to pass, for man thereby creates obstacles for himself which often block the narrow path upwards and it costs him great effort to clear them out of the way. God is constantly giving.... He distributes His grace to make it easy for His earthly child to reach Him. And if it prays, it will also very soon know what it should do in order to lift its state of soul.... and if the will is good, then it will obey everything God asks of it....

Condições de desenvolvimento mais elevadas: Destacamento da matéria.... Imputando a vontade....

Um desenvolvimento progressivo requer um esforço pela altura, requer um desapego da alma da matéria, a renúncia da própria vontade e o uso do poder divino..... O ser humano deve desistir de uma coisa para poder receber o que é valioso para a eternidade. É inevitável que a alma deva primeiro superar sua inclinação para a matéria, antes de poder se preocupar com o espiritual, pois a experiência espiritual é inconcebível enquanto o ser humano for dominado por bens terrenos, na medida em que seus pensamentos e aspirações só se aplicam ao seu crescimento e os prazeres terrenos tornados possíveis por isso. A experiência espiritual requer um desapego de tudo o que encanta o corpo. Somente aquele que superou completamente o corpo pode balançar o seu espírito para cima, e só então está assegurado um desenvolvimento superior. Mas para ter força para superar os desejos terrenos, essa força tem de ser solicitada, pois sem apoio ele próprio é demasiado fraco. Portanto, o ser humano não deve esquecer a oração. A oração pela força para a salvação da alma é sempre bem-vinda ao Pai que está nos céus. Confiar a adversidade a Ele em oração sincera, pedir-Lhe ajuda e depois esperar pacientemente para ver de que forma Deus enviará a Sua ajuda ao ser humano terreno é a preparação certa para a experiência espiritual. E se o ser humano ouvir a voz interior, a vontade divina ser-lhe-á dada a conhecer clara e inequivocamente. E agora cabe ao próprio ser humano o quanto ele se submete à vontade divina. Se ele precisar de alguma ajuda de uma forma espiritual, só precisa elevar seus pensamentos a Deus e essa ajuda será dada a ele, muitas vezes da maneira mais maravilhosa. Entregar a própria vontade a Deus é indizívelmente feliz, pois tal pessoa está isenta de toda responsabilidade e todos os seus pensamentos e ações devem agora corresponder também à vontade divina. A mínima infração tornará mais difícil a passagem do caminho para Deus, pois o ser humano cria assim obstáculos para si mesmo que muitas vezes bloqueiam o estreito caminho para cima e custa-lhe um grande esforço para libertá-los do caminho. Deus dá incessantemente.... Ele distribui a Sua graça, a fim de facilitar que o Seu filho terreno O alcance. E se rezar saberá também muito em breve o que deve fazer para elevar o seu estado de alma.... e se a vontade for boa, então ela obedecerá a tudo o que Deus lhe pedir....
