Higher development requires: dissolving matter.... assuming the will....

Progressive development requires striving upwards, it requires the soul to detach itself from matter, to give up its own will and to utilize divine strength.... Man must give up one thing in order to be able to receive that which is valuable for eternity. It is inevitable that the soul must first overcome the inclination towards matter before it can occupy itself with the spiritual, for spiritual experience is inconceivable as long as the human being is dominated by earthly possessions insofar as his thoughts and desires are only concerned with their increase and the earthly pleasures made possible by them. Spiritual experience requires a detachment from everything that delights the body.... Only those who have completely overcome the body can raise their spirit to the heights, and only then is higher development assured. However, in order to have the strength to overcome earthly desires, this strength must be requested, for without support he himself is too weak. That is why the human being must not forget to pray. Prayer for strength for the salvation of the soul is always welcome by the father in heaven. Entrusting the need to Him in heartfelt prayer, asking Him for help and then patiently waiting to see how God sends His help to the person on earth is the right preparation for the spiritual experience. And if the human being then listens to the inner voice, the divine will will be made known to him clearly and distinctly.... And now it is up to the person himself to what extent he submits to divine will. If he needs any spiritual help then he only needs to raise his thoughts to God and he will receive this help, often in the most marvellous way. Surrendering his will to God is unspeakably blissful, for such a person is relieved of all responsibility and all his thoughts and actions must now also correspond to divine will. The slightest offence will make the path to God more difficult to pass, for man thereby creates obstacles for himself which often block the narrow path upwards and it costs him great effort to clear them out of the way. God is constantly giving.... He distributes His grace to make it easy for His earthly child to reach Him. And if it prays, it will also very soon know what it should do in order to lift its state of soul.... and if the will is good, then it will obey everything God asks of it....

Un desarrollo superior requiere un desapego de la materia.... Subordinación de la voluntad

Un desarrollo progresivo requiere un esfuerzo por alcanzar las alturas, requiere un desprendimiento del alma de la materia, la renuncia a la propia voluntad y el uso del poder divino.... El hombre debe renunciar a una cosa para poder recibir lo que tiene valor para la eternidad. Es inevitable que el alma deba superar primero la inclinación hacia la materia antes de poder ocuparse de lo espiritual, porque la experiencia espiritual es impensable mientras el hombre esté dominado por los bienes terrenales, en la medida en que sus pensamientos y aspiraciones sólo los aumentan y las alegrías terrenales hechas posibles al respecto.

La experiencia espiritual requiere la liberación de todo lo que agrada al cuerpo.... Sólo aquellos que han superado completamente el cuerpo pueden elevar su espíritu hacia arriba, y sólo entonces se garantiza un desarrollo superior. Pero para tener la fuerza para superar los deseos terrenales, es necesario pedir esta fuerza, porque sin apoyo él mismo es demasiado débil.

Por eso el hombre no debe olvidar la oración. El Padre Celestial agradece la oración pidiendo fortaleza para la salvación del alma en cualquier momento. Confiarle su necesidad en oración ferviente, pedirle ayuda y ahora esperar pacientemente a ver cómo Dios envía Su ayuda al hombre en la Tierra es la preparación adecuada para la experiencia espiritual. Y si luego el hombre escucha la voz interior, la voluntad divina se le da a conocer con toda claridad.

Y ahora depende del hombre mismo hasta qué punto se somete a la voluntad divina. Si necesita ayuda espiritual, todo lo que tiene que hacer es elevar su pensamiento hacia Dios y esta ayuda le llegará, a menudo de la manera más maravillosa. Entregar la propia voluntad a Dios es una satisfacción indescriptible, porque ese hombre queda liberado de toda responsabilidad y todos sus pensamientos y acciones ahora tienen que corresponder también a la voluntad divina.

La más mínima infracción en contra hará que el camino hacia Dios sea más difícil de recorrer, porque con ello el hombre crea obstáculos que a menudo bloquean el angosto camino hacia arriba y se necesita mucho esfuerzo para eliminarlos. Dios da constantemente.... Distribuye Su gracia para que a Su hijo terrenal le resulte más fácil llegar a Él. Y si ora, muy pronto sabrá lo que debe hacer para mejorar su estado de ánimo.... y si su voluntad es buena, entonces hará todo lo que Dios le pida.... amén
