Worldly power.... righteous leadership....

In the worldly power the spiritual embodies itself, which is destined to rule on earth in order to again be a guide for many people on earth. The ruling power can likewise fulfil tasks on earth in the will of God if it humbly submits to Him, i.e. asks His blessing for everything it has to carry out according to its power.... Then the ruler will be a just and wise leader for the people, for God's will will then be revealed through him. The spiritual power of such a ruler is therefore likewise prepared to serve, and it has been given an office for earthly time which prescribes the leadership of many people. But now the leader must fulfil this task in such a way that the people entrusted to him derive an advantage from it, both earthly and spiritually. The ruler must not abuse his office by harming people in body or soul. Those entrusted to him must not suffer any earthly or spiritual disadvantage as a result of his ruling power, they must be happy and content under his rule and their state of mind must improve, then the ruler will exercise his power in accordance with divine will. And he then serves on earth even though he rules. For he gives an infinite number of people the opportunity to mature spiritually and at the same time he also exercises neighbourly love towards those for whom he makes earthly life bearable. However, if he abuses his power in order to oppress his subjects, if he tries to take advantage of them himself, if he uses violence, i.e. unkindness, against them, if he does not respect their property or otherwise causes them any physical or psychological harm, then his rule is not service which is God-willed but he is influenced by the adversary who fights love and only allows unkindness and hatred to speak. Then the people who are subject to such a ruler are endangered in body and soul. For unkindness will lead to unkindness again. People will inflict on each other what is inflicted on them by this power. Whoever is in danger of losing property will also want to take his neighbour's property, every injustice that the ruler inflicts on his people will be imitated, and people will harass and antagonize each other because they are following the example of the one who is supposed to be their leader. As he leads them, so these people go, they are, as it were, in bondage to him as long as they do not yet fully recognize him. They do the same as he does before them and believe themselves to be in the right, even if it is an act of unkindness. And the spirit harboured in such a ruler is far from redeeming itself.... It is still too much under the power of the opponent and does what he wants. And then the people are misled and in great danger, for the souls are likewise dominated by evil power. And that is why people must be made to realize that if they have a leader who does not carry out God's will but is in the service of evil, so that they may learn to judge his deeds and refrain from imitating them. A ruler should always be a shining example for his subjects, he himself should live in such a way that no blame can fall on him, he should acknowledge God and always seek His will, he should be a strict and just but also a kind judge who influences his people in love and tries to influence them so that they follow him gladly and willingly.... Then he will have great power over his people and use this power for good.... Then he will lead his people as God wills.... He will be their counsellor in earthly as well as in spiritual need, he will only be concerned to administer the office given to him justly and wisely, he will lead the people on the right path, he will pray to God for strength for his earthly task, and God will help him to be a just and loving ruler for his people....

O espiritual encarna-se na força mundana que está destinada a governar na Terra para ser novamente um guia para muitas pessoas na Terra. O poder dominante também pode cumprir tarefas na terra de acordo com a vontade de Deus se humildemente se submeter a Ele, isto é, se pedir a Sua bênção para tudo o que tem de fazer de acordo com o seu poder..... Então o governante será um líder justo e sábio para o povo, pois a vontade de Deus então se fará conhecida através dele. O poder espiritual de tal governante está, portanto, igualmente disposto a servir, e foi-lhe dado um cargo para o tempo na Terra, que prescreve a orientação de muitas pessoas para ele. Mas agora o líder deve cumprir esta tarefa de tal forma que as pessoas a ele confiadas se beneficiem dela, tanto terrena como espiritualmente. O governante não deve abusar do seu cargo prejudicando as pessoas de corpo ou alma. Aqueles confiados ao seu governo não devem sofrer nenhuma desvantagem terrena ou espiritual, devem estar felizes e satisfeitos sob o seu governo e o seu estado de alma deve melhorar, então o governante exercerá o seu poder de acordo com a vontade divina. E então ele vai servir na terra, embora ele governe. Pois ele dá a infinitas pessoas a oportunidade de amadurecer espiritualmente e, ao mesmo tempo, ele também pratica o amor ao próximo para com aqueles a quem torna suportável a vida terrena. No entanto, se ele abusa de seu poder para oprimir seus subordinados, se ele próprio tenta se aproveitar deles, se usa a violência, isto é, a indelicadeza, contra eles, se não respeita seus bens ou os prejudica física ou mentalmente, então sua regra não é um serviço desejado por Deus, mas é influenciado pelo adversário que luta contra o amor e só permite que a indelicadeza e o ódio falem. Então o povo que está sujeito a tal governante está em perigo no corpo e na alma. Pois a indelicadeza vai levar à indelicadeza novamente. As pessoas vão infligir umas às outras o que lhes é infligido por este poder. Quem estiver em perigo de perder posses também vai querer tirar os bens do seu vizinho, toda injustiça infligida pelo governante ao seu povo será imitada, e as pessoas vão se assediar e hostilizar umas às outras porque seguem o exemplo daquele que supostamente é um líder para eles. Enquanto ele os conduz, estas pessoas vão, por assim dizer, estão em cativeiro com ele, desde que ainda não o reconheçam bem. Eles fazem o mesmo que ele faz diante deles, e acreditam estar no direito, mesmo que seja um ato de indelicadeza. E o espiritual que se esconde em tal governante está longe de se redimir.... Ainda está demasiado sob o poder do adversário e faz o que ele quer. E então o povo está mal orientado e em grande perigo, pois as almas também são governadas por um poder maligno. E, portanto, as pessoas devem receber o conhecimento (que) se eles têm um líder que não cumpre a vontade de Deus, mas está a serviço do maligno, para que eles possam aprender a julgar as suas obras e se abster de imitá-los. Um governante deve ser sempre um exemplo brilhante para os seus súbditos, ele próprio deve viver de tal forma que nenhuma culpa o possa atingir, deve reconhecer Deus e procurar sempre a Sua vontade, deve ser de facto um juiz rigoroso e justo, mas também um juiz bondoso que influencia o seu povo no amor e procura influenciá-lo de tal forma que o sigam de bom grado e de boa vontade.... Então ele terá grande poder sobre o seu povo e usará esse poder num bom sentido.... Então ele conduzirá o seu povo como Deus quer.... Ele será um conselheiro para eles tanto na adversidade terrena como na espiritual, ele só se preocupará em administrar o ofício que lhe foi dado com justiça e sabedoria, ele guiará o povo no caminho certo, rezará a Deus por força para sua tarefa terrena e Deus o ajudará a ser um governante justo e amoroso para o seu povo....
