The activity of the beings of light requires the deepest knowledge....

Everything that has its origin in God is destined for eternal life. For God is life, light and truth, so that which has come forth from Him must likewise live if it stands in the light and in the truth. For to live means to be active, and only the knowing human being can be active in accordance with God's will. Activity in eternal life requires the deepest knowledge of everything that exists in God's work of creation. The being must have penetrated divine wisdom, it must master and regocnize everything; it must have the same knowledge in order to be able to create the same. Lack of knowledge is an obstacle to the fulfilment of the task assigned to it as a being of light. Countless beings emerged from a power that strived towards God.... all these beings have to be guided into the favourable form, they have to go countless ways in countless changes, always directed and guided by divine will, which is again carried out by beings of light serving God, and all these beings of light have to be in knowledge in order to be able to comply with divine will. The active will of the individual being only comes into its own in its embodiment as a human being. This will does not always strive towards that which earns it eternal life. Hence this will, too, has to be directed again by perfect beings who know about the course through all works of creation and can now influence the human being accordingly so that he uses his will in a way that guarantees eternal life. It is a battle for such beings standing in higher development, which however can only be waged successfully because the being of light is in knowledge and knows exactly the stage as man as well as the preliminary stages and is now accordingly his influence on the will of man. Everything that lives on earth is subject to the constant care of these beings of light, every work of creation is entrusted to the beings of light insofar as they constantly influence the spiritual in it by causing it to be active.... to serve and thus constantly drive the being to develop higher. The will of the being of light is, since it is perfect after all, also the will of God, and therefore every work of creation is under the influence of divine will. Everything in creation has to carry out the activity that corresponds to God's will because the driving force is nothing other than divine will. Only in existence as man can his free will be directed against divine will and therefore also destroy a process of higher development lasting thousands of years when he abuses free will and now no longer serves but wants to rule again in a sense (will?)opposite to God. Then the being does not prove itself to be able to enter the beyond as a likewise creating being, for it has not utilized the last stage to penetrate the knowledge of divine truths. Its state is lightless and can therefore never lead to an activity that requires light, i.e. knowledge, to the highest degree. The being on earth did not strive for perfection and consequently cannot work in accordance with divine will. The being also remains without light in the beyond until it desires light itself and can now make up for what it missed on earth in the beyond, but for which it now requires utmost strength, which now has to be imparted to it by beings standing in the light. This is likewise an activity of these beings of light which requires profound knowledge of divine wisdom, since the beings of light now appear as teachers and have to know everything in order to be able to proclaim everything. The tasks of the beings in the beyond are so varied and they are all based on profound knowledge of God and His reign and activity in supreme perfection.... Only the knowledge of this enables a being to carry out what is its ultimate destiny....

빛의 존재가 활동하게 하는 일에 가장 깊은 지식이 필요하다.

하나님으로부터 유래된 모든 존재는 영원한 생명을 갖도록 정함을 받았다. 하나님은 생명이고 빛이고 진리이기 때문이다. 그러므로 하나님으로부터 나온 것도 그들이 역시 빛과 진리 안에 있다면, 생명이어야만 한다. 산다는 것은 일하는 것을 의미하고, 단지 지식을 가진 사람이 하나님의 뜻에 따라 일할 수 있기 때문이다. 영원한 삶 가운데 일하기 위해서는 하나님의 창조 역사에 관한 모든 것을 가장 깊게 아는 지식이 필요하다. 존재는 하나님의 지혜 안으로 들어가야만 하고, 모든 것을 다스려야만 하고, 깨달아야만 한다. 그가 같은 것을 창조하기 위해 같은 지식을 가져야만 한다. 지식의 부족은 빛의 존재로서 그에게 주어진 과제를 수행하는 데 장애가 된다.

하나님을 대적하는 권세로부터 셀 수 없게 많은 존재들이 나왔다. 이 모든 존재들은 그들에게 도움이 되는 형체 안으로 인도되어야만 하고, 그들은 셀 수 없게 많은 변화를 겪으면서, 셀 수 없게 많은 길을 가야만 한다. 그들은 항상 하나님의 의지에 의해 지도를 받고, 인도를 받아야만 한다. 이런 일은 다시 하나님을 섬기는 빛의 존재들에 의해 수행이 된다. 모든 이런 빛의 존재들은 하나님의 뜻에 순종하기 위해 지식이 있어야만 한다. 개인의 일하려는 의지는 존재가 인간으로 육신을 입게 될 때 비로소 자신의 권리를 받게 된다. 이 의지가 항상 자신에게 영원한 생명을 주는 일을 추구하지는 않는다. 그러므로 이런 의지는 온전한 존재에 의해 다시 인도를 받고, 지도를 받아야만 한다. 온전한 존재는 모든 창조물의 과정을 알고, 이 지식으로 이제 사람이 그에게 영원한 생명을 주는 형체 안에서 그의 의지를 활용하도록 사람에게 역사할 수 있다.

이런 일은 높은 성장 과정 가운데 있는 존재들의 투쟁이다. 그러나 빛의 존재가 단지 지식을 가지고 있고, 인간의 단계와 이 전의 예비 단계, 모두를 가장 세밀하게 알고 있기 때문에 단지 성공적으로 수행할 수 있다. 이 땅에 살고 있는 모든 존재는 이런 빛의 존재들의 끊임없는 보살핌을 받고 있다. 그러므로 모든 창조물은 빛의 존재들에게 맡겨져 있고, 빛의 존재는 그 안에 영적인 존재에게 끊임없이 역사하여, 빛의 존재들이 일을 하게 만들고, 섬기게 만든다. 다시 말해 영적인 존재들이 높게 성장하도록 항상 그들을 인도한다.

빛의 존재의 의지가 온전하기 때문에, 그의 의지는 또한 하나님의 뜻이다. 그러므로 모든 창조물은 하나님의 뜻의 영향 아래 산다. 모든 창조물은 하나님의 뜻에 합당한 일을 수행해야만 한다. 왜냐하면 원동력이 단지 하나님의 뜻이기 때문이다. 단지 인간으로서 존재하는 동안에만 그의 자유의지가 하나님의 의지에 대항할 수 있다. 따라서 그가 자유의지를 남용하고, 이제 더 이상 섬기지 않는다면, 하나님의 뜻과는 반대로 다시 지배하기를 원한다면, 수천 년에 걸친 더 높은 성장을 위한 과정을 파괴할 수 있다.

그러면 존재는 자신이 마찬가지로 창조하는 존재로서 저 세상의 영원한 생명 안으로 들어갈 수 있음을 증명하지 못한다. 왜냐하면 그가 마지막 단계를 하나님의 진리의 지식 안으로 들어가기 위해 활용하지 않았기 때문이다. 그의 상태는 빛이 없다. 그러므로 그는 절대로 최고로 높은 정도의 빛을, 다시 말해 최고로 높은 정도의 지식이 요구되는 일을 수행할 수 없다. 존재는 이 땅에서 온전하게 되기 위한 추구를 하지 않았고, 결과적으로 그는 이제 하나님의 뜻대로 일할 수 없다. 존재는 자신이 빛을 원할 때까지, 저 세상에서도 빛이 없는 상태로 남아 있고, 이제 저 세상에 이 땅에서 하지 않은 일을 보충할 수 있다. 그러나 보충하기 위해 엄청나게 큰 힘이 필요하고, 이 힘이 이제 빛 가운데 있는 존재에 의해 전달이 되야만 한다.

이런 빛의 존재들이 하는 일에 마찬가지로 하나님의 지혜에 대한 가장 깊은 지식이 필요하다. 왜냐하면 빛의 존재가 가르치는 일에 나서고, 모든 것을 알리기 위해 모든 것을 알아야만 하기 때문이다. 빛의 존재들이 저세상에서 하는 일은 다양하다. 이런 다양한 일은 최고로 온전한 하나님과 하나님의 통치에 대한 깊은 깨달음에 기초를 두고 있다. 이런 지식이 비로소 존재가 자신의 최종적인 사명을 수행할 수 있게 한다.
