Zuwendung der Hilfe von oben in Zeiten der geistigen Not....

Es benötigt die Menschheit von Zeit zu Zeit eine außergewöhnliche Zuwendung der Hilfe von oben, denn der geistige Tiefstand wirkt sich bedrohlich aus, und so Gott nicht den Menschen beistehen möchte, würde sich die gesamte Menschheit zerfleischen in gegenseitigem Haß und in Lieblosigkeit. Sowie die Liebe unter den Menschen erkaltet, sind sie zu allem fähig, und dieser Geist der Lieblosigkeit ist es, der Anlaß ist zu dem großen Erdenleid. So Gott in Seiner Liebe nicht zu den Menschen kommen möchte und von Seinem Liebereichtum denen abgeben möchte, die noch in der Liebe stehen, wäre die Erde wahrlich bald nur noch ein Schauplatz der schlechtesten Taten. Doch wo die Lieblosigkeit verbannt ist, dort ist die Stimme Gottes wahrnehmbar, und es gibt diese Stimme Kunde davon, daß ein Gott ist, Der Sich der Menschen liebreich annimmt. Gott Selbst gibt Sich im Wort kund, Gott Selbst läßt geistige Nahrung zur Erde niederfließen, und es ist dies ein Mittel, um die Lieblosigkeit unter den Menschen zu verringern. Es wird so mancher stutzig werden ob der Kundgaben, sofern es ihm ernst ist, zu prüfen. Und so der Empfangende sich ernstlich durchgerungen hat in Gebet um Gnade und Erleuchtung, wird es ihm leichtfallen, das wiederzugeben, was Gott ihm kundgetan hat. Und dies ist die Aufgabe derer, die Gottes Stimme zu hören vermögen. Sie sollen reden, was Gott zu ihnen geredet hat; sie sollen das göttliche Wort verbreiten in der Welt; sie sollen sich üben, dieses Wort auch zu leben, d.h. mit der Tat beweisen, daß es in das Herz eingedrungen ist, und so der Gebende und Lehrende selbst das befolgt, was er predigt, so wird er Glauben finden unter den Menschen und also auch zum Segen der Menschheit wirken können. Und das ist der Wille Gottes, daß durch Menschenmund Sein Wort verbreitet wird.... es ist Sein Wille, daß sich auf der Erde vereine, die gleichen Strebens sind.... Er will, daß sie einander Stärke und Trost geben sollen in der kommenden Zeit, die schweres Leid über die Menschen bringen wird, die aber auch die Hilfe Gottes erkennen läßt....

Help from above in times of spiritual need....

From time to time humanity needs an extraordinary influx of help from above, for the spiritual low is having a threatening effect and, if God did not want to help people, the whole of humanity would tear itself apart in mutual hatred and unkindness. As soon as love cools down among people, they are capable of anything, and it is this spirit of unkindness that is the cause of the great suffering on earth. If God did not want to come to people in His love and give His wealth of love to those who are still in love, the earth would truly soon only be the scene of the worst deeds. But where unkindness is banished the voice of God is perceptible, and this voice informs that there is a God Who lovingly takes care of people. God Himself makes Himself known in the word, God Himself lets spiritual nourishment flow down to earth, and this is a means to reduce unkindness amongst people. Many a person will be perplexed by the proclamations if he is serious about scrutinizing them. And if the recipient has earnestly persevered in prayer for grace and enlightenment, it will be easy for him to return what God has revealed to him. And this is the task of those who are able to hear God's voice. They should speak what God has spoken to them; they should spread the divine word in the world; they should practice living this word, i.e. prove by deed that it has penetrated the heart, and if the giver and teacher himself follows what he preaches he will find faith among people and thus also be able to work for the blessing of humanity. And this is God's will that His word should be spread through the mouth of man.... It is His will that those on earth who share the same aspirations should unite.... He wants them to give each other strength and comfort in the coming time, which will bring severe suffering to people but which will also let them recognize God's help....
