Elke ontwikkelingsfase is eenmalig in een verlossingsperiode

De wetten van GOD zijn sedert eeuwigheid vastgelegd, en volgens die wetten voltrekt zich de gehele opwaartse ontwikkeling in het materiële als in het geestelijke rijk. Er bestaan scheppingen in de menigvuldigste soort, zowel stoffelijk als ook geestelijk. En al deze scheppingen hebben alleen de bedoeling, het geestelijke dat ver van GOD verwijderd is weer tot HEM terug te leiden. Maar elk stadium van ontwikkeling is verschillend, zoals ook afzonderlijke scheppingen geheel verschillend zijn. Dus zijn deze scheppingen volgens hun aard steeds aangepast aan de rijpheidsgraad van dat geestelijke waarvoor ze tot verblijfplaats zullen dienen.

Er is altijd sprake van een opwaartse ontwikkeling van het geestelijke, zodra dit in de "je moet" toestand door de materiële schepping gaat. Een stilstand of een achteruitgang in de ontwikkeling kan plaats vinden in het laatste stadium van de materiële schepping, als mens. Daarna echter komt het geestelijke onherroepelijk in het rijk hierna waar geen stoffelijke scheppingen meer zijn. Maar ook dan kan er een stilstand of teruggang op te merken zijn, omdat ook in het geestelijke rijk het wezen zijn vrije wil behoudt, die alleen uiterst verzwakt is als het wezen slechts een geringe rijpheidsgraad heeft bereikt. Evenals in het aardse leven hangt echter de opwaartse ontwikkeling af van werkzaamzaamheid, wat voor de mensen op de aarde onbegrijpelijk is en ook blijven zal. Zij begrijpen de betekenis er niet van want zij denken dat welk werk dan ook, afhankelijk is van aardse scheppingen. Zij geloven dat er voor elke bezigheid aardse, d.w.z. stoffelijke scheppingen nodig zijn. En tengevolge daarvan verdedigen zij de opvatting dat de ziel weer in die sfeer terug komt, waarin zij tevoren haar opwaartse ontwikkeling negeerde. Dat zij dus weer tot de aarde terug keert om daar voort te zetten waar zij opgehouden is, zodat de ziel dus haar onderbroken ontwikkelingsgang altijd weer kan herhalen, tot uiteindelijke voltooiing.

En deze veronderstelling leidt tot een leer die niet volgens de waarheid is maar overal bijval vindt en overal verspreid is: tot de leer van de reïncarnatie op de aarde. Slechts heel weinig mensen kunnen begrijpen hoe schadelijk deze leer is voor de mensheid, als zij niet weerlegd en rechtgezet wordt.

Want daardoor wordt in zekere mate de wet van GOD omvergeworpen, want volgens het plan van de goddelijke Wijsheid moet alles vooruitgaan, wil het hoger komen. De her-belichaming van de ziel op de aarde zou een averechtse ontwikkeling betekenen die van GOD zou uitgaan, dus Zijn wet geheel zou tegenspreken, die een gestadige vooruitgang eist. Het wezen kan zich zelf uit vrije wil wel negatief ontwikkelen, maar het wordt nooit door GOD's Wil teruggeplaatst in een toestand die het reeds eenmaal heeft overwonnen. Nooit mag dus het wezen naar eigen verkiezing een proces herhalen waarin het tevoren gefaald heeft. Het heeft nog vele duizenden mogelijkheden zich verder te ontwikkelen, altijd echter op andere scheppingen en onder andere voorwaarden.

Teaching of re-incarnation is misguided.... Law....

The divine laws are eternally unchanging, and all higher development in the physical as well as in the spiritual kingdom takes place in accordance with these laws. Physical and spiritual creations of the most diverse variety exist. And their only purpose is to guide the spirit which is distant from God back to Him. Yet every stage of development is as different as are the individual creations. Thus they will always be inhabited by spirits whose degree of maturity matches their nature. There will always be a progressive development as long as the spirit moves through the physical creation in a compulsory state.... However, a standstill or decline of development can occur during the final stage of the physical creation as human being.... but at the end of human life the spirit will irrevocably enter the beyond where no further physical creations exist. But even in the spiritual realm a standstill or decline can occur because the being retains its free will which is, however, considerably weakened if it has only achieved a low degree of maturity. Similar to earthly life, higher development in the spiritual realm also depends on activity, and this activity is and has to remain completely ambiguous to people on earth as they cannot comprehend its significance but which, on the other hand, depends on earthly creations.

In effect, people believe that every activity necessitates earthly, i.e. physical, creations. Consequently they support the view that the soul will return to the realm where it formerly had neglected its higher development, that it will return to earth to carry on where it had left off.... that it can repeat its interrupted progress of development anytime until final perfection.... And this assumption leads to a teaching which does not comply with the truth but which finds approval everywhere and is therefore widespread.... to the teaching of re-incarnation on earth.... Only few people understand the disastrous effects of this teaching for humanity if it is not disproved and corrected. This teaching, in a way, overrules the divine law that, in accordance with the plan of divine wisdom, everything must advance if it wants to progress. Re-incarnation on earth would be a regression for the soul approved by God, thus it would completely contradict the divine law which commands and demonstrates consistent progress. Although the being itself can indeed voluntarily descend but God’s will would never return it to a state which it had already overcome once before. And it will never be permitted to arbitrarily repeat a course of action which it had previously failed. For it still has thousands upon thousands of opportunities to develop further but they always take place on different creations and under completely different conditions....
