About the origin of evil....

Surely you don't believe that I will instruct you wrongly if you so sincerely appeal to Me for truth. Remember My Words 'If you, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children.... how much more shall I give My spirit to them that ask Me?....' Hence you do not write down your own thoughts but they are given to you by My spirit, and always in a way so that you can also understand the meaning, so that you need not fear that you are being misled. The information you receive from above has to be clear and understandable for everyone, it must not include contradictions and completely openly describe My nature so that not even the slightest doubt will arise in you.... You, who live on earth as a human being, are the spiritual beings which once fell away from Me.... Your thinking became confused due to your apostasy from Me, you accepted all evil characteristics from My adversary.... Your nature became ungodly, thus it was in contradiction to Mine.... These ungodly qualities had to be eliminated from you again, which was achieved by the infinitely long path through the creations. Hence you had already attained a certain degree of maturity when you were allowed to incarnate on earth. But then, in your state of awareness, you also realised.... with good will.... your great distance from Me and therefore had to overcome your bad characteristics yourselves which, however, I Myself had not implanted in you but which, as a result of your apostasy from Me through My adversary's influence, were still inherent in you.... you had to bear the consequences since you voluntarily accepted that which is evil from My adversary.... This truth will irrevocably remain.... I Myself certainly created you such that you were able to feel what was good and what was bad.... I Myself created you such that you were able to desire good as well as bad.... But I did not compel you to accept evil within yourselves, nevertheless you desired it with the result that you still incorporate all evil instincts within yourselves in earthly life which My adversary once transferred onto you, and that you have to fight against and finally prevail over them.... You cannot assume that I Myself was the origin of evil, otherwise you would have to regard the whole plan of Salvation as a defective piece of work although it was, in fact, a work of supreme perfection. At no time ever can something originate from Me which I classify as a sin against Me. Consequently, if you have sinned you must have violated My law of eternal order and you must.... as far it is possible for you.... atone for your sin in earthly life yourselves. But you can never say that I Myself created you the way you are now as a human being.... if you refer to the flaws and vices you have to fight against. This contradiction is so obvious that you should have recognised it as such and rejected it. Indeed, I created the human being but the essence is the soul which was already able to repel many ungodly qualities during the infinitely long process before. It is the once fallen original spirit which still has to bear the consequences of its apostasy until it is redeemed from its original sin, but which nevertheless has to deal with the cravings My adversary implanted in it in order to completely unite itself with Me, its Father of eternity, from Whom it once emerged in a supremely perfect state.... My Word from above is truly given to you such that it is comprehensible to you, and nothing else is expected of you other than that you accept it as truth.... Yet I wisely left the scribe in ignorance of the Scriptures so as not to cloud his perception and only to transcribe that which I consider of great significant in view of the end, because precisely these questions will be the cause of heated discussions. However, it should not be underestimated that people rather choose to believe in a supremely perfect God and that every virtuous person feels repulsed to imagine God as the bearer of evil too.

The point is that I don't want to gain worldly scholars but those who are of good will. But how can the many quotations be explained from which the reader derives the impression that I Myself can be compared with evil.... This is a satanic question and an opportunity where he can most easily slip in.... and the human being's will only too gladly fits in with his will.... No one else is better suited to being of assistance to him than My John when Satan asked him the same question.... (Bishop Martin, chapter 197-198) And thus My John will now get to work by igniting a bright light for you which no-one will be able to extinguish. He will explain the contradiction to you which, however, is no contradiction.... All His beings emerged from God, therefore he did too, the greatest and most powerful spirit, whom He created for Himself in order to possess a mirror image of Himself into which He was able to constantly radiate His strength of love and which was also returned. Hence He created an image of Himself which He endowed with all abilities so that there was no difference between Him and the created work other than the fact that He Himself was the source of strength but His creation was the recipient of strength. Therefore the first-created spirit.... Lucifer or the bearer of light.... was also 'emanated strength' which was externalised by God as the first visible being and which afterwards also remained visible for all successive beings until his fall. However, it was not yet God's opposite pole, for it neither possessed anti-divine characteristics nor anti-divine feelings, instead it was aglow with burning love for Him sharing the same will as God's will. Here, too, satanic cunning is instantly recognizable: the fact that he transfers the moment of apostasy from God to the act of creation in order to portray God as being responsible and himself as being 'created in this way'. After all, think about this seriously: How can an opposite spirit to God.... hence one which is different from God Himself.... not be called anti-divine? In other words, how can a true opposite.... thus being different than God Himself.... not be called ungodly? Lucifer only became His opposing spirit after an incredibly long time.... when, motivated by the host of created original spirits, he began to change his will and thinking capacity.

Yet this infinitely long act of beatitude preceded his apostasy and these ungodly characteristics emerged out of him, and it was not that God had placed them into the created being, which could only have been created as God's mirror image.... This advice, too, was necessary in order to provide utter clarification that it was not God Who was the source of sin and that, without any doubt whatsoever, His works emerged from His love and therefore could not have been anything else but perfect.... i.e. good in supreme perfection. You must be able to understand the revelations from above, or you must assume that you are already externally influenced if something incomprehensible is offered to you. For God conveys His Word to Earth in order to enlighten you, and only where you really receive light will you also be able to recognise God Himself as the source, but then you will also know for certain that you are living in truth.... because He will not leave those in spiritual darkness who entrust themselves to Him and appeal to Him to receive the truth....

Over de oorsprong van het kwade

Als u zo innig om de waarheid vraagt, zult u toch niet geloven dat IK u verkeerd onderricht. Gedenk Mijn Woorden: "Als gij, die slecht zijt goede gaven aan uw kinderen geeft, hoeveel meer zal IK dan, uw VADER in de Hemel, aan hen Mijn GEEST geven die MIJ erom vragen"!. Het zijn dus niet uw eigen gedachten die u neerschrijft, maar Mijn GEEST geeft ze u in, en altijd zo, dat u de betekenis begrijpen kunt, dat u niet hoeft te vrezen misleid te worden. Wat van boven tot u komt, moet duidelijk en voor iedereen begrijpelijk zijn, in zich geen tegenstrijdigheden bevatten en geheel onverholen u Mijn WEZEN beschrijven, zodat u niet de geringste twijfel in u voelt opkomen.

U, die als mens op de aarde vertoeft, u bent dat eens van MIJ afgevallen geestelijke. Door uw afval van MIJ raakte uw denken verward. U nam van Mijn tegenstander alle slechte eigenschappen aan, die niet van MIJ Zelf zijn uitgegaan maar van Mijn tegenstander. Uw wezen bleef niet goddelijk, dus kwam het tegenover MIJ te staan. Deze niet-goddelijke eigenschappen moesten uit u verwijderd worden, waarvoor de eindeloos lange gang door de scheppingen diende.

U had al een zekere rijpheid bereikt toen u zich op de aarde mocht belichamen. Maar nu, in bewuste staat, beseft u met een goede wil de grote afstand tot MIJ, en dus moet u al uw slechte eigenschappen zelf overwinnen, die IK Zelf echter niet in u gelegd heb maar die als gevolg van uw afval van MIJ, door de inwerking van Mijn tegenstander, nog in u waren. U zelf had de gevolgen ervan te dragen omdat u zelf vrijwillig het kwaad van Mijn tegenstander had aangenomen.

Deze waarheid blijft onherroepelijk bestaan. IK Zelf heb u wel zo geschapen dat u kon ervaren wat goed en wat slecht was. IK Zelf had u zo geschapen dat u zowel naar het goede als ook naar het kwade verlangen kon. IK heb u er echter niet toe gebracht dat u het kwade in u moest opnemen. Maar uw verlangen was erop gericht en de gevolgen ervan zijn, dat u al die slechte neigingen in het aardse leven nog in u hebt die Mijn tegenstander eens op u overdroeg, en dat u hier tegen moet strijden en ze ten laatste zou moeten overwinnen.

U kunt niet aannemen dat het kwade van MIJ is uitgegaan, daar u anders het gehele scheppingsplan als een knoeiwerk zou moeten bezien, dat echter een werk van hoogste Volmaaktheid geweest is.

Nooit kan iets in MIJ zijn oorsprong hebben wat IK als "zonde tegen MIJ" bestempel. Als u dus gezondigd hebt, dan moet u ook in strijd met Mijn wet van eeuwige orde gehandeld hebben en u moet uw zondeschuld, zo ver u dit mogelijk is, zelf aflossen in het aardse leven. Maar u kunt nooit zeggen dat IK Zelf u zo geschapen heb zoals u nu als mens bent, als u daarmee de fouten en gebreken bedoelt waarmee u te kampen hebt.

Deze tegenspraak is zo opvallend dat u die als zodanig had moeten inzien en afwijzen. IK schiep wel de mens, maar het eigenlijke is de ziel, die al veel van het niet-geestelijke kon afstoten tijdens de eindeloze gang tevoren. Ze is de oergeest die eens gevallen is en de gevolgen van zijn afval nog te dragen heeft - tot hij verlost is van zijn oerschuld, maar toch nog met de begeerten die Mijn tegenstander in hem gelegd heeft moet afrekenen, om zich geheel te kunnen verenigen met MIJ, zijn VADER van eeuwigheid, uit WIE hij hoogst volmaakt is voortgekomen.

Mijn Woord van boven wordt u waarlijk zo gegeven dat het voor u begrijpelijk is, en er wordt van u niets anders verlangd dan dat u het als waarheid aanneemt. Doch IK heb wijselijk voor de schrijver de kennis van de geschriften verborgen gehouden, om diens blik niet te vertroebelen en alleen dat neer te schrijven wat IK voor heel belangrijk houd, lettend op het einde, omdat juist deze vragen aanleiding zullen geven tot heftige debatten. Doch een ding kan niet miskend worden, dat de mensen liever ertoe overgaan om in een GOD te geloven DIE hoogst volmaakt is, en dat ieder goed mens voelt dat het hem tegen de borst stuit zich in GOD ook de drager van het kwade voor te stellen. En het gaat erom dat IK niet de wereldwijzen winnen wil - maar hen, die van goede wil zijn.

Hoe echter zijn de vele bijbelplaatsen te verklaren, waaruit de lezer afleidt MIJ Zelf met het kwade te kunnen confronteren? Bij deze duivelse gelegenheid kan hij het beste binnensluipen en al te graag gaat hier de menselijke wil op zijn wil in. Niemand verkeert in de positie hem de waarheid te zeggen zoals Mijn Johannes dit gedaan heeft, toen satan hem diezelfde vraag stelde. (Jakob Lorber/Bisschop Martinus 197, 198) Zo is Mijn Johannes ook nu aan het werk u, mensen een helder licht te ontsteken dat niemand kan uitdoven. En hij zal u ook nu de tegenstrijdigheid ophelderen die echter geen tegenstrijdigheid is.

Vanuit GOD zijn al Zijn wezens voortgekomen, dus ook hij, de grootste en machtigste geest,(Lucifer) die HIJ Zelf Zich schiep om in hem een afspiegeling van Zich Zelf te hebben, in wie HIJ onophoudelijk de Kracht van Zijn Liefde kon stralen, en van wie HIJ ook deze liefdekracht terug ontving. HIJ schiep Zich dus een evenbeeld dat HIJ precies zo uitrustte met alle vermogens, zodat tussen HEM en het scheppingswerk geen onderscheid was dan dat, dat HIJZelf de Bron van Kracht, zijn schepsel echter de ontvanger van die Kracht was. Zodoende was de eerst geschapen Geest, Lucifer ofwel Lichtdrager, ook "uitgestraalde Kracht" die als het eerste zichtbare wezen door GOD buiten GOD Zelf werd geplaatst - en dat dan voor alle erna volgende wezens ook zichtbaar bleef tot zijn afval.

Maar dit wezen was toen nog geen tegenpool van GOD, want het had noch aan GOD tegenstrijdige eigenschappen, noch een aan GOD tegenstrijdig gevoelen. Integendeel, het was in vurige liefde tot HEM ontvlamd en zijn wil was net zo gericht als GOD's Wil. Ook hier is weer de duivelse list onmiskenbaar: dat hij het tijdstip van de afval van GOD verplaatst naar de scheppingsdaad, om juist GOD als de verantwoordelijke en hij zichzelf als "zo geschapen" voor te stellen. Want denk hier serieus over na: Hoe kan een "gerechtvaardigde tegenstelling" van GOD, die dus anders is dan GOD Zelf, "niet ongoddelijk" zijn? (Leopold Engel, Ev.11, hfdst.l5, alinea 6) Hij is pas tot Zijn tegengestelde geworden na ondenkbaar lange tijd, nadat hij, door het leger van eerstgeschapen oergeesten aangespoord, zijn wil en denkvermogen begon te veranderen. Maar dit eeuwige tijden durende gelukzalig zijn is aan zijn val voorafgegaan en zijn deze ongoddelijke eigenschappen uit hem voortgekomen, maar niet, dat GOD ze in het geschapen wezen zou hebben gelegd, dat juist alleen maar als GOD's evenbeeld geschapen kon zijn. Ook deze vingerwijzing was nodig om volledige duidelijkheid daarover te verschaffen; dat niet GOD de veroorzaker van de zonde is geweest en Zijn (scheppings) werken zonder enige twijfel vanuit Zijn Liefde waren voortgebracht en daarom niet anders dan volkomen, d.w.z. goed in de hoogste volmaaktheid, moesten zijn.

U moet de openbaringen van boven begrijpen kunnen, daar u anders wel een vreemde invloed zult moeten aannemen wanneer u iets onbegrijpelijks wordt aangeboden. Want daarom stuurt GOD Zijn Woord naar de aarde om u een licht te geven, en alleen indien u werkelijk licht ontvangt, zult u ook GOD Zelf als de Gever kunnen herkennen. Maar dan weet u ook dat u heel zeker in de waarheid wandelt, omdat HIJ diegenen niet in de duisternis van geest laat, die zich aan HEM toevertrouwen en HEM vragen de waarheid te sturen.
