Spiritualization of immature substances....

All sufferings and hardships of the body contribute to the spiritualisation of the still immature substances. Therefore you should bear everything with surrender, for it is only for the salvation of your soul. Your body still carries much immature spiritual substance within itself, for all matter is a carrier of spiritual substances which are still in the early stages of their development. And it is certainly possible for you to spiritualize the substances of the body during your earthly life so that they can join the soul and pass over into the kingdom of the beyond at the end of your physical life. Yet only rarely does a person succeed in this full spiritualization, because it presupposes a life of love which requires the complete abandonment of the ego and only rarely does a person reach this high degree of love on earth. Yet much is already gained when the body submits to the will of the soul, which allows itself to be determined by the spirit within to want, think and act.... And if the body also submits to the spirit's desire, so that it complies with the soul's desire, then the body's substances will also become spiritualized.... especially when illness and suffering affect this unspiritual substance and it becomes increasingly purified.... which is why a certain blessing rests on such states of the body which sometimes cause it pain.... Time and again unspiritual urges are thereby repelled and the soul crystallises more and more, and one can also speak of the spiritualization of the body, even if this does not yet happen completely during earthly life. Yet believe that every illness and every suffering will have a favourable effect on your soul if you don't rebel against fate.... if you humbly bear your fate, which was never imposed on you without purpose. You will not be able to deny that the body still has immature substances and thus these substances will always cause you pain; and only rarely will a person succeed in establishing complete order within himself, even though this is the actual task in earthly life.... But he is and remains weak, and the most intimate connection with the source of strength from eternity is necessary for this.... i.e., the human being must be so filled with love that the eternal love Itself is constantly in him.... because then he will have a measure of strength at his disposal which will also enable him to succeed in the spiritualization of all substances oppressing the body. Yet the human being can already consider himself fortunate if he succeeds in purifying his soul during earthly life so that it can be permeated by the divine light of love, so that it is receptive to light when it enters the kingdom of the beyond. And this purification of the soul is also achieved through suffering and illness if love is not so brightly kindled that it brings about the maturing of the soul. Therefore you humans should not complain and grumble even if you are physically burdened, for everything only serves you towards perfection.... And a soul's degree of light can vary so much on its entry into the kingdom of the beyond.... And every suffering on earth contributes to the increase of the degree of light, provided that the human being himself strives to attain maturity of soul, that he seriously strives for perfection.... And therefore you should also be grateful for the suffering and not believe that you have to endure it as punishment. It is only a means of purification, for the fact that there are still unfaithful substances in you is already rooted in your physical outer shell, which consists of immature spiritual substances.... But this spiritual substance can also develop more quickly, it can reach maturity more quickly precisely through such purification means. And one day you will also recognize the blessing of what was imposed on you in earthly life.... And you will only be grateful for the loving care which you will also recognize in it. For one day the light will shine for you and you will forget all adversity which lies behind you.... and you will be blissfully happy in the light....

Vergeistigung unreifer Substanzen....

Alle Leiden und Nöte des Körpers tragen zur Vergeistigung der noch unreifen Substanzen bei.... Darum sollet ihr alles mit Ergebung tragen, denn es ist nur zum Heil eurer Seele. Euer Körper trägt noch viel unausgereiftes Geistiges in sich, denn jegliche Materie ist Träger des Geistigen, das noch im Anfang seiner Entwicklung steht. Und es ist euch wohl während des Erdenlebens möglich, auch die Substanzen des Körpers zu vergeistigen, daß sie sich der Seele anschließen können und bei Beendigung des Leibeslebens mit hinübergehen können in das jenseitige Reich. Doch selten nur gelingt diese volle Vergeistigung einem Menschen, weil sie ein Liebeleben voraussetzt, das völliges Aufgeben des Ichs erfordert und selten nur ein Mensch diesen hohen Liebegrad auf Erden erreicht.... Doch viel ist schon gewonnen, wenn sich der Körper dem Willen der Seele unterstellt, die vom Geist in sich zu ihrem Wollen, Denken und Handeln sich bestimmen läßt.... Und schließt sich nun der Körper gleichfalls dem Verlangen des Geistes an, daß er also dem Begehren der Seele nachkommt, dann werden sich auch die Substanzen des Körpers vergeistigen.... besonders dann, wenn Krankheit und Leid auf dieses Ungeistige einwirken und es sich immer mehr läutert.... weshalb auch ein gewisser Segen auf solchen Zuständen des Körpers ruht, die ihm zuweilen Pein bereiten.... Immer wieder werden dadurch ungeistige Triebe abgestoßen, und immer mehr kristallisiert sich die Seele, und es kann auch von der Vergeistigung des Körpers gesprochen werden, auch wenn dies noch nicht restlos geschieht während des Erdenlebens. Doch glaubet es, daß jede Krankheit und jedes Leid sich für eure Seele günstig auswirken wird, wenn ihr euch nicht aufbäumt gegen das Schicksal.... wenn ihr ergeben euer Los traget, das niemals zwecklos euch auferlegt wurde. Daß der Körper noch unreife Substanzen aufzuweisen hat, werdet ihr nicht leugnen können und also werden diese Substanzen euch immer Pein bereiten; und selten nur wird es einem Menschen gelingen, völlige Ordnung in sich herzustellen, wenngleich dies die eigentliche Aufgabe im Erdenleben ist.... Aber er ist und bleibt schwach, und es gehört die innigste Verbindung mit dem Kraftquell von Ewigkeit dazu.... d.h., es muß der Mensch so liebeerfüllt sein, daß die Ewige Liebe Selbst ständig in ihm ist.... weil er dann über ein Maß von Kraft verfügt, daß ihm auch die Vergeistigung aller den Körper bedrängenden Substanzen gelingt. Doch glücklich kann sich der Mensch schon preisen, wenn ihm die Entschlackung seiner Seele gelingt während des Erdenlebens, so daß sie durchstrahlt werden kann mit dem göttlichen Liebelicht, daß sie lichtempfänglich ist, wenn sie in das jenseitige Reich eingeht. Und diese Entschlackung der Seele wird ebenfalls durch Leid und Krankheit erreicht, wenn nicht die Liebe so hell entflammt ist, daß sie das Ausreifen der Seele zustande bringt. Darum sollet ihr Menschen nicht klagen und murren, wenn ihr auch körperlich belastet seid, denn alles dienet euch nur zur Vollendung.... Und der Lichtgrad einer Seele kann von so verschiedener Stärke sein bei ihrem Eintritt in das jenseitige Reich.... Und jedes Leid auf Erden trägt zur Erhöhung des Lichtgrades bei, vorausgesetzt, daß der Mensch selbst bemüht ist, zur Seelenreife zu gelangen, daß er ernstlich nach Vollendung strebt.... Und darum sollet ihr auch dankbar sein für das Leid, und ihr sollet nicht glauben, daß ihr dieses ertragen müsset als Strafe. Es ist nur ein Läuterungsmittel, denn daß noch unlautere Substanzen in euch sind, das ist schon in eurer körperlichen Außenhülle begründet, die aus unreifem Geistigen besteht.... Aber auch dieses Geistige kann einen schnelleren Entwicklungsgang zurücklegen, es kann schneller zur Reife gelangen eben durch solche Läuterungsmittel. Und einmal werdet ihr auch den Segen dessen erkennen, was euch im Erdenleben zu tragen auferlegt war.... Und ihr werdet nur dankbar sein für die liebevolle Fürsorge, die ihr auch darin erkennen werdet. Denn einmal wird euch das Licht erstrahlen, und ihr werdet alles Ungemach vergessen, das hinter euch liegt.... und ihr werdet selig sein im Licht....
