Origin of the creation work 'earth'....
The path of the spirits across the earth will extend into eternity.... For the spirits themselves became the matter which earth and all its creations consist of.... God's will turned solidified spiritual substance into matter, thus the whole of the creation work earth.... as well as all creations in the entire universe.... is God's once emanated strength which He externalised as a 'being' but which so changed itself that it finally became mere hardened substance, which was then transformed into creations of all kinds.
This took place over an infinitely long period of time, because the 'transformation' also occurred in lawful order, the rise of what is now visible as 'inhabited earth' happened during countless phases of development.... it was not an instantly externalised work of God's creative power.... since even the slow development served its purpose.... Time and again minutely disintegrated spiritual particles were captured and reshaped, the process took an inconceivably long time before earth had formed itself into a work of creation which could serve as an abode and sustain physical life for the constantly maturing spiritual substance, as it was designated by God's eternal plan of Salvation. And even this spiritual substance took an endless time before it reached the degree when it was allowed to live as a human being on earth for the purpose of its final perfection.
This last earthly progress as a human being is but a moment in time compared with the infinitely long period of the earth's preliminary development.... Although the creation of every form was indeed the work of an instant for God, because His will and His strength externalised every thought as an existing work.... yet the resistance of the once fallen spirits determined the length of time until their physical transformation. For God did not force this spiritual substance but His strength of love captured it until its resistance had somewhat subsided in order to then encase it in accordance with His plan, to then shape it into various forms where it would perform some kind of activity which was so minimal that, again, an infinitely long time passed before these forms could gradually disintegrate and change....
The development of earth took ages until it could be inhabited by living beings, and these, in turn, prepared the earth for yet another inconceivably long time to become suitable for serving human beings as a last place of development.... The tiny individual particles of the human soul, however, had passed through all creations.... The fall from the highest pinnacle into the abyss had taken so long that thus an equally long time had been necessary to ascend from the abyss to the point when the being could receive its self-awareness again, that this final perfection then made it possible to travel the last path of ascent. But for the time being the creation had emerged, and this incorporates the innumerable fallen spirits whose return to God will subsequently also take an infinitely long time, hence an end of creation cannot be foreseen as yet....
Nevertheless, the 'creations' exist and everything will take its lawful course.... They are brought to life by ever new minute particles of spirit whose higher development takes place by way of constantly changing their outer form, and thus a continuous developing and disintegrating of every material creation can be observed.... All works of creation repeatedly renew themselves in this manner and thus serve the inherent spirit to achieve maturity, just as they serve humanity's continued development by safeguarding their physical life an earth. As long as the spirits bound in the creations do not have free will their path of higher development proceeds in accordance with God's will.... the constrained spiritual substance serves in some form or other and thereby matures gradually.... But as soon as the spirit lives on earth as a human being it is once again in possession of free will and then it is able.... instead of continuing to ascend.... to stop its development or to regress again. During the final period of its process of development it is able to fail.... And this regression can lead to the result that the spirit in the human being.... the 'soul' or the once 'fallen original spirit'.... will harden again as before. The outcome will be a disintegration of the soul into countless minute particles again which will have to take the path through the material creations once more.... And this process, which has now become necessary again, also requires the disintegration and transformation of all works of creation.... which can be described as the end of one earthly period and the start of a new one.
And thus you humans should try to explain it to yourselves, that such periodically enforced processes of transformation concerning the creation work earth will take place in accordance with God's will. They are always based on God's love and wisdom and only ever serve the redemption of the once fallen spirits.... And you need to also be prepared for such interventions by God when people no longer recognise the true purpose of their existence, when they thus do not use their earthly life for the maturing of their souls, for their final perfection. For the sole purpose of every work of creation is to bring the human soul into maturity, to help it become what it once was in the beginning.... a supremely perfect being, which originated from God's love but voluntarily apostatised from Him.... It shall return to Him again, and God Himself has provided it with the path of return through all the creations on earth....

Het ontstaan van het scheppingswerk "aarde"
De gang van het geestelijke over de aarde strekt zich uit over eeuwigheden. Want het geestelijke zelf werd tot materie waaruit de aarde en alle scheppingen bestaan. Verharde geestelijke substantie werd door de wil van God tot materie. Zodoende is het gehele scheppingswerk "aarde" alsook alle scheppingen in het gehele universum, de eens door God uitgestraalde geestelijke kracht die als "essentie" door Hem werd uitgestraald, in zichzelf echter zo veranderde, dat ze tenslotte enkel nog maar verharde geestelijke substantie was die nu omgevormd werd tot scheppingen van allerlei aard.
Eindeloze tijden zijn daarvoor nodig geweest, want ook deze omvorming gebeurde in de wettelijke orde. De ontwikkeling van wat nu als bewoonde aarde zichtbaar is, heeft in talloze ontwikkelingsperioden plaats gevonden. Het was geen plotselinge uit God voortgekomen daad van Zijn scheppingsmacht. Want ook deze langzame ontwikkeling had zijn bedoeling. Er werden steeds weer opgeloste geestelijke partikeltjes gevangen en omgevormd. Het was een wordingsproces van ondenkbaar lange tijdsduur, voordat de aarde gevormd was tot een scheppingswerk dat voor het steeds rijper wordende geestelijke tot verblijfplaats en tot een leven in overeenstemming met de natuur kon dienen, zoals het in Gods eeuwig heilsplan was voorzien. En ook dit geestelijke had eindeloze tijden nodig tot het die graad bereikt had waarin het dan als mens over de aarde mocht gaan, met het doel van een laatste voltooiing.
Deze laatste gang over de aarde als mens is maar een moment, in vergelijking met de eeuwig lange tijd van de eerdere ontwikkeling op aarde. Voor God was weliswaar de schepping van iedere vorm het werk van een ogenblik, want door Zijn wil en kracht zet Hij elke gedachte die Hij buiten zich plaatst om, als een bestaand werk. Maar de tegenstand van het eens gevallen geestelijke bepaalde de tijdsduur tot aan de materiële omvorming, want God dwong het Hem weerstrevende geestelijke niet, maar Zijn liefdeskracht nam het zolang gevangen tot het zijn weerstand wat opgaf, om het dan te omhullen naar Zijn plan. Om het dan een of andere vorm te geven waarin het dan een bepaalde werkzaamheid verrichtte die echter zo minimaal was, dat weer eeuwige tijden voorbij gingen tot deze vormen weer langzaam konden oplossen en veranderen.
Voor het ontstaan van de aarde waren dus eindeloos lange tijden nodig, voordat ze door levende wezens kon worden bewoond. En deze wederom maakten de aarde ervoor geschikt na weer een eindeloos lange tijd de mensen als laatste ontwikkelingsoord te dienen. Maar de menselijke ziel was in al haar partikeltjes door de scheppingen heen gegaan. De val in de diepte uit de hoogste hoogte was zo eindeloos geweest dat er ook weer zo'n lange tijd nodig was om uit deze diepte weer zo ver omhoog te stijgen, tot het zelfbewustzijn het wezen weer gegeven kon worden dat nu zijn laatste voltooiing, de laatste gang omhoog mogelijk maakt. Bijgevolg was de schepping nu ontstaan en deze bergt nu dat gevallen geestelijke in een ontelbare hoeveelheid in zich, en dit zal voor zijn terugkeer tot God ook eindeloze tijden nodig hebben. Zodoende is het einde van de schepping nog niet te voorzien.
Maar de "scheppingen" bestaan nu en alles gaat wetmatig zijn weg. Ze worden door steeds nieuwe geestelijke deeltjes bewoond die voortdurend van uiterlijke vorm veranderen en zich steeds verder opwaarts ontwikkelen. Daarom is er ook een voortdurend ontstaan en vergaan van elke materiële schepping te zien. Op die manier worden altijd weer al de scheppingswerken vernieuwd en dienen zo tot uitrijping van het daarin geborgen geestelijke, zoals ze ook de mens tot verdere ontwikkeling dienen, daar zij hem het lichamelijke leven op aarde waarborgen. Zolang het in de scheppingen gebonden geestelijke de vrije wil is afgenomen, gaat ook de opwaartse ontwikkeling zijn door God gewilde weg. Het gebonden geestelijke is dienstig in een of andere vorm en rijpt daardoor langzaam uit.
Zodra echter het geestelijke in het stadium als "mens" over de aarde gaat, bezit het weer de vrije wil en kan in plaats van opwaarts te klimmen ook stil blijven staan of zelfs weer achteruitgaan. Het kan in gebreke blijven in de laatste tijd van zijn ontwikkelingsgang. En deze achteruitgang kan ook daartoe leiden dat het geestelijke in de mens, de ziel, de eens gevallen oer-geest, weer in de geestelijke substantie verhardt als voorheen. Met het noodzakelijke gevolg: het nogmaals ontbinden van de ziel in talloze partikeltjes wat dan weer de gang door de materiële scheppingen vereist. En deze nu noodzakelijk geworden ontwikkelingsgang vereist ook weer een ontbinden en omvormen van scheppingswerken van allerlei soort, wat als beëindiging van een aardse periode en het begin van een nieuwe gezien kan worden.
En zo moet u mensen ook proberen te begrijpen dat in de door God vastgestelde tijdsperioden zich aan het scheppingswerk "aarde" zulke gewelddadige omvormingswerken voltrekken, die echter altijd op Gods liefde en wijsheid gegrond zijn en die altijd dienen tot verlossing van het eens gevallen geestelijke. En u moet ook altijd met zo'n ingreep van Gods zijde rekening houden, wanneer de mensen het ware doel van hun bestaan niet meer beseffen. Wanneer zij dus hun aardse leven niet benutten voor het rijpen van hun zielen, voor de laatste voltooiing. Want dit is het enige doel van elk scheppingswerk, dat het de ziel van de mens tot voltooiing brengt, dat het de ziel helpt weer te worden wat zij vanaf het allereerste begin was, namelijk een hoogst volmaakt wezen dat uit Gods liefde is ontstaan, maar in vrije wil van Hem is afgevallen. Het moet weer tot Hem terugkeren en met de gang door al de scheppingen van deze aarde heeft God zelf voor hem de weg geschapen, die de ziel weer terugvoert.
