'I Am the bread of life, the manna which comes down from Heaven....'

Don't be satisfied by merely feeding yourselves in an earthly way, by providing the body with the bread you require in order to live, rather desire the bread of heaven instead, which is nourishment for your soul.... And believe Me, in an emergency the latter will also be able to maintain the body, but the former will never serve the soul in its higher development.... This is why I have said 'I Am the bread of life, the manna which comes down from Heaven....' For if you digest Me Myself.... My Word.... you will live in eternity. Yet your body will cease to exist even if you constantly feed it with earthly food. It is given its time, and when this is over no earthly nourishment will help in order to keep it alive. For this reason you should be more concerned with bestowing life to your soul, you should incessantly feed it with the bread of Heaven, you should make the nourishment available to it, which can only be offered to it from Me. Therefore, you should approach Me directly and appeal to Me for true nourishment and true refreshment. And always remember My Words 'Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat or what shall we drink....but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you....' If only people believed this promise.... However, all their thoughts and intentions are purely earthly-inclined and yet, no person can extend his body's life for even an hour if My will has decided otherwise. But neither can a person give life to his soul if he lets it go hungry, if it remains without food and drink for the sake of the body. But since you humans know that the body needs food in order to live, you become guilty if you don't provide for the soul as well, which cannot cease to exist; you become guilty because I approach you time and again offering food for your soul.... because you are repeatedly addressed by My messengers and need only listen to them and live up to their words in order to provide Me with the opportunity to nourish and refresh you spiritually for the benefit of your soul. Time and again My Word is made accessible to you, time and again you are requested to enter into contact with Me, you are invited to a feast and can come to My table at any time and thus accept nourishment from Me for your soul.... For My Word is the heavenly bread, it is the living water, My Word is flesh and blood.... Only My Word is the right food for your soul which will help it attain the life it will never lose again.... And because you so scarcely satisfy your soul's needs, you will also have to suffer physical adversity, the time will come when you, too, will lack in that which you require for your earthly life, if My adversary does not provide enough for you that you will forget about your soul.... But if you have not utterly fallen prey to him as yet, the tangible earthly adversity could still prompt you to turn to Me and appeal to Me to revoke the latter, and then your soul can be nourished at the same time, because every bond with Me will provide strength for the soul, which will thus signify being spiritually fed. The bread of Heaven is indispensable, and from the fact that I described Myself as the 'bread of life' it is evident that you must come close to Me Myself, that I want to give Myself away, because I would like to give life to your soul.... And you truly need not walk far in order to be with Me, you need only enter into silence and turn your thoughts to Me, then you will draw Me to yourselves, you oblige Me to offer you My gifts, to offer you nourishment and refreshment, for as soon as you make mental contact with Me during silent prayer you will also open your heart, so that I Myself can enter, and then you will truly not need to go hungry anymore. And I will not only nourish you spiritually but also in an earthly way, for this is the promise I made and I will keep My Word 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you....'

IK ben het brood des levens, het manna dat uit de hemel komt

Geef ons heden het brood dat we nodig hebben

Het is niet voldoende, wanneer u zich aards verzadigt, wanneer u het lichaam het brood geeft dat u nodig hebt om te leven, integendeel, begeer veelmeer het brood uit de hemel, dat voedsel is voor uw ziel. En geloof van MIJ dat dit laatste in noodgevallen ook het lichaam vermag te onderhouden, maar het eerste nooit de ziel dient om zich positief te ontwikkelen.

En daarom heb IK gezegd: "IK ben het brood des levens, het manna dat uit de hemel komt", want wanneer u MIJ Zelf - Mijn Woord - in u opneemt, zult u leven in eeuwigheid. Maar uw lichaam zal vergaan, ook wanneer u het voortdurend verzadigt met aardse spijzen. Het lichaam is zijn tijd gegeven en is deze voorbij, dan helpt ook geen aardse voeding meer om het in leven te houden. Daarom zou u meer bezorgd moeten zijn om uw ziel het leven te schenken, u zou haar onophoudelijk moeten voeden met het brood des hemels, u zou die spijs die haar van MIJ uit alleen kan worden aangeboden voor haar toegankelijk moeten maken. En u zou daarom dichter bij MIJ Zelf moeten komen en MIJ vragen om ware spijs en ware drank.

En u zou ook steeds aan Mijn Woorden moeten denken: "Wees niet bezorgd wat u zult eten en waarmee u zich zal kleden, maar zoek eerst het rijk GOD's en al het andere zal u gegeven worden". Zouden de mensen maar aan deze belofte willen geloven. Maar al hun zinnen en streven is zuiver aards gericht en toch kan geen mens het leven van zijn lichaam een uur verlengen, wanneer Mijn Wil het anders heeft voorbeschikt. Maar ook geen mens kan zijn ziel het leven geven wanneer hij haar gebrek laat lijden, wanneer ze zonder spijs en drank wordt gelaten terwille van het lichaam.

Maar daar u, mensen weet hoe absoluut het lichaam voedsel nodig heeft om te kunnen bestaan, zo maakt u zich schuldig, wanneer u niet eveneens voor uw ziel zorgt, die niet kan vergaan; u maakt u daarom schuldig, omdat IK ME steeds weer tot u wend en u het voedsel voor uw ziel aanbied, omdat u steeds weer wordt aangesproken door Mijn afgezanten en hen alleen maar hoeft aan te horen en aan hun woorden gevolg te geven, om nu ook al MIJ de mogelijkheid te geven u geestelijk te eten en te drinken te kunnen geven tot heil van uw ziel.

Steeds weer wordt u in contact gebracht met Mijn Woord, steeds weer wordt u aangemaand u met MIJ in verbinding te stellen, u wordt voor het gastmaal uitgenodigd en u zult te allen tijde naar Mijn tafel kunnen komen en dus van MIJ voedsel in ontvangst nemen voor uw ziel, want Mijn Woord is het brood uit de hemel, het is het levende water, Mijn Woord is vlees en bloed, alleen Mijn Woord is voor uw ziel de ware spijs, die haar het leven verschaft, dat ze eeuwig niet meer zal verliezen.

En omdat u zo weinig de behoeften van uw ziel stilt, zult u ook lichamelijk nood moeten lijden, de tijd zal komen waarin u ook zal ontbreken wat u voor uw aardse leven nodig hebt, wanneer Mijn tegenstander niet zo rijkelijk voor u zorgt dat u uw ziel vergeet. Zodra u echter nog niet helemaal aan hem ten prooi bent gevallen, kan aards voelbare nood u er nog toe aanzetten u tot MIJ te wenden en MIJ te vragen deze op te heffen, en dan kan ook tegelijk uw ziel worden gespijzigd, omdat elke band met MIJ de ziel kracht oplevert, dus geestelijke spijziging betekent. Het brood des hemels is absoluut noodzakelijk, en wanneer IK Zelf ME heb aangeduid als "Brood des levens" zo zult u daaruit ook kunnen zien dat u MIJ Zelf zult moeten naderen, dat IK Zelf ME aan u wil schenken omdat IK uw ziel het leven zou willen geven.

En u hoeft waarlijk niet ver te gaan om bij MIJ te zijn, u hoeft alleen maar in de stilte te gaan en uw gedachten op MIJ te richten en dan trekt u MIJ Zelf tot u, u geeft MIJ aanleiding u Mijn gaven aan te bieden, uw ziel spijs en drank aan te reiken, want zodra u zich in gedachten met MIJ verbindt in stil gebed, opent u ook uw hart voor MIJ, dat IK Zelf naar binnen kan gaan en dan zult u waarlijk geen gebrek hoeven te lijden.

En Ik zal u niet alleen geestelijk, maar ook aards voeden, want deze belofte heb IK u gegeven en IK sta achter Mijn Woord:"Zoek eerst het rijk GOD's en zijn gerechtigheid en al het andere zal u worden geschonken".
