'I Am the bread of life, the manna which comes down from Heaven....'

Don't be satisfied by merely feeding yourselves in an earthly way, by providing the body with the bread you require in order to live, rather desire the bread of heaven instead, which is nourishment for your soul.... And believe Me, in an emergency the latter will also be able to maintain the body, but the former will never serve the soul in its higher development.... This is why I have said 'I Am the bread of life, the manna which comes down from Heaven....' For if you digest Me Myself.... My Word.... you will live in eternity. Yet your body will cease to exist even if you constantly feed it with earthly food. It is given its time, and when this is over no earthly nourishment will help in order to keep it alive. For this reason you should be more concerned with bestowing life to your soul, you should incessantly feed it with the bread of Heaven, you should make the nourishment available to it, which can only be offered to it from Me. Therefore, you should approach Me directly and appeal to Me for true nourishment and true refreshment. And always remember My Words 'Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat or what shall we drink....but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you....' If only people believed this promise.... However, all their thoughts and intentions are purely earthly-inclined and yet, no person can extend his body's life for even an hour if My will has decided otherwise. But neither can a person give life to his soul if he lets it go hungry, if it remains without food and drink for the sake of the body. But since you humans know that the body needs food in order to live, you become guilty if you don't provide for the soul as well, which cannot cease to exist; you become guilty because I approach you time and again offering food for your soul.... because you are repeatedly addressed by My messengers and need only listen to them and live up to their words in order to provide Me with the opportunity to nourish and refresh you spiritually for the benefit of your soul. Time and again My Word is made accessible to you, time and again you are requested to enter into contact with Me, you are invited to a feast and can come to My table at any time and thus accept nourishment from Me for your soul.... For My Word is the heavenly bread, it is the living water, My Word is flesh and blood.... Only My Word is the right food for your soul which will help it attain the life it will never lose again.... And because you so scarcely satisfy your soul's needs, you will also have to suffer physical adversity, the time will come when you, too, will lack in that which you require for your earthly life, if My adversary does not provide enough for you that you will forget about your soul.... But if you have not utterly fallen prey to him as yet, the tangible earthly adversity could still prompt you to turn to Me and appeal to Me to revoke the latter, and then your soul can be nourished at the same time, because every bond with Me will provide strength for the soul, which will thus signify being spiritually fed. The bread of Heaven is indispensable, and from the fact that I described Myself as the 'bread of life' it is evident that you must come close to Me Myself, that I want to give Myself away, because I would like to give life to your soul.... And you truly need not walk far in order to be with Me, you need only enter into silence and turn your thoughts to Me, then you will draw Me to yourselves, you oblige Me to offer you My gifts, to offer you nourishment and refreshment, for as soon as you make mental contact with Me during silent prayer you will also open your heart, so that I Myself can enter, and then you will truly not need to go hungry anymore. And I will not only nourish you spiritually but also in an earthly way, for this is the promise I made and I will keep My Word 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you....'

“Io Sono il Pane della Vita, la Manna, che scende dal Cielo.... ”

Non è sufficiente per voi, se vi saziate in modo terreno, quando date al corpo il pane che avete bisogno per vivere, ma desiderate piuttosto il Pane del Cielo, che è il nutrimento della vostra anima. E credeteMi, che l’ultimo è anche in grado, nel caso di necessità, di mantenere il corpo, ma il primo non serve mai all’anima per il suo sviluppo verso l’Alto. E perciò vi ho detto: “Io Sono il Pane della Vita, la Manna che scende dal Cielo.... ”, perché quando assumete Me Stesso – la Mia Parola -, vivrete nell’Eternità. Ma il vostro corpo passerà, anche quando lo saziate con cibo terreno. A lui è dato il suo tempo, e quando questo è trascorso, allora non aiuta nemmeno più nessun nutrimento terreno, per mantenerlo in vita. Perciò dovete essere più preoccupati di dare la vita alla vostra anima, dovete nutrirla continuamente con il Pane del Cielo, dovete farle arrivare il cibo, che può esserle offerto soltanto da Me. E perciò voi dovete avvicinarvi a Me Stesso e chiederMi il giusto cibo e la giusta bevanda. E dovete anche sempre ricordare le Mie Parole: “Non siate in ansietà per ciò che mangerete e per che vestirete, ma cercate dapprima il Regno di Dio, tutto il resto vi verrà aggiunto in sovrappiù.” Se gli uomini credessero soltanto a questa Promessa. Ma tutto il loro pensare e tendere è rivolto solo puramente al terreno, e ciononostante nessun uomo può prolungare la vita del suo corpo di un’ora, quando la Mia Volontà lo ha destinato diversamente. Ma nessun uomo può nemmeno dare alla sua anima la Vita, quando la lascia languire, quando viene lasciata senza cibo e bevanda per via del corpo. Ma dato che voi uomini sapete, quando il corpo necessita del nutrimento per poter sussistere, vi rendete colpevoli, se non provvedete contemporaneamente alla vostra anima, che non può morire; vi rendete colpevoli, perché Io vi vengo sempre di nuovo vicino e vi offro il nutrimento per la vostra anima, perché i Miei messaggeri vi parlano sempre di nuovo e dovreste soltanto ascoltarli e seguire le loro parole, per dare ora anche a Me la possibilità, di nutrivi ed abbeverarvi spiritualmente per il bene della vostra anima. E la Mia Parola vi viene sempre di nuovo portata vicina, siete sempre di nuovo invitati, di mettervi in contatto con Me, siete invitati al Pasto, e potete venire in ogni tempo alla Mia Tavola ed accogliere da Me il nutrimento per la vostra anima, perché la Mia Parola è il Pane del Cielo, è l’Acqua viva, la Mia Parola è carne e sangue, la Mia Parola soltanto è il giusto cibo per la vostra anima, che l’aiuta alla Vita, dato che non può mai più svanire. E dato che calmate così poco le necessità della vostra anima, dovrete anche subire fisicamente la miseria, verrà il tempo, in cui vi mancherà anche ciò di cui avete bisogno per la vostra vita terrena, se il Mio avversario non vi provvederà così abbondantemente, che dimenticate la vostra anima. Ma finché non gli siete ancora totalmente succubi, la miseria terrenamente sensibile può comunque indurvi di rivolgervi a Me e chiederMi di toglierla, ed allora contemporaneamente può anche essere nutrita la vostra anima, perché ogni legame con Me procura la Forza all’anima, cioè significa cibo spirituale. Il Pane del Cielo è indispensabile, e se Io Stesso Mi Sono descritto come “il Pane della Vita”, allora da ciò potete anche vedere, che voi dovete avvicinarvi a Me Stesso, che Io Stesso Mi voglio donare a voi, perché vorrei dare la Vita alla vostra anima. E non avete davvero da andare lontano per essere da Me, dovete soltanto entrare nel silenzio e rivolgere a Me i vostri pensieri, ed allora attirate Me Stesso a voi, Mi inducete, di offrirvi i Miei Doni, di offrire alla vostra anima cibo e bevanda, perché appena vi collegate con Me mentalmente nella silenziosa preghiera, Mi aprite il vostro cuore, affinché Io Stesso posso entrare ed allora non avrete davvero più da languire. Ed Io non vi nutrirò soltanto spiritualmente, ma anche in modo terreno, perché Io vi ho dato questa Promessa, ed Io mantengo la Mia Parola: “Cercate dapprima il Regno di Dio e la Sua Giustizia, tutto il resto vi viene aggiunto in sovrappiù.... ”.
