Earthly tests of will.... constant struggle....

Many earthly tests of will are imposed on you, i.e. your will often has to decide in earthly matters and then you also ask yourselves whether your decision was right. But you are mostly only concerned about earthly success.... You are less concerned about whether you have complied with the will of your father in heaven, Who did not put you before that decision for nothing; for He wants to test your inclination towards matter, He wants to induce you to also remember with every decision that you think and act rightly and justly towards your soul. For it is not God's will that you only think of your earthly advantage but also take care of your neighbour's.... People usually strive for their own advantage at the expense of their fellow human beings, and this is what every person should think about when faced with earthly decisions. Furthermore, it is not irrelevant whether only the human being's intellect deals with these decisions or whether the one Who alone can advise correctly is always remembered.... For as soon as God is approached for guidance and advice the human being's thinking and decision will also be right, everything will, as it were, arise of its own accord and every obstacle will be removed.... for God also wants to be approached for advice and help in earthly questions and matters, and His help always consists of everything arising of its own accord as it is good.... Earthly existence is a battle and will remain so, yet if it is conducted with God then the battle will also end well, it will be able to end victoriously and also lead to the spiritual aim. The struggle, however, mainly consists of overcoming the earthly world, even though the human being stands in the midst of the world.... He must fulfil his duties, he cannot evade every demand placed on him by the world.... But he can nevertheless withdraw himself, i.e. his inner being, his thinking, feeling and wanting, from the influence of the earthly world, he can shape himself in such a way that the desire for the world no longer fills him but the spiritual kingdom is worth striving for.... And in the midst of the world he can do justice to the duties and demands placed upon him because he has already achieved victory over matter. And then earthly goods can also fall to him, which he only sees himself as the administrator of and utilizes them in the right way in the service of his neighbour.... But to what extent the human heart is still involved in earthly goods and earthly successes is something the human being has to answer for himself. And this is therefore also decisive for the respective decision in earthly life.... A sincerely willing person will always receive divine guidance and help; but where the person's own will is still too strong God's will cannot be heard, and God also holds Himself back as long as the person does not fully submit himself to Him. And then resistances and obstacles will replace each other, the human being will not have a clear gift of decision, his own will still strongly emerge.... i.e., the world has not yet completely lost its appeal and has a corresponding effect on the human being. And this is the battle which you have to fight again and again, in which you must not succumb, from which you should nevertheless emerge victorious one day and can do so if only you don't forget the one Who let you walk this earthly path so that you will reach perfection in it, so that you will recognize Him as the most desirable aim and now also pursue this alone....

La prova terrena della volontà - Costante lotta

Vi vengono caricate molte prove terrene della volontà, cioè la vostra volontà si deve sovente decidere in faccende terrene ed allora vi domandate anche se la vostra decisione sia stata giusta. Ma per voi si tratta quasi sempre solo del successo terreno. Per voi si tratta meno se avete corrisposto alla Volontà del vostro Padre nel Cielo, il Quale non per caso vi ha messo davanti a quella decisione; perché vuole esaminare la vostra tendenza per la materia, vi vuole indurre a pensare con ogni decisione, affinché pensiate ed agiate in modo giusto e corretto verso la vostra anima. Perché non è la Volontà di Dio che pensiate soltanto al vostro vantaggio terreno, ma che vi prendiate a cuore anche il prossimo. Si tende quasi sempre al proprio vantaggio a spese del prossimo ed è questo, a cui ogni uomo dovrebbe pensare, quando viene messo davanti a delle decisioni terrene.

Inoltre non è indifferente, se con queste decisioni si occupa solamente l’intelletto dell’uomo oppure se si pensa sempre a Colui il Quale unicamente può consigliare nel modo giusto, perché appena Dio viene interpellato per la Guida ed il Consiglio, sarà anche giusto il pensare e la decisione dell’uomo, tutto si svolgerà come da sé, ed ogni ostacolo sarà eliminato; perché Dio vuole Essere interpellato per il Consiglio e l’Aiuto anche in questioni e faccende terrene ed il Suo Aiuto consiste sempre nel fatto che tutto si risolva da sé, com’è bene.

L’esistenza terrena è una lotta e lo rimarrà pure, ma se viene condotta con Dio, allora avrà anche un buon esito, potrà essere terminata vittoriosa e condurrà anche alla meta spirituale. La lotta consiste prevalentemente nel superamento del mondo terreno, benché l’uomo stia in mezzo al mondo. Deve adempiere i suoi doveri, non può sottrarsi ad ogni pretesa che gli viene posta da parte del mondo. Ma può sottrarre sé stesso comunque all’influenza terrena, cioè il suo essere interiore, il suo pensare, sentire e volere, può formare sé stesso in modo che non lo colmi più il desiderio per il mondo, ma gli è desiderabile il Regno spirituale.

Può svolgere in mezzo al mondo i doveri e le pretese che gli vengono posti, perché ha già conquistato la vittoria sulla materia. Allora gli possono toccare anche dei beni terreni, che come il loro amministratore li guarda soltanto e li valuta nel modo giusto nel servizio al prossimo. Fin dove però il cuore dell’uomo è ancora partecipe ai beni ed ai successi terreni, a questo l’uomo deve rispondere a sé stesso. E questo è anche determinante per ogni decisione nella vita terrena.

Ad uno che vuole seriamente, giungerà sempre la Guida e l’Aiuto divini; ma dove la propria volontà è ancora troppo forte, la Volontà di Dio non può essere percepita, e Dio Si tiene anche indietro, finché l’uomo non Gli si dà totalmente. Ed allora delle resistenze ed ostacoli si daranno il cambio, l’uomo non avrà nessun chiaro dono decisionale, il proprio si farà ancora fortemente avanti, cioè il mondo non ha ancora del tutto perduto il suo fascino ed agisce rispettivamente anche sull’uomo. E questa è la lotta, che deve sempre di nuovo essere combattuta da voi, nella quale non dovete soccombere, da cui dovete comunque una volta procedere come vincitori e lo potete anche, se soltanto non dimenticate l’Uno, il Quale vi ha permesso di percorrere questo cammino terreno, affinché giungiate al perfezionamento, affinché Lo riconosciate come la Meta più desiderabile ed ora è questa che perseguite anche unicamente.
