Speaking in tongues.... Warning against wrong spirit....

And then the human being will accomplish things which seem unnatural to other people, which far exceed a human being’s natural ability.... He will know about things which are usually hidden to people, he will be able to clarify matters convincingly and comprehensibly to his fellow human beings, which a person cannot ascertain with his intellect alone.... he will be able to enter regions which are inaccessible to others.... He will have the strength to cure the sick, to perform miracles or even be able to see the future clairvoyantly, abilities will become evident which he never developed in himself.... he will speak and also understand foreign languages when it is necessary and beneficial for other peoples’ spiritual development.... He will be influenced by divine strength in every way.... but generally only have one of these gifts, since the requirements vary for each spiritual gift and all requirements are rarely found in one person. But each spiritual gift has to fulfil its purpose, i.e. it has to be possible to derive a benefit from each one.... The gift of healing the sick, apart from physical recovery, will undoubtedly also contribute towards the souls’ recovery, since people learn to believe in the power of the spirit, which is activated by the healer’s as well as the sick person’s firm faith. Predictions of future events, too, can motivate people to change their way of life, to do penance and return to God, because these predictions only ever relate to the earthly consequences of people’s spiritual low level.... Proclaiming the truth through the divine spirit also contributes towards the awakening of faith and a change of lifestyle, and again, should be regarded as a purely spiritual factor of utmost importance. Only what contributes towards achieving spiritual benefit can be described as the working of the spirit, because whatever originates from God can’t be anything but illuminating.... It has to bring light and reveal the ambiguous, it cannot emanate even more darkness than is already amongst humanity....

However, God’s spirit can also affect a person in order to remove his state of darkness, to kindle a light in the person’s heart.... to reveal the soul’s layers, so that the soul rejoices and cheers and praises its God and Father, Who bestowed it with enlightenment. This influence applies more to the soul than the person’s intellect, hence the spiritual gift need not be perceptible to people, but it occasionally affects the outer person so intensely that he tries to express himself with incomprehensible words.... People call this process ‘speaking in tongues’, but it always just affects the human being himself.... it is a gift of the spirit which almost every spiritually awakened person can call his own but only in rare cases is it so intense that other people notice a change. For every spiritually awakened person feels the contact his soul experienced such that his soul raises itself to God praising and thanking Him, that it gives itself to Him and finds inner peace and beatitude.... Then his inner ego communicates with God in thought, then he constantly talks with God without words....

Everyone should endeavour to gain this spiritual gift for themselves in order to speak to his fellow human beings on behalf of God and His kingdom, in order to accomplish the redemption work himself as His co-worker, which is blessed. But beware of the wrong spirit, because this, too, makes itself perceptible wherever it can slip in, where pride, self-satisfaction and need for recognition still prevail, thereby offering this spirit the opportunity to express itself in a manner that seems equally unusual. But instead of light it only leaves confusion and agitation.... caused by conditions which are off-putting to serious fellow human beings and only result in joy and approval in those who belong to this spirit themselves. Therefore: Do not believe every spirit.... and scrutinise it by taking notice of the gleam of light, of its intensity of light.... Because God is light.... what comes forth from God is light.... and therefore divine gifts of spirit categorically have to leave an effect of radiant light, otherwise they are Satan’s works of deception, which he particularly uses during the last days with the intention to dazzle people’s eyes as well as their souls in order to plunge them into even greater darkness and render them unable to recognise the true light....

Il parlare nelle lingue – Avvertimento dal falso spirito

Ed allora l’uomo compirà delle cose che ai prossimi non sembrano naturali, che superano di gran lunga la facoltà naturale di un uomo, saprà delle cose che diversamente sono nascoste agli uomini, potrà chiarire ai prossimi delle cose in modo convinto e comprensibile, che un uomo con soltanto il suo intelletto non può sondare, potrà entrare in regioni che sono inaccessibili per il prossimo. Avrà la forza per guarire i malati, opererà dei Miracoli oppure sarà anche in grado di guardare con chiaroveggenza al futuro, in lui si manifesteranno delle facoltà che non ha mai sviluppato in sé, parlerà in lingue straniere e potrà anche comprendere quando questo è necessario e serve allo sviluppo animico dei prossimi. Verrà influenzato in ogni modo dalla Forza divina, ma dapprima possiederà quasi sempre soltanto uno di questi Doni dello Spirito, perché per ogni Dono dello Spirito le premesse sono altre, raramente si trovano in un uomo tutte queste premesse. Ognuno di questi Doni dello Spirito deve però adempiere il suo scopo, cioè da ognuna deve essere tratta una utilità. Il Dono della guarigione degli ammalati contribuirà in modo indiscusso oltre alla guarigione corporea anche alla guarigione dell’anima, perché gli uomini imparano a credere nella Forza dello Spirito, che viene stimolata a manifestarsi attraverso sia la forte fede del guaritore come anche degli ammalati. Inoltre anche delle previsioni di futuri avvenimenti possono muovere gli uomini al cambiamento del loro modo di vivere, al pentimento ed al ritorno, perché queste previsioni riguardano sempre soltanto gli effetti terreni del basso stato spiritual L’annuncio della Verità tramite lo Spirito divino contribuisce pure a risvegliare la fede ed al cambiamento di condurre la vita e perciò è da valutare sempre soltanto come fattore spirituale della massima importanza. Soltanto ciò che contribuisce a raggiungere dei successi spirituali può essere considerato l’Agire dello Spirito, perché ciò che procede da Dio non può essere altro che luminoso, deve portare Luce e scoprire ciò che non è chiaro, non può irradiare nessuna oscurità ancora più profonda di quella che è già fra l’umanità. Ma lo Spirito di Dio può anche influire su un uomo per togliere a lui stesso lo stato dell’oscurità, per accendere una luce nel cuore dell’uomo, per liberare l’anima dai suoi involucri affinché l’anima giubili e gioisca e pensa lodando il suo Dio e Padre il Quale le dona l’illuminazione. Questa influenza è più per l’anima che per l’intelletto dell’uomo, perciò questo Dono dello Spirito non è necessariamente riconoscibile agli uomini, ma a volte tocca anche esteriormente l’uomo così forte, che cerca di comunicare con parole incomprensibili, un procedimento che gli uomini designano con il “parlare nelle lingue”, che riguarda però sempre soltanto l’uomo stesso, un Dono dello Spirito che quasi ogni risvegliato può chiamare suo proprio, che però è così forte soltanto nei casi più rari, in modo che l’uomo possa notare un cambiamento. Perché ogni uomo il cui spirito è risvegliato, sente il tocco nella sua anima in modo che essa si eleva lodando e ringraziando Dio, al Quale si dedica e che trova la pace e la beatitudine interiore. Allora il suo io parla mentalmente con Dio, parla ininterrottamente con Dio senza parole. E tutti devono aspirare per sé stessi a questo Dono dello Spirito, per poter poi anche sostenere Dio ed il Suo Regno nei confronti dei prossimi, per poi eseguire egli stesso il lavoro di Redenzione come Suo collaboratore, che è benedetto. Ma si deve avvertire dal falso spirito, perché anche questo si fa notare ovunque possa insinuarsi, dove predominano ancora nelle anime la superbia, l’auto compiacimento, la prosopopea, che poi danno la possibilità anche a quello spirito di manifestarsi in un modo che appare pure non naturale, ma invece di lasciare dietro di sé soltanto la Luce, rimangono confusione ed irrequietudine, attraverso delle situazioni che agiscono su dei prossimi in modo ripugnante ed incontrano gioia ed assenso soltanto in coloro che appartengono loro stessi a questo spirito. Perciò: non credete ad ogni spirito, ed esaminate osservando il bagliore di Luce, in quale insistenza splende, perché Dio E’ Luce, ciò che procede da Dio è Luce, e così i Doni divini dello Spirito devono lasciare dietro di loro assolutamente una Luce raggiante, altrimenti sono opere d’abbaglio di Satana, con cui particolarmente nel tempo della fine vuole abbagliare gli occhi degli uomini come pure le loro anime, affinché precipitino nell’oscurità ancora più grande e siano incapaci di riconoscere la vera Luce.
