Various gifts of the spirit....

The spirit of God manifests itself in various ways, since its working depends on a person’s ability, on his spiritual maturity.... and it also depends on his disposition which spiritual gift will be given to him. To receive a spiritual gift always presumes the shaping into love, thus a voluntary total transformation of the being. God’s spirit can only flow into a suitable vessel.... a vessel, which thus was prepared for the reception of the divine ray of love through unselfish deeds of love.... Anyone who has not yet achieved this transformation into love cannot expect a gift of the spirit. Consequently, the gifts of the spirit are always merely the result of a loving way of life and never arbitrarily granted gifts.... They have to be ‘endeavoured’, which anyone could do but which is rarely done. The way God’s spirit takes effect depends on the task given to a person who was shadowed by God’s spirit during his earthly life, which God’s wisdom certainly recognised to be beneficial for humanity but nevertheless requires the human being’s free will. God truly knows who wants to serve him and how that person shapes himself, He will therefore place him where he is able to work most effectively....

People in the last days have to be shaken up since their thinking becomes completely superficial, thus they need to be extraordinarily impressed in order to disturb their contentment. But even unusual phenomena have a completely natural explanation, yet what appears to be natural to one person is inconceivable to another because he is spiritually blind. Hence these ‘spiritually blind’ people are confronted by someone with ‘vision’ who can detach himself from his earthly tie and, as you might say, be lifted into the spiritual realm, and who returns from this spiritual realm to earth with a gift which cannot be gained in an earthly way.... He will work with powers which enable him to achieve the seemingly impossible.... by way of the Word he will be able to heal the sick or see the future clairvoyantly, he will possess profound wisdom and thus will also be able to inform his fellow human beings.... or he will know what is otherwise concealed from people.... He will be able to speak foreign languages.... the working of the divine spirit will clearly manifest itself.... but only in order to gain people’s souls for the spiritual kingdom, because the spirit of God only affects people spiritually and does not promote earthly interests. Hence the holder of a spiritual gift will always be a labourer in the vineyard of the Lord....

As a result of this gift he will be God’s representative on earth who wants to establish and increase His kingdom and has made it his task in life. God’s spirit will only manifest itself noticeably to other people through His willing servants, although every person can be permeated by His spirit and thus also be able to understand clearly and precisely and be qualified to pass his knowledge on to other people. Nevertheless, people only receive in accordance with their will, and a prerequisite for receiving an obvious gift of spirit is their willingness to work for God and His kingdom. For God wants to reveal Himself through people to all of humanity. God wants to be recognised in His working, hence a person has to act as an intermediary as long as God cannot approach people Himself, as long as unbelief and spiritual blindness make this utterly impossible. It follows that God reveals Himself through His spirit, which manifests itself through a human being, in order to guide people into faith, to enlighten them, to make them see the light shining from above onto people.... in order to let them know the purpose of their earthly life and to illuminate the path to the goal.... All spiritual gifts only serve to influence people’s souls in the divine sense. Then powers will be released in a person which clearly testify of a divine influx.... the influx of strength that originates in God.... the strength of divine spirit....

영의 다양한 은사.

하나님의 영은 여러 가지 방식으로 자신을 표현한다. 왜냐면 하나님의 영이 능력에 따라 영이 성숙한 정도에 따라 사람들에게 역사할 수 있기 때문이다. 인간의 성품이 또한 그에게 부여되는 영의 은사를 정한다. 영의 은사를 받는 일은 항상 자신을 사랑으로 형성하는 일을 전제로 한다. 즉 존재의 자유의지의 변화를 전제로 한다. 하나님의 영은 단지 받기에 합당한 그릇에 부어질 수 있다. 그러므로 하나님의 사랑의 빛을 받기 위해 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑을 행함으로 준비 된 그릇에 부어질 수 있고 결과적으로 자신을 사랑으로 변화되게 하는 일을 아직 이루지 않은 사람은 영의 은사를 기대할 수 없다.

결과적으로 영의 은사는 항상 단지 사랑을 행하는 삶의 결과이고 절대로 임의대로 주어지는 선물이 아니다. 그러므로 영의 은사를 추구해야만 하고 모두가 추구할 수 있다. 그러나 사람들이 단지 희귀하게 추구한다. 하나님의 영이 어떤 방식으로 효력을 발휘하는 일은 하나님의 영이 함께 하는 가운데 이 땅으로 보내진 사람의 과제에 따라 일어나고 하나님의 지혜가 인류에게 유익하다고 깨달은 대로 일어나고 그럼에도 불구하고 사람의 자유의지를 전제로 한다. 하나님은 진실로 누가 자신을 섬기기를 원하는 지를 알고 그가 자신을 어떻게 형성했는 지를 알고 그러므로 그를 그가 가장 효과적으로 역사할 수 있는 곳에 둔다.

종말의 때에 사람들의 생각을 흔들어줄 필요가 있다. 왜냐면 사람들의 생각이 완전히 일률적으로 저조하게 되어 특별하게 감동을 줄 필요가 있기 때문이고 이로써 그들의 평온함을 방해해야 하기 때문이다. 그러나 특별한 현상조차도 완전히 자연적인 방식으로 설명을 할 수 있지만 한 사람에게는 자연적으로 보이는 일이 다른 사람에게는 이해할 수 없는 일이다. 왜냐면 그의 영적인 눈이 멀었기 때문이다. 이런 영적인 눈이 먼 사람은 보는 사람과 대조를 이루게 될 것이다. 보는 사람은 이 땅의 속박에서 벗어날 수 있고 동시에 영의 나라로 휴거되고 이 땅에서 얻을 수 없는 선물을 영의 나라에서 받아 이 땅으로 돌아간다.

그는 불가능해 보이는 일을 가능하게 하는 세력들과 함께 일할 것이고 말씀으로 병자를 고치거나 또는 투시력으로 미래를 볼 수 있게 될 것이고 가장 깊은 지혜를 얻게 될 것이고 이로써 이웃에게 전할 수 있게 되거나 또는 사람들에게 숨겨진 것이 그에게는 드러나게 될 것이고 그는 외국어로 말할 수 있게 될 것이다. 하나님의 영의 역사가 눈에 띄게 나타날 것이다. 그러나 하나님의 나라를 위해 사람들의 혼을 얻는 일인 경우에 단지 하나님의 영의 역사가 눈에 띄게 나타날 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님의 영은 사람들에게 단지 영적인 역사를 하지만 그러나 절대로 세상의 이익을 위한 역사를 하지 않기 때문이다.

그러므로 영의 은사를 소유한 사람은 항상 주님의 포도원에서 일하는 사람이 될 것이고 그는 이런 은사를 통해 이 땅에서 하나님의 대변자가 될 것이고 하나님의 나라를 건설하고 확장시키기를 원하게 될 것이고 이 일을 자신의 삶의 과제로 삼을 것이다. 단지 이런 자원하는 하나님의 종들을 통해 하나님의 영이 이웃들에게 자신을 나타내게 될 것이다. 그러나 모든 사람이 자신을 하나님의 영으로 충만하게 만들 수 있고 이로써 밝고 분명하게 깨달을 수 있고 그의 깨달음을 이웃에게 전할 수 있다.

그러나 그들은 항상 단지 그들의 의지대로 받게 될 것이다. 사람들이 분명하게 영의 은사를 받기 위한 조건은 그들이 하나님과 하나님의 나라를 위해 일하기 원하는 일이다. 하나님은 사람을 통해 모든 인류에게 자신을 드러내기 원하고 인류가 자신의 역사를 깨닫기를 원한다. 그러므로 하나님 자신이 사람들에게 다가갈 수 없고 불신과 영적인 눈이 먼 상태가 완전히 사라지지 않은 동안에는 하나님은 중재자로 사람을 찾아야만 한다.

이로써 사람들을 믿음으로 인도하고 사람들에게 빛을 주고 위로부터 비추는 빛에 사람들이 눈을 뜨게 하는 일을 위해 하나님 자신이 자신의 영을 통해 자신을 계시한다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이로써 사람들에게 이 땅의 삶의 목적을 알려주고 목표로 가는 길을 밝혀준다. 모든 영의 은사는 단지 하나의 목적을 가지고 있고 이 목적은 하나님이 의도하는 대로 사람들의 혼에 영향을 미치는 일이다. 그러면 사람들에게 힘들이 임하고 이런 일이 볼 수 있게 하나님의 흐름인 하나님으로부터 나온 하나님의 영의 힘을 증거한다.

아멘
