Living or dead knowledge....

That which remains hidden from the wise is given to the simple-minded.... as soon as he is devoted to Me in childlike humility and thus can receive My gifts of grace directly.... whereas the wise man goes away empty-handed because he does not ask Me for what only I can impart and because he believes that he can fathom everything with his intellect which, however, has limits which can only be exceeded under certain conditions. And this condition is not fulfilled by the wise man.... the intellectual man.... whereas an ignorant, simple-minded person can fulfil it unconsciously and therefore achieve a significant advantage in spiritual knowledge. And therefore, even comprehensive study cannot provide a person with this knowledge possessed by a deeply humble believer, to whom I can therefore reveal Myself. The former can certainly possess knowledge but it will always remain dead knowledge as long as he does not enter into this humble childlike relationship with Me which earns him enlightenment on My part, so that his knowledge will only then be living knowledge which he can confidently advocate. But he takes a much further path, he first has to descend from the supposed height of his knowledge, he has to recognize that he is ignorant despite the intellectually received knowledge and remains without My support.... For the sake of truth he has to call upon Me to help him achieve it, he has to feel small himself despite his worldly wisdom, only then will he enter into the right relationship with Me and only then will I be able to consider him correctly.... And I want to open these people's eyes by bringing them together with people who have extensive knowledge without any study, so that they seriously consult with themselves how this should be done and draw the right conclusions for themselves from it.... For I want them too.... who call great knowledge their own.... enter into the blessing of My revelations.... I want them to become living representatives of My teaching, but for this the instructions from Me are absolutely necessary.... I therefore want them to feel ignorant too and simply entrust themselves to Me, that I enlighten their spirit.... for they will have to recognize that I Myself am the source of all truth, that I am the source of light, that only the one who receives wisdom directly from Me is wise. Only the direct path to Me in humility and childlike trust will lead him to the right knowledge with which he can now work successfully, whereas spiritual knowledge, acquired through study, cannot be valued higher than any other worldly knowledge and therefore only impresses people worldly.... unless the listeners are in the right kind of contact with Me that I now grant them what the former lack: Understanding for every word which is to lead to the kingdom of God.... But I will always be the dispenser, and I will always dispense to him who in all simplicity and humility asks Me for My gift of grace.... and he will be truly wise....

살아 있는 지식 또는 죽은 지식.

지혜로운 사람에게 숨겨진 내용이 단순한 사람에게 제공되고 그가 어린애 같은 겸손으로 나에게 헌신하면, 그는 내 은혜의 선물을 직접 받을 수 있게 되는 반면에 지혜로운 사람은 받지 못한다. 왜냐면 그가 단지 내가 줄 수 있는 것을 구하지 않고 그가 이성으로 모든 것을 헤아릴 수 있다고 믿기 때문이다. 그러나 이성에는 한계가 있고 단지 특정한 조건 아래서 이성이 한계를 초과할 수 있고 지혜로운 이성의 사람은 이런 조건을 성취시키지 못한다. 반면에 무지하고 단순한 사람은 무의식적으로 조건을 성취할 수 있고 이로써 영적 지식에서 상당히 앞서갈 수 있다. 그러므로 광범위하게 공부하는 일이 내가 나 자신을 계시해줄 수 있게 하는 깊이 겸손한 믿는 사람이 소유하는 깨달음을 사람에게 주지 못한다.

공부하는 사람은 실제 지식을 가질 수 있지만 그가 나와 어린아이와 같은 겸손한 관계에 이루지 못한 동안에는 항상 죽은 지식으로 머물게 될 것이다. 그가 나와 어린아이와 같은 겸손한 관계를 갖는 일이 내가 그에게 설명해주게 하고 이로써 그의 지식이 비로소 생명력이 있게 되고 그가 그의 지식을 확신을 가지고 대변할 수 있게 되고 그는 훨씬 더 먼 길에 도달한다. 그는 먼저 자신이 가진 것으로 착각하는 높은 지식에서 내려와 자신이 이성으로 영접한 지식에도 불구하고 무지하고 내 지원을 받지 못하는 것을 깨달아야만 한다. 그는 진리때문에 자신이 진리를 얻도록 도와주기를 나에게 구해야만 한다. 그러면 그가 비로소 나와 올바른 관계를 맺고 내가 비로소 그를 제대로 도울 수 있게 된다.

나는 이런 사람이 전혀 공부하지 않고 광범위한 지식을 가진 사람과 만나게 하면서 이런 사람의 눈을 열어주기를 원한다. 이로써 그가 어떻게 이런 일이 일어나는지 생각하게 하고 이를 통해 자신을 위해 올바른 결론을 내리게 한다. 왜냐면 내가 많은 지식을 가진 사람이 내 계시가 주는 축복에 도달하기를 원하고 그가 생명력이 있게 내 가르침을 대변하는 사람이 되기를 원하기 때문이다. 이를 위해 내가 주는 가르침이 절대적으로 필요하다. 그러므로 나는 그가 자신이 무지하다고 느끼고 단순히 내가 그의 영을 깨우쳐 주도록 자신을 나에게 의탁하기를 원한다. 그는 나 자신이 모든 진리의 출처이고 내가 빛의 근원이고 나에게서 직접 지혜를 받는 사람이 단지 지혜 롭다는 것을 깨달아야만 한다.

겸손하게 어린 아이와 같은 신뢰로 나에게 직접 가는 길이 비로소 그가 올바른 지식을 얻게 하고 그는 이제 이런 지식을 가지고 성공적으로 일할 수 있게 된다. 반면에 공부를 통해 얻은 영적 지식은 다른 세상 지식보다 더 높게 평가할 수 없고 그러므로 사람들에게 단지 세상적인 인상을 준다. 예외로는 듣는 사람이 나와 올바르게 연결이 되어 내가 그런 사람에게 부족한 하나님의 나라로 인도할 모든 말씀에 대한 이해를 그에게 가르쳐주는 경우이다. 그러나 나는 항상 제공하는 사람이 될 것이고 나는 항상 또 다시 모든 단순함과 겸손함으로 나에게 은혜의 선물을 구하는 사람에게 줄 것이고 그가 진정으로 지혜롭게 될 것이다.
