Serious admonition.... Materialistic outlook....

You humans only have eyes for the world, you only lust after earthly treasures, you aim to satisfy the appetites of your bodies, you only move in an area dominated by matter but everything of a spiritual nature is silenced by you.... Yet your body is only the shell for what will continue to exist after your physical death, your body is only your soul’s abode for a short period of time. It is the soul which should accomplish maturity through earthly life, but because of your materialistic attitude you let it starve, and thus it will enter the spiritual kingdom in a wretched condition. The physical world is the kingdom of the banished spirits, although you live on it as human beings too it is nevertheless your last stage before your entrance into the spiritual kingdom. As long as you are so dominated by the worldly spirit that you only ever desire material possessions, that you only plan and work for this earthly world, you will be enslaved by matter, even though, as its master, you should rise above it. You are using your whole energy of life to purely reinforce the realm of God’s adversary when you strive for the world and its commodities. But you should use the energy of life to gather spiritual values, to acquire eternal treasures, you should voluntarily part with commodities which are short-lived and which will be taken from you one day, which you cannot take across into eternity. You should use your energy of life correctly and acquire everlasting values you can work with in the spiritual kingdom, they represent treasures for you which will make you truly happy.

You are more than just all material creations, because these were only created for you to serve you as a means to reach perfection.... But you humans fail to recognise their value, you are aiming for the world instead of recognising it as a obstacle to your spiritual development. You serve matter rather than let matter serve you, you allow yourselves to be controlled by it and become its slaves. And that means that you are preparing your soul’s death, that it will be surrounded by a thick cover when it enters the kingdom of the beyond so that no ray of light can get through this cover. Consequently the soul will suffer tremendously until the cover is dissolved, which could take an eternity, providing the cover does not get increasingly harder still and there is no further hope for the soul to discard it. You humans have no idea what you are doing to your soul when you are focussed on earthly-material things, when you only want to acquire material things. Recognise the transience of your surroundings and remember what is everlasting. Do not live your earthly life in vain because you only received it for the maturing of your soul, of the spiritual essence within you, which can only use spiritual food in order to develop, in order to leave the body without a cover when your hour has come.... Consider your soul and turn your mind towards the spirit.... because your soul will continue to exist but all worldliness will pass away....

Severo Ammonimento – Disposizione d’animo materiale

Voi uomini avete rivolti i vostri sguardi al mondo, guardate soltanto a tesori terreni, cercate di soddisfare delle brame corporee, vi muovete solamente in un campo dove regna la materia, tacete morto tutto lo spirituale. Il vostro corpo però è solo l’involucro di ciò che rimane esistente anche dopo la morte del corpo, il vostro corpo è soltanto per breve tempo la dimora della vostra anima ed è quest’anima che deve giungere alla maturità attraverso la vita terrena, che voi lasciate soffrire nella vostra predisposizione d’animo materiale e che perciò entra nello stato misero nel Regno spirituale. Il mondo materiale è il regno del legato spirituale che voi come uomini abitate pure, che però è la vostra ultima stazione prima dell’ingresso nel Regno spirituale. Fintanto che lo spirito del mondo è così forte in voi che desiderate solamente dei beni materiali, che voi lavorate ed agite solamente per il mondo terreno, fino ad allora siete schiavi della materia, dove voi come signori della materia dovete superare questa. Voi impiegate tutta la vostra forza vitale soltanto per rinforzare il regno dell’avversario di Dio, se desiderate il mondo ed i suoi beni. Ma voi dovete impiegare la forza vitale per raccogliere beni spirituali, conquistare dei tesori per l’Eternità, dovete separarvi volontariamente dei beni che sono passeggeri e che vi verranno tolti una volta e che non potete portare con voi nell’Eternità. Voi dovete utilizzare bene la vostra forza vitale e conquistarvi dei beni eterni, con i quali potete lavorare nel Regno spirituale che significano per voi una ricchezza che vi possono davvero rendere beati. Voi siete più che tutte le Creazioni materiali, perché queste sono state create solamente per voi che vi servano per il vostro perfezionamento. Ma voi uomini misconoscete il loro valore, voi tendete al mondo, invece di riconoscerlo come impedimento per il vostro sviluppo spirituale. Voi servite la materia invece che lei serva a voi. Voi vi lasciate dominare da lei e diventate schiavi della materia. E questo significa che voi preparate alla vostra anima la morte in voi, che lei è avvolta da un involucro denso quando entra nel Regno dell’aldilà – che nessun Raggio di Luce possa penetrare questo involucro e che per questo l’anima soffre indicibilmente, finché l’involucro sia dissolto, cosa che può durare delle eternità, se l’involucro non venga persino indurito sempre di più e per l’anima non esista più nessuna possibilità di disfarsene. Voi uomini non sapete che cosa state facendo alla vostra anima, se siete predisposti in modo terreno-materiale se cercate di conquistare soltanto sempre beni materiali. Riconoscete una volta la temporaneità di ciò che vi circonda e ricordatevi di quello che è eterno. Vivete la vostra vita non vanamente, perché vi è stata data solamente per la maturazione dell’anima – dello spirituale in voi – che può utilizzare soltanto del nutrimento spirituale per svilupparsi per poter lasciare senza involucro il corpo quando sia venuta la vostra ora – perché l’anima rimane esistente, ma tutto ciò che è terreno, passa.
