Prayer in spirit and in truth....

No one will call upon Me for help in vain who sends his supplication to Me in spirit and in truth. But how should you pray so that your call reaches Me? You should not utter a lip prayer, for I will not hear and listen to it because your heart is uninvolved, because you do not establish contact with Me but always remain on earth, because you only practice a form which has no life. But even a prayer of intellect does not reach My ear, even though the human being intellectually acknowledges Me as God and creator from eternity and in this belief in Me utters words through which he believes to have established the connection with Me. I require a different prayer, I require complete trust in Me, I require the plea of a child which recognizes the father in Me and comes to Him in complete trust that He will help it. A child's trust is the strength of faith and a prayer sent to Me in this way comes from the heart and reaches My ear. Then it is not the human being who talks to God but the child to the father.... Only when a person in the silence of his heart seeks Me in thought, when he converses with Me, when he unadornedly and undisguisedly spreads out before Me everything that oppresses him, when he humbly commends himself to Me and My care, when he has removed all barriers between himself and Me, if he lets Me be present through heartfelt prayer, if he prays in spirit and in truth, then his spirit will swing up to Me, or I, too, will bend down to My child and its plea will not go unheard.... I will not disappoint a child which comes to Me with such faith and complete trust with all its requests, I will also reveal Myself to it as a faithful father, I will not leave it in adversity. I will not let its faith go to waste, for it does not seek Me in the distance, it dares to come to Me and yet remains deeply humble, otherwise it would not pray but demand.... But a prayer of understanding is a demand which the human being makes of Me because he believes himself entitled to it through his acknowledgement of Me.... Such an intellectual prayer lacks profound humility, for where humility is present the intellect is silent but the heart speaks all the louder. You should pray in spirit and in truth.... and you can only do that if you establish the relationship of a child with Me.... Then the path from you to Me is not far, then you can always be with Me in thought, then you will also always draw Me to you, for then your thoughts will always be directed towards Me with love, and I recognize and feel your love and can therefore already have an effect on you through My spirit.... And then you will never make a wrong request, for the father always hears when His child calls to Him....

La preghiera nello Spirito e nella Verità

Nessuno Mi chiamerà invano per l’Aiuto, che invia a Me una preghiera chiamata nello Spirito e nella Verità. Ma come dovete pregare affinché la vostra chiamata Mi raggiunga? Non dovete pronunciare nessuna preghiera di labbra, perché Io non la sento e non l’esaudisco, perché il vostro cuore non è partecipe, perché non stabilite con Me il contatto, ma rimanete sempre sulla Terra, perché esercitate solamente una forma che non ha nessuna vita. Ma anche una preghiera d’intelletto non penetra al Mio Orecchio, benché l’uomo Mi riconosca intellettualmente come Dio e Creatore dall’Eternità ed ora in questa fede pronuncia delle parole a Me, con le quali crede di stabilire il contatto con Me. Io pretendo un’altra preghiera, Io pretendo la piena confidenza verso di Me, Io pretendo la chiamata di preghiera d’un figlio, che riconosce in Me il Padre e viene a Lui nella piena fiducia, che Egli lo aiuti. Nella fiducia d’un figlio si trova la forza della fede, ed una preghiera che viene inviata a Me in questo modo, proviene dal cuore e colpisce il Mio Orecchio. Allora non parla l’uomo con Dio, ma il figlio con il Padre. Solamente quando un uomo Mi cerca mentalmente nel silenzio del suo cuore, quando tiene con Me il dialogo, quando Mi espone tutto ciò che lo preme senza abbellimenti e senza veli, quando si raccomanda in umiltà a Me ed alla Mia Provvidenza, quando elimina tutte le barriere fra sé e Me, quando permette la Mia Presenza mediante un’intima invocazione, allora prega nello Spirito e nella Verità, allora lancia in su a Me il suo spirito, oppure anche Io M’inchino giù al figlio, e la sua chiamata di preghiera non risuonerà non udita. Un figlio che viene a Me credente e pieno di fiducia con tutte le sue questioni, non lo deluderò, a lui Mi rivelerò anche come Padre che provvede fedelmente, non lo lascerò nella sua miseria. Non lascerò andare in rovina la sua fede, perché non Mi cerca nella lontananza, ma osa di venire a Me e rimane comunque profondamente umile, altrimenti non pregherebbe, ma pretenderebbe. Ma una preghiera d’intelletto è una pretesa che l’uomo Mi pone, perché si crede a ciò autorizzato mediante il riconoscimento di Me Stesso. Una tale preghiera d’intelletto fa sentire una mancanza di profonda umiltà, perché dov’è l‘umiltà, l’intelletto tace, ma il cuore parla ancora più forte. Voi dovete pregare nello Spirito e nella Verità, e lo potete fare solamente, se stabilite con Me il rapporto da figlio. Allora la via da voi a Me non è lontana, allora potete essere sempre con Me in pensieri, allora Mi attirate sempre a voi, perché allora il vostro pensare sarà sempre rivolto a Me nell’amore e quindi posso agire su di voi già mediante il Mio Spirito. Ed allora non farete mai invano una richiesta, perché il Padre ascolta sempre quando Lo chiama un figlio.
