Prayer in spirit and in truth....

No one will call upon Me for help in vain who sends his supplication to Me in spirit and in truth. But how should you pray so that your call reaches Me? You should not utter a lip prayer, for I will not hear and listen to it because your heart is uninvolved, because you do not establish contact with Me but always remain on earth, because you only practice a form which has no life. But even a prayer of intellect does not reach My ear, even though the human being intellectually acknowledges Me as God and creator from eternity and in this belief in Me utters words through which he believes to have established the connection with Me. I require a different prayer, I require complete trust in Me, I require the plea of a child which recognizes the father in Me and comes to Him in complete trust that He will help it. A child's trust is the strength of faith and a prayer sent to Me in this way comes from the heart and reaches My ear. Then it is not the human being who talks to God but the child to the father.... Only when a person in the silence of his heart seeks Me in thought, when he converses with Me, when he unadornedly and undisguisedly spreads out before Me everything that oppresses him, when he humbly commends himself to Me and My care, when he has removed all barriers between himself and Me, if he lets Me be present through heartfelt prayer, if he prays in spirit and in truth, then his spirit will swing up to Me, or I, too, will bend down to My child and its plea will not go unheard.... I will not disappoint a child which comes to Me with such faith and complete trust with all its requests, I will also reveal Myself to it as a faithful father, I will not leave it in adversity. I will not let its faith go to waste, for it does not seek Me in the distance, it dares to come to Me and yet remains deeply humble, otherwise it would not pray but demand.... But a prayer of understanding is a demand which the human being makes of Me because he believes himself entitled to it through his acknowledgement of Me.... Such an intellectual prayer lacks profound humility, for where humility is present the intellect is silent but the heart speaks all the louder. You should pray in spirit and in truth.... and you can only do that if you establish the relationship of a child with Me.... Then the path from you to Me is not far, then you can always be with Me in thought, then you will also always draw Me to you, for then your thoughts will always be directed towards Me with love, and I recognize and feel your love and can therefore already have an effect on you through My spirit.... And then you will never make a wrong request, for the father always hears when His child calls to Him....

ORACION EN EL ESPIRITU Y LA VERDAD

Nadie me invocará en vano suplicando ayuda que me envíe su petición de auxilio en el espíritu y la verdad. Mas cómo debéis pedir para que vuestra invocación me alcance? No debéis expresar ninguna oración labial, porque a ésta no la oigo ni condesciendo, porque vuestro corazón está sin participar en ello, porque no hacéis la comunicación Conmigo, sino que continuáis permaneciendo en la tierra, porque sólo practicáis una forma sin vida alguna.

Pero tampoco penetra en Mi oído una oración intelectual, aún cuando me reconozca el hombre intelectualmente como a Dios y Creador de la Eternidad y en esa creencia pronúncie palabras por las que crea haber establecido la comunicación Conmigo.

Yo pido otra clase de oración, Yo pido la plena confianza en Mí, Yo pido la invocación de súplica de un hijo, que en Mí reconoce al Padre, y lleno de confianza a El viene para que le ayude. En la confianza de un hijo yace la fuerza de la fe, y una oración que de ese modo es enviada a Mí, sale del corazón y toca Mi oído. Entonces no es el hombre el que habla con Dios, sino el hijo con el Padre. Cuando primeramente el hombre se interna en el silencio de su corazón mentalmente, cuando mantiene Conmigo una conversación, cuando sin afectación y fingimientos expone ante Mí lo que le oprime, si en humildad se encomienda a Mí y a Mi preocupación, cuando haya apartado todas las barreras entre él y Yo, cuando por medio de una íntima invocación me deje a Mí estar presente, ora en el espíritu y la verdad, entonces su espíritu se oscila hacia arriba, hacia Mí, o también me inclino abajo hacia Mi hijo y su petición de ayuda no sonará inaudible.

Un hijo tan creyente y lleno de confianza que viene a Mí con todos sus favores = (peticiones), no lo dejaré frustrado y me revelaré a él como un Padre fielmente preocupado, no lo dejaré en la pena o tribulación. No dejaré que su fe se desilusione, pues él no me busca en la lejanía, se aventura (arriesga) hasta Mí y sinembargo permanece profundamente humilde, de otro modo no pediría, sino que exigiría.

Una oración intelectual es una exigencia que a Mí me hace el hombre, porque por causa del reconocimiento de Mi Mismo se cree en el derecho a ello o de hacerlo. Semejante oración intelectual deja echar de menos la profunda humildad, porque allí donde hay humildad, la razón está en silencio callada para que el corazón tanto más alto hable.

¡Debéis orar en el espíritu y en la verdad! Eso solamente lo podéis hacer si establecéis Conmigo la relación de hijo. Entonces el camino desde vosotros hasta Mí no está lejos, cualquier monento podéis estar Conmigo en la mente y constantemente me atraéis a vosotros y vuestros pensamientos estarán dirigidos siempre en amor a Mí y Yo reconozco y siento vuestro amor y de esa manera puedo ya actuar por Mi Espíritu en vosotros. Jamás haréis entonces una petición en vano, porque el Padre siempre oye cuando su hijo lo llama.
