"He who believes in Me shall live for ever...."

He who believes in Me will live for eternity.... These are My words which also gave rise to divisions because the spiritual meaning was not properly recognized. I demand faith in Me in order to be able to give people eternal life.... But what is meant by faith? Not the confession with the mouth, not the intellectual acknowledgement of My act of salvation, but the inner conviction of the truth of everything I taught you humans on earth is to be understood by 'faith', and this inner conviction can only be gained through love.... Thus faith also necessitates love, and thus love is the first thing. But it is also fulfilled by those who believe in Me such that I can grant them eternal life. Right faith therefore promises life because it includes love within itself. But intellectual faith does not lead to eternal life, and it is this intellectual faith which can still be found amongst people if need be but which I cannot evaluate such that it brings the human being eternal life. I want a living faith which, however, can only be gained through love. For the human being only lives when he feels certainty in himself through love, a faith which is truly happy, which now determines his whole will and thinking and results in a way of life which earns him eternal life. To believe intellectually is no evidence of maturity of soul, for the human being may have been pushed onto christian ground through education, thus he cannot reject Me Myself, My earthly life as a human being and My act of salvation with conviction, he regards everything as true.... And yet, his heart need not be touched by it, it is an historical occurrence for him which he cannot deny but it is not felt by him for what it is. It does not touch his heart, which is only impressed when love comes to unfold in him. Then faith in it will trigger beatitude in him, then something will come alive in him, only then will the human being feel himself in the midst of My working on humanity, only then can he speak of faith which leads to eternal life. I certainly first require faith in Jesus Christ, the divine redeemer, because only through Jesus Christ is the path to eternal life, because faith in God alone is not enough due to the burden of sin, which cannot be redeemed without Jesus Christ.... Therefore I spoke the words, "He who believes in Me shall live forever...." Mind you.... I, Jesus Christ, as redeemer of the world, demanded faith, but 'faith' is always only to be understood as living faith through love, which is why people first have to fulfil the commandments of love which I gave to people in order to show them the path which leads to eternal beatitude.... But then they will also be able to believe and in this faith enter into eternal life....

“Chi crede in Me, vivrà nell’Eternità …”

Chi crede in Me, vivrà nell’Eternità. Queste sono Parole Mie, che davano anche motivo per scissioni, perché il senso spirituale non veniva bene riconosciuto. Pretendo la fede in Me, per poter dare agli uomini una Vita eterna. Ma che cosa è da intendere per ‘fede’? Non la dichiarazione con la bocca, non il riconoscimento intellettuale della Mia Opera di Redenzione, ma la convinzione interiore della Verità di tutto ciò che ho insegnato a voi uomini sulla Terra, questo è da intendere sotto “fede”, e questa convinzione interiore si può acquisire solamente attraverso l’amore. Quindi, la fede pretende anche l’amore e così l’amore è la prima cosa. Viene anche adempiuto da coloro, che credono in Me in modo, che Io possa donare loro la Vita eterna. La vera fede quindi promette perciò la Vita, perché include in sé l’amore. Ma la fede intellettuale non conduce alla Vita eterna, e questa fede d’intelletto è ciò che si trova all’occorrenza ancora fra gli uomini, che però non posso valutare così che procuri all’uomo la Vita eterna.

Voglio una fede viva, che però può essere conquistata soltanto attraverso l’amore, perché l’uomo vive solo se attraverso l’amore sente in sé una sicurezza, una fede che rende davvero felice, che ora determina tutto il suo volere e pensare e realizza un cammino di vita che gli procura una Vita eterna. Credere intellettualmente non è nessuna dimostrazione di maturità dell’anima, perché l’uomo può essere stato spinto su un suolo cristiano attraverso l’educazione, quindi non può rifiutare con convinzione Me Stesso, la Mia Vita terrena come Uomo e la Mia Opera di Redenzione, considera tutto come vero. Ciononostante il cuore può anche non esserne necessariamente toccato, per lui è solo una vicenda storica che non può rinnegare, ma da lui non viene percepito come ciò che è, non tocca il suo cuore, che rimane impressionato solamente, quando in lui si sviluppa l’amore. Allora la fede in ciò farà scaturire in lui una beatitudine, in lui diventa vivente qualcosa, solo allora l’uomo si sente in mezzo al Mio Agire sull’umanità, solo allora può parlare di fede che conduce alla Vita eterna.

Certo, dapprima pretendo la fede in Gesù Cristo, il divino Redentore, perché soltanto su Gesù Cristo la via conduce alla Vita eterna, perché la fede in Dio da sola non basta, a causa del peso di peccato, che non può essere estinto senza Gesù Cristo. Perciò ho pronunciato le Parole: “Chi crede in Me, vivrà nell’Eternità…” Ben inteso, Io Gesù Cristo come Redentore del mondo, ho preteso la fede, ma sotto “fede” è sempre da intendere la viva fede attraverso l’amore, per cui gli uomini devono per prima cosa adempiere i Comandamenti dell’amore, che ho dato agli uomini per indicare loro la via che conduce all’eterna Beatitudine. Ma allora potranno anche credere ed in questa fede entrare nella Vita eterna.
