God's love and mercy in the last time before the end....

God's great love and mercy will evidently become apparent in the last days before the end when the believers will live in hardest tribulation. It will be a time of most bitter hardship for people who want to remain faithful to Him, for the adversary will take drastic measures against anyone who stands up for his faith and for Jesus Christ and His teaching. The measures taken to enforce faithlessness will be of such severity that people will offer little resistance and almost without exception profess themselves against God. But those who know the truth, who live in love and therefore also in the right knowledge of God, who call upon Jesus Christ as redeemer for His help, will also recognise in the measures the one who is announced as the Antichrist for the last time before the end. And for this reason, they will stand all the firmer and wait full of confidence for God's help and His coming, and they will not be disappointed either. God's great love will be revealed to them, for He is close to them at all times, so that even the unbelievers would be able to recognise Him if they were not of bad will and therefore completely under the sway of Satan. Yet anyone who is still weak and not completely apostate will still be seized by God's mercy, and he will be offered many proofs of divine activity so that it will be made easy for him to believe and to withstand all threats from the world. Only good will must not be lacking, then God's hand will reach out to him even in the last hour. It is difficult to predict to people what will happen in this time, because Satan continues to work out new plans and outdoes himself with cruelties, inhuman decrees and shameful actions against the believers. The believers' fate is apparently unbearable and yet they will draw so much strength from God that they will be able to endure all oppression and not to feel the hardship as much because their gaze is directed heavenwards and the world and earthly things no longer tempt them. Moreover, they hear the voice of the Lord.... they know that He shortens the days, for His promise has given them comfort, and thus they every day expect to be delivered from earthly adversity.... And yet the last day still comes as a surprise even to them; it will come when there is no longer any possibility of winning souls, and this will be the case very quickly, for the separation will soon be completed, the courage of people's conviction is only slight, and the decision for or against God will be demanded in a short time, and therefore it will also be the prelude to the end, for the tribulation to which the believers are now subject calls for God's help, otherwise the small flock of His Own would also be overcome by weakness and God would never allow this to happen again.... And thus He will come as Saviour in utmost adversity and take His Own to Himself.... And then comes the Judgment as it is proclaimed in word and scripture....

종말 전의 마지막 때에 하나님의 사랑과 긍휼.

종말 전의 마지막 때에 믿는 사람들이 가장 극심한 공격을 받는 곳에서 하나님의 큰 사랑과 긍휼이 볼 수 있게 나타날 것이다. 이 때는 하나님께 신실하게 남기 원하는 사람에게 가장 쓰라린 위험의 때가 될 것이다. 왜냐면 대적자가 자신의 믿음과 예수 그리스도와 그의 가르침을 위해 나서는 모든 사람에게 가혹하게 대항하기 때문이다. 믿음을 없애기 위해 실행되는 조치들이 아주 날카로워 사람들이 적게 저항을 하게 되고 대부분이 하나님을 대적하는 고백을 할 것이다.

그러나 진리를 아는 지식이 있고 사랑의 삶을 살고 그러므로 하나님에 대한 올바른 깨달음이 있고 구세주 예수 그리스도에게 도움을 구하는 사람들은 이런 조치들을 통해 종말 전의 마지막 때에 예언된 적그리스도를 깨달을 것이다. 그러므로 그들은 더욱 굳게 설 것이고 전적인 확신을 가지고 하나님의 도움과 하나님의 오심을 기다릴 것이고 실망하지 않을 것이다. 하나님의 큰 사랑이 그들에게 나타날 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님이 언제든지 그들에게 가까이하여 악한 뜻을 갖지 않은 그러므로 전적으로 사탄의 의지에 빠지지 않은 믿지 않는 사람들도 하나님을 깨달을 수 있기 때문이다. 그러나 하나님의 긍휼이 아직 연약하고 하나님을 전적으로 떠나지 않은 사람을 붙잡을 것이다. 그에게 하나님의 역사에 대한 많은 증거가 주어질 것이고 이로써 그가 믿고 세상을 통해 오는 모든 공격을 견디는 일을 쉽게 해줄 것이다. 단지 선한 의지가 없어서는 안 된다. 그러면 마지막 순간에 하나님의 손길이 그에게 펼쳐질 것이다.

이 때 어떤 일이 일어날지 사람들이 미리 아는 일은 어려울 것이다. 왜냐면 사탄이 항상 또 다시 새로운 계획을 생각해내고 잔인함이 증가하고 믿는 사람들에게 해를 끼치는 비인간적인 조치와 행동들이 증가하기 때문이다. 겉으로 보기에 믿는 사람들의 운명이 견딜 수 없을 것이다. 그러나 그들은 하나님으로부터 아주 많은 능력을 받아 모든 어려움을 견딜 수 있고 위험을 그렇게 느끼지 않을 것이다. 왜냐면 그들의 눈은 하늘을 향해 있고 세상과 세상적인 것들이 그들을 더 이상 유혹하지 못하기 때문이다. 게다가 그들은 주님의 음성을 듣고 주님이 날을 줄인다는 것을 알고 주님의 약속이 그들에게 위로를 주기 때문이다. 그러므로 그들은 매일을 세상의 위험으로부터 그들이 구원받는 날로 예상한다.

그럴지라도 마지막 날은 이런 사람들에게도 놀랍게 다가오게 된다. 혼들을 얻기 위한 가능성이 사라지면, 이 날이 임할 것이고 이날은 아주 빠르게 임할 것이다. 그러면 구분하는 일이 곧 이뤄질 것이고 고백하는 용기는 단지 적게 될 것이고 사람들은 하나님을 위할 것인지 대항할 것인지 짧은 시간 내에 결정하도록 요구를 받게 된다. 그러므로 이런 일이 종말의 서곡이 될 것이고 믿는 사람들이 이제 당하는 환란이 하나님이 도움을 주게 만들 것이다. 그렇지 않으면 하나님께 속한 작은 무리들이 연약함에 빠지고 하나님이 이런 일을 절대로 허용하지 않을 것이다. 하나님은 최고의 위험 속에서 구원자로 임하여 자신에게 속한 사람들을 자신에게 이끌 것이고 그러면 말씀과 기록에 예언된 대로 심판이 임할 것이다.
