Human timing of the end.... disciples of Jesus also unknowing.... shortening the days....

The human determination of the time of the end is also inaccurate, as soon as it is calculated intellectually or given by people of unawakened spirit. However, if they announce the end in the near future, they come closer to the truth. But they can also still postpone the time of the end for a long time, and this would be a deception which has detrimental consequences for people's souls. For anyone who does not expect the end shortly will also never seriously tackle the work of the soul, and this is the purpose of such announcements, that people strive to change and can only do so if they constantly work on themselves and keep the near end in mind. This is why God constantly points to the end but always leaves people in uncertainty about the time of the end. And even His servants, who are mentally in contact with Him, are not informed of the exact time, yet the firmer they stand in faith, the more they live in love, the more they will also know that they themselves are in the time of the end, for they pay attention to the appearances which God Himself announced to earthly people through His son Jesus Christ as a sign of the end. Even the man Jesus did not know the day and hour of the end, and His announcements were also to be applied in all times, so that His disciples also reckoned with the approaching end and the imminent return of Christ, which was connected with the end. His disciples were also of awakened spirit and could not determine the day and hour. And so no certain information can be given from a human point of view until the end, only the signs of the time can be taken into consideration and from them the near end can be concluded, which must one day irrevocably come because the divine word must be fulfilled. But serious strivers will also seriously consider the thoughts of the end of the world, the day of judgment and the fulfilment of all prophecies which point to it. And their eyes will also be opened so that they will recognize the signs of the end, and their thinking will be right.... They will know that they themselves live in the time, that they have to familiarize themselves with the thought in order to belong to those who have to live through a time of unspeakable hardship and distress because these precede the end. But Jesus has also given them a comforting assurance that He will shorten the days for the sake of the elect, so that they will become blessed. And therefore, if a person believes that the end time has come and that the last judgment is to be expected every day, he need not be anxious.... he will have the strength to endure everything as long as he strives towards God and belongs to His own.... But only then will he recognize the signs of the end time, otherwise he will never expect a near end because he does not believe. But the believers know what hour has struck.... they know that the end is near, as God has proclaimed in word and scripture....

La determinazione umana del tempo della fine – Anche i discepoli di Gesù erano ignari – I giorni abbreviati

Anche la determinazione umana del tempo della fine non è appropriata, appena viene calcolata intellettualmente oppure indicato da uomini di spirito non risvegliato. Se però annunciano la fine in arrivo, si avvicinano alla Verità. Ma loro possono anche rimandare lontano nel futuro il momento della fine, e questa sarebbe una guida nell’errore, che ha delle conseguenze svantaggiose per le anime degli uomini. Perché chi non attende la fine in breve, non assumerà seriamente il lavoro sull’anima, e questo è lo scopo di tali annunci, che gli uomini si sforzino di cambiare e lo possono solamente quando lavorano costantemente su di sé e si tengono la fine davanti agli occhi. Per questo Dio indica ininterrottamente la fine e lascia però gli uomini ignari del momento della fine. E persino i Suoi servitori, che sono mentalmente in contatto con Lui, non vengono istruiti sul preciso momento, ma più sono saldi nella fede, più vivono nell’amore, sapranno anche che loro stessi si trovano nel tempo della fine, perché osservano gli avvenimenti, che Dio Stesso ha annunciato tramite Suo Figlio Gesù Cristo come segni della fine degli uomini terreni. Anche l’Uomo Gesù non conosceva il Giorno e l’ora della fine, ed i Suoi Annunci si potevano anche impiegare in tutti i tempi, in modo che anche i Suoi discepoli contassero con la vicina fine e col precoce Ritorno di Cristo, che era collegato con la fine. Anche i Suoi discepoli erano di spirito risvegliato e non potevano determinare il Giorno e l’ora. E fino alla fine non potranno essere fatte nemmeno da parte umana indicazioni certe, possono essere tenuti in considerazione soltanto i segni del tempo e da ciò verrà dedotta la vicina fine, che una volta deve venire irrevocabilmente, perché la Parola divina si deve compiere. Ma coloro che tendono seriamente si occuperanno anche seriamente con il pensieri della fine del mondo, del Giorno del Giudizio e del compimento delle profezie, che indicano questa. Ed a loro verranno anche aperti gli occhi, affinché riconoscano i segni del tempo, ed il loro pensare sarà giusto. Sapranno, che loro stessi vivono nel tempo che devono prendere confidenza con il pensiero, per far parte di coloro che devono sopravvivere ad un tempo di indicibile afflizione e miserie, perché queste precedono la fine. Ma anche a loro Gesù ha dato una confortante assicurazione, che Egli abbrevierebbe i giorni per via degli eletti, affinché diventino beati. E se ora l’uomo crede, che il tempo della fine è venuto e che per ogni giorno è da aspettarsi l’ultimo Giudizio, non ha bisogno di temere, avrà la Forza di sopportare tutto, finché egli tende verso Dio ed appartiene ai Suoi. Ma anche soltanto allora riconoscerà i segni del tempo, altrimenti non conterebbe mai su una vicina fine, perché non crede. Ma i credenti sanno quale ora è suonata, sanno, che la fine è vicina, come Dio l’ha annunciata nella Parola e nella Scrittura.
