Signs of the working of the spirit in the human being....

My working through the spirit in the human being is of such a kind that the soul strives ever more away from matter and unites with the spiritual spark within it. Where I can work the desire for the world must also decrease and the desire for Me increase, for once My strength can unfold everything earthly, everything material, loses its value, for the spiritual outshines the worldly and becomes ever more desirable to the human being's soul. Where I Myself can work in the human being through My spirit, there I also distribute spiritual gifts which make the human being happy and let him become ever more inward. And thus the human being's soul unites with his spirit and it now determines all his thinking, wanting and feeling. And the body soon conforms to the soul's desire, it too withdraws from the desire for earthly pleasures and goods, it only serves the soul to carry out what the spirit demands from the soul.... It only serves the soul to carry out works of neighbourly love, to impart spiritual and earthly gifts to its fellow human beings who are in need of them. And when body, soul and spirit have become one in will and activity, the union with Me is also established, because the spirit in the human being is My share, because it is eternally inseparable from the father-spirit and because I Myself am already present where I can work through My spirit in the human being. Where the world is still desired, where the body and soul still strive for earthly advantages, there My working through the spirit in the human being can never be spoken of, there only the intellect can be active, even if spiritual knowledge is the object of its activity. And this will never correspond to the truth or be completely misunderstood by him if he has intellectually accepted the truth from someone who knows the truth. My working of the spirit expresses itself in the transmission of spiritual truths, yet then the human being does not need to be supplied with knowledge from outside but My spirit within him communicates it to him.... knowledge comes from within him, and this is the surest sign of the working of the spirit in the human being. For it exceeds a person's natural ability to intellectually fathom something for which there is no evidence on earth, but it is fully understandable for the person in whom I Myself can work. He himself no longer needs proof in order to recognize it as profound truth, for since he is taught by the spirit within himself he also receives the power of realization at the same time, but all those lack it where My spirit cannot be effective. Furthermore, My spirit's activity consists of exceedingly active love.... The human being feels impelled to distribute spiritual and earthly things, and thus My activity is recognizable where love is practiced. For I Myself must be there because I Myself am love, and My strength of love must constantly flow over to the human being and let him become active in every way. But his activity will always correspond to My will because My spirit guides him and orders his thoughts. And thus the human being will think, speak and act correctly and mature in his realization, he will become knowledgeable, live in truth and in love if I Myself can work in him through My spirit; he will already find union with Me on earth and remain eternally inseparably united with Me....

사람 안의 영의 역사의 증거.

사람 안의 영의 역사를 통해 내가 역사하는 방식은 혼이 항상 더욱 물질로부터 벗어나려는 추구를 하게 하고, 자신 안의 영의 불씨와 연결을 이루게 한다. 내가 일할 수 있는 곳은 세상을 향한 갈망이 줄어들고, 나를 향한 갈망은 커진다. 왜냐면 내 힘이 역사할 수 있는 곳은 모든 세상적인 것과 모든 물질적인 것이 가치를 잃기 때문이고, 영적인 것이 세상적인 것보다 빛나기 때문이고, 사람의 혼에게 영적인 것이 더욱 갈망할 만한 것이 되기 때문이다. 나 자신이 사람 안에서 나의 영을 통해 역사할 수 있는 곳에서, 나는 영적인 선물을 준다. 영적인 선물은 사람들을 행복하게 하고, 그가 항상 더욱 내적이 되게 한다.

이로써 인간의 혼은 자신의 영과 하나가 되고, 영이 이제 혼의 모든 생각과 의지와 느낌을 정한다. 육체는 곧 혼의 갈망을 따르고, 또한 세상의 기쁨과 재물을 향한 갈망을 벗어나고, 혼이 단지 영이 혼에게 요구하는 일을 수행하도록 혼을 섬긴다. 육체는 단지 혼이 이웃사랑을 행하도록 돕고, 영적인 세상적인 선물이 필요한 자신의 이웃 사람들에게 영적인, 세상적인 선물을 나눠주도록 혼을 섬긴다. 왜냐면 사람 안의 영이 나의 일부분이기 때문이다. 원하는 일과 역사하는 일에서 몸과 혼과 영이 하나가 되면, 나와의 연합이 이뤄진다. 왜냐면 사람 안의 영이 나의 일부분이기 때문이다. 왜냐면 그가 영원히 아버지의 영과 분리될 수 없기 때문이고, 나 자신이, 내가 나의 영을 통해 사람들 안에서 역사할 수 있는 곳에 이미 임재하기 때문이다.

세상을 아직 갈망하고, 육체와 혼이 아직 세상의 유익을 위해 추구하는 곳에서 인간의 영을 통한 나의 역사가 절대로 일어날 수 없고, 그런 곳에는 비록 영적인 지식을 위해 일을 할지라도, 단지 유일하게 이성이 역사하고, 사람이 진리 안에 선 사람으로부터 이성적으로 진리를 물려 받았을지라도, 그런 지식은 절대로 진리와 일치하지 않거나, 그가 완전히 오해하게 된다. 나의 영의 역사는 영적인 진리가 전달되는 일로 나타난다. 그러나 사람이 자신의 지식을 외부로부터 공급받을 필요가 없고, 사람 안의 나의 영이 지식을 그에게 전한다. 지식이 자기 자신 안에서 나오고, 이런 일이 사람 안에 영이 역사한다는 가장 확실한 증거이다.

왜냐면 지식이 사람이 이성으로 어떤 것을 헤아려 보려는 자연적인 능력을 넘어서고, 이 땅에 그런 지식에 대한 증거가 없지만, 나 자신이 그 안에서 역사할 수 있는 사람은 충분히 이해할 수 있는 지식이고, 그 자신이 가장 깊은 진리로 깨닫기 위해 더 이상 어떤 증거도 필요하지 않기 때문이다. 왜냐면 그 자신이 자신의 영에 의해 가르침을 받기 때문이고, 그에게 동시에 깨달을 능력이 주어지고, 나의 영이 역사할 수 없는 모든 사람에게는 이런 깨달을 능력이 없기 때문이다. 나의 영의 역사는 또한 아주 활동적으로 사랑을 행하는 일로 이뤄져 있고, 더 나아가 사람이 영적인 것과 세상적인 것을 나눠주려는 자극을 받게 하는 역사이다. 그러므로 사랑이 행해지는 곳에서 나의 역사를 깨달을 수 있다.

왜냐면 나 자신이 사랑이고 나의 사랑의 힘은 계속해서 사람에게 흘러가, 사람이 모든 면에서 활동하게 하기 때문에 그런 곳에 나 자신이 있어야만 하기 때문이다. 그러나 그의 활동은 항상 나의 의지와 일치할 것이다. 왜냐면 나의 영이 그를 인도하고 그의 생각을 정리해주기 때문이다. 그러므로 사람이 올바르게 생각하고 말하고 행동하고, 그의 깨달음이 성숙해질 것이고, 나 자신이 나의 영을 통해 그 안에서 역사할 수 있게 되면, 그는 알게 될 것이고, 진리 안에 서게 될 것이고, 사랑 안에서 살게 될 것이다. 그는 이미 이 땅에서 나와의 연합을 이룰 것이고, 영원히 나와 뗄 수 없이 연합이 되어 머물 것이다.
