Spiritual guides.... Earthly Path.... Signpost....

People who do not know the right path stray and move away from the right goal instead of approaching it. And that is why they need a good guide, a signpost who knows the right path and warns and urges attention wherever there is a danger of taking a wrong turn and missing the right path. But he who knows the way also knows the goal and will now eagerly help his fellow human beings to reach this goal.... But the goal of earthly life is the spiritual kingdom in all its glory.... And the path to this is arduous and narrow, it is not easily passable but short if it is covered without stopping, if the human being does not hesitate or constantly look back and looks for an easier way to pass.... Then the goal can be reached quickly, i.e., the human being can reach a degree of perfection while still on earth, that he carries the kingdom of God within himself, that the heaviness of earth no longer weighs him down, that he has found union with God before he leaves his earthly body. But then vast realms spread out before his spiritual eye which fill him with bliss, then all the events and troubles of the path are forgotten, for they do not outweigh the glories which are now bestowed upon him. And then the soul is grateful to the guidance which has looked after it on its earthly path.... But the right Guidance is God Himself, Who instructs people on earth through His Word and thus informs them of the right path which leads to Him. And He commissions willing servants on earth to take over the office of guidance, i.e., to bring His Word to people, He first instructs His servants in the right truth so that they will then act as mediators for their fellow human beings, so that they, too, will take note of the truth, of God's Word, which flows forth from His sanctified mouth and is conveyed by Him directly to earth through His messengers. And therefore, guides who know the right path will constantly appear along the way and guide the wayfarers correctly, informing them of the dangers they should be aware of, of the goal and of the strength from God which is available to everyone who walks the path with serious intention of reaching the goal, which is eternal bliss. And these guides are to be listened to, their advice and admonitions are to be heeded, for they are appointed by God, they are given to people so that they will not go astray, so that they cannot say that they have not found the right path but can enter and follow it at any time if they are seriously determined to reach the goal. These leaders proclaim to you the Word of God, which is the right path.... For the Word of God is truth, because God is the Eternal Truth Himself; it leads towards the goal.... eternal life.... and whoever chooses God Himself as his guide by accepting and following the divine Word can never miss the right path, he will reach his goal.... he will live for eternity....

Geistige Führer.... Erdenweg.... Wegweiser....

Des rechten Weges unkundige Menschen irren ab und entfernen sich vom rechten Ziel, anstatt sich ihm zu nähern. Und daher bedürfen sie eines guten Führers, eines Wegweisers, der den rechten Weg kennt und überall dort warnet und zur Aufmerksamkeit mahnet, wo die Gefahr ist, in einen falschen Weg einzubiegen und den rechten Weg zu verfehlen. Wer aber des Weges kundig ist, der kennt auch das Ziel und wird nun voller Eifer den Mitmenschen helfen, auch dieses Ziel zu erreichen.... Das Ziel des Erdenlebens aber ist das geistige Reich in aller Herrlichkeit.... Und der Weg zu diesem ist mühevoll und eng, er ist nicht leicht gangbar, doch kurz, so er ohne Aufenthalt zurückgelegt wird, so der Mensch nicht zögert oder immerwährend zurückblickt und einen leichter passierbaren Weg sucht.... Dann kann das Ziel schnell erreicht werden, d.h., es kann noch auf Erden der Mensch einen Grad der Vollkommenheit erreichen, daß er das Reich Gottes in sich trägt, daß ihn die Erdenschwere nicht mehr drückt, daß er den Zusammenschluß mit Gott gefunden hat, bevor er seines irdischen Leibes ledig ist. Dann aber breiten sich vor seinem geistigen Auge weite Gefilde aus, die ihn mit Seligkeit erfüllen, dann sind alle Geschehnisse und Mühen des Weges vergessen, denn sie wiegen nicht die Herrlichkeiten auf, die ihm nun beschieden sind. Und dann ist die Seele dankbar der Führung, die sie betreut hat auf dem Erdenwege.... Die rechte Führung aber ist Gott Selbst, Der durch Sein Wort die Menschen auf Erden unterweiset und ihnen also Kenntnis gibt vom rechten Wege, der zu Ihm führt. Und Er beauftragt willige Diener auf Erden, das Amt der Führung zu übernehmen, d.h., den Menschen Sein Wort zu bringen, Er unterweiset zuvor Seine Diener in der rechten Wahrheit, auf daß diese dann den Mitmenschen gegenüber Vermittler sind, auf daß auch diese Kenntnis nehmen von der Wahrheit, vom Wort Gottes, das Seinem geheiligten Munde entströmt und von Ihm direkt zur Erde geleitet wird durch Seine Boten. Und ständig werden daher am Wege die des rechten Weges kundigen Führer auftreten und die Wanderer recht leiten, ihnen Kenntnis geben von den Gefahren, die sie beachten sollen, von dem Ziel und von der Kraft aus Gott, die jedem zur Verfügung steht, der den Weg beschreitet mit dem ernsten Vorsatz, das Ziel zu erreichen, das da ist die ewige Seligkeit. Und diese Führer sollen angehört werden, ihre Ratschläge und Ermahnungen sollen beachtet werden, denn sie sind von Gott aus bestellt, sie sind den Menschen beigegeben, daß sie nicht in die Irre gehen, daß sie nicht sagen können, den rechten Weg nicht gefunden zu haben, sondern jederzeit ihn betreten und verfolgen können, so sie ernsten Willens sind, das Ziel zu erreichen. Diese Führer verkünden euch das Wort Gottes, welches ist der rechte Weg.... Denn das Wort Gottes ist Wahrheit, weil Gott die ewige Wahrheit Selbst ist; es führt dem Ziel entgegen.... dem ewigen Leben.... und wer sich durch das Annehmen und Befolgen des göttlichen Wortes Gott Selbst zum Führer erwählet, der kann nimmermehr den rechten Weg verfehlen, er erreichet sein Ziel.... er wird leben in Ewigkeit....
