Need and torment of immature souls in the afterlife....

The soul which enters the spiritual kingdom completely immaturely has to endure unimaginable torments, yet the nature of these torments is not conceivable for you earthly people, even though you imagine the worst fate on earth as a comparison. For the torments are of a more spiritual nature, caused by the soul's environment which, depending on its state of maturity, is deepest darkness or twilight but always causes torment for the being which desires to be light and powerful because this was its original state. The sense of earthly good is indeed also strongly pronounced in such souls and likewise the cause of great agony, yet the state of darkness is unbearable for them and signifies utmost hardship for them. And their weakened will prevents them from striving towards the light when it falls like a spark into their lightless surroundings to stimulate the souls to follow the ray of light in order to find the source of light. Once the soul has overcome this weakness of will.... through the influx of strength from a loving intercession on the part of people.... its lot is already considerably better, for the knowledge of moments of light gives it the hope of being able to change its state, and it now pays attention to every slightest dawn, every illumination of its surroundings through such rays of light. And as soon as it herself steps into its glow, it feels an improvement of its situation, for the light touches its beneficently and gives it strength. But it is only touched by a ray of light if it desires it, and this can take an eternity before it liberates itself from its desolate situation through desire for change, for light. For the soul's will is decisive and therefore usually so weakened or completely turned away from God that the rays of light cannot find access to it. Since the being was originally full of light and strength it will only feel at ease in a state of light and strength and will have to feel every lack as torment, but the nature of the torment is inconceivable to people, yet full of pity they should think of those souls which are abandoned without help through human love and have to remain in a desolate state for eternities before they are released from it. People should imagine the saddest earthly lot and know that it does not yet reach the torment of an immature soul in the beyond, and therefore give it their love.... heartfelt prayer for these souls that they will lose their weakness of will, that they themselves will now muster the strength to desire light, that love will also stir in them, that they will want to be active and work in love.... As soon as the soul's will has accepted this direction its agonizing state will end, and through the influx of light and strength it will be able to work on its ascent development and make up in the beyond for what it neglected to do on earth.... to work in love.... For only through love can it redeem itself and only through loving activity can it receive light and strength again, thus it can shape its environment into a light-filled one, which means beatitude for it. To help these souls in their adversity is a work of Christian neighbourly love of unheard-of importance, for they are completely helpless and only depend on people's help through loving intercession. And therefore they often stay close to such people who were close to them on earth in order to appeal to them for strength, for help from their agonizing situation. They themselves don't know in what way they can be helped, because in their ignorance and spiritual darkness they also don't know about the blessing of a loving prayer. Yet unconsciously they promise themselves help through people, and you, who are of awakened spirit, should bring it to them and know about the agonies of an imperfectly secluded soul, even if you cannot measure their depth. Help them through heartfelt remembrance and prayer, thereby give them strength, try to point the souls to the blessing of the working of love and remind them in your thoughts that they can only redeem themselves through love.... make them sensitive to the suffering of other souls and thus try to stimulate them into loving help, always giving them the strength through your prayer to give their will the right direction.... and you will carry out a merciful work of neighbourly love which the souls will eternally thank you for once they have escaped the greatest darkness and eagerly strive upwards....

Angústia e tormento de almas imaturas na vida após a morte....

A alma que entra imaturamente no reino espiritual tem de suportar tormentos inimagináveis, mas a natureza desses tormentos não é concebível para vós, pessoas terrenas, apesar de imaginardes o pior destino na Terra como comparação. Pois os tormentos são de natureza mais espiritual, causados pelo ambiente da alma que, dependendo do seu estado de maturidade, é a escuridão mais profunda ou crepúsculo, mas sempre causa tormento para o ser que deseja ser leve e poderoso porque este era o seu estado original. O sentido do bem terreno é de fato também fortemente pronunciado em tais almas e também a causa de grande agonia, mas o estado de escuridão é insuportável para elas e significa para elas as maiores dificuldades. E a sua vontade enfraquecida impede-os de lutar em direcção à luz quando esta cai como uma faísca no seu ambiente sem luz para estimular as almas a seguir o raio de luz, a fim de encontrar a fonte de luz. Uma vez que a alma tenha superado esta fraqueza de vontade através do influxo de força de uma intercessão amorosa por parte das pessoas, a sua sorte já está consideravelmente melhor, pois o conhecimento dos momentos de luz dá-lhe a esperança de poder mudar o seu estado, e agora presta atenção a cada pequeno amanhecer, a cada iluminação do seu ambiente através de tais raios de luz. E assim que ela própria entra no seu brilho, ela sente uma melhoria da sua situação, pois a luz toca-a de forma benéfica e dá-lhe força. Mas ele só é tocado por um raio de luz se o desejar, e isso pode levar uma eternidade antes que ele se liberte da sua situação desolada pelo desejo de mudança, de luz. Pois a vontade da alma é decisiva e, portanto, geralmente tão enfraquecida ou completamente afastada de Deus que os raios de luz não conseguem encontrar acesso a ela. Como o ser era originalmente cheio de luz e força, só se sentirá à vontade num estado de luz e força e terá de sentir cada falta como tormento, mas a natureza do tormento é inconcebível para as pessoas, mas cheias de pena devem pensar naquelas almas que são abandonadas sem ajuda através do amor humano e têm de permanecer num estado desolado por eternidades antes de serem libertadas dele. As pessoas devem imaginar a mais triste sorte terrena e saber que ela ainda não chega ao tormento de uma alma imatura no além, e por isso dar-lhe o seu amor.... oração sincera por estas almas para que elas percam a sua fraqueza de vontade, para que elas próprias tenham agora a força de desejar luz, para que o amor também as desperte, para que elas queiram ser activas e trabalhar no amor.... Assim que a vontade da alma tiver aceite esta direcção, o seu estado agonizante terminará e, através do influxo de luz e força, poderá trabalhar no seu desenvolvimento ascendente e compensar no além o que negligenciou fazer na Terra.... para trabalhar no amor.... Pois só através do amor pode redimir-se e só através da atividade amorosa pode receber novamente luz e força, assim pode moldar o seu ambiente em um ambiente cheio de luz, o que significa beatitude para ele. Ajudar estas almas na sua adversidade é uma obra de amor ao próximo cristão de importância inédita, pois elas são completamente indefesas e só dependem da ajuda das pessoas através da intercessão amorosa. E, por isso, muitas vezes ficam perto dessas pessoas que lhes eram próximas na Terra, a fim de apelar à sua força, à ajuda da sua situação agonizante. Eles próprios não sabem de que forma podem ser ajudados, porque na sua ignorância e escuridão espiritual também não sabem da bênção de uma oração amorosa. Mas, inconscientemente, prometem ajudar-se a si mesmos através das pessoas, e vós, que sois de espírito desperto, deveis levar-lhes isso e conhecer as agonias de uma alma imperfeitamente isolada, mesmo que não possais medir a sua profundidade. Ajude-os através da recordação sincera e da oração, dando-lhes assim força, tente apontar as almas para a bênção do trabalho do amor e lembre-os nos seus pensamentos que só se podem redimir através do amor.... torna-os sensíveis ao sofrimento de outras almas e assim tenta estimulá-los a uma ajuda amorosa, dando-lhes sempre a força através da tua oração para dar à sua vontade a direcção certa.... e realizareis uma obra misericordiosa de amor ao próximo que as almas vos agradecerão eternamente por terem escapado da maior escuridão e avidamente lutarem para cima...._>Amém
