Need and torment of immature souls in the afterlife....

The soul which enters the spiritual kingdom completely immaturely has to endure unimaginable torments, yet the nature of these torments is not conceivable for you earthly people, even though you imagine the worst fate on earth as a comparison. For the torments are of a more spiritual nature, caused by the soul's environment which, depending on its state of maturity, is deepest darkness or twilight but always causes torment for the being which desires to be light and powerful because this was its original state. The sense of earthly good is indeed also strongly pronounced in such souls and likewise the cause of great agony, yet the state of darkness is unbearable for them and signifies utmost hardship for them. And their weakened will prevents them from striving towards the light when it falls like a spark into their lightless surroundings to stimulate the souls to follow the ray of light in order to find the source of light. Once the soul has overcome this weakness of will.... through the influx of strength from a loving intercession on the part of people.... its lot is already considerably better, for the knowledge of moments of light gives it the hope of being able to change its state, and it now pays attention to every slightest dawn, every illumination of its surroundings through such rays of light. And as soon as it herself steps into its glow, it feels an improvement of its situation, for the light touches its beneficently and gives it strength. But it is only touched by a ray of light if it desires it, and this can take an eternity before it liberates itself from its desolate situation through desire for change, for light. For the soul's will is decisive and therefore usually so weakened or completely turned away from God that the rays of light cannot find access to it. Since the being was originally full of light and strength it will only feel at ease in a state of light and strength and will have to feel every lack as torment, but the nature of the torment is inconceivable to people, yet full of pity they should think of those souls which are abandoned without help through human love and have to remain in a desolate state for eternities before they are released from it. People should imagine the saddest earthly lot and know that it does not yet reach the torment of an immature soul in the beyond, and therefore give it their love.... heartfelt prayer for these souls that they will lose their weakness of will, that they themselves will now muster the strength to desire light, that love will also stir in them, that they will want to be active and work in love.... As soon as the soul's will has accepted this direction its agonizing state will end, and through the influx of light and strength it will be able to work on its ascent development and make up in the beyond for what it neglected to do on earth.... to work in love.... For only through love can it redeem itself and only through loving activity can it receive light and strength again, thus it can shape its environment into a light-filled one, which means beatitude for it. To help these souls in their adversity is a work of Christian neighbourly love of unheard-of importance, for they are completely helpless and only depend on people's help through loving intercession. And therefore they often stay close to such people who were close to them on earth in order to appeal to them for strength, for help from their agonizing situation. They themselves don't know in what way they can be helped, because in their ignorance and spiritual darkness they also don't know about the blessing of a loving prayer. Yet unconsciously they promise themselves help through people, and you, who are of awakened spirit, should bring it to them and know about the agonies of an imperfectly secluded soul, even if you cannot measure their depth. Help them through heartfelt remembrance and prayer, thereby give them strength, try to point the souls to the blessing of the working of love and remind them in your thoughts that they can only redeem themselves through love.... make them sensitive to the suffering of other souls and thus try to stimulate them into loving help, always giving them the strength through your prayer to give their will the right direction.... and you will carry out a merciful work of neighbourly love which the souls will eternally thank you for once they have escaped the greatest darkness and eagerly strive upwards....

Penurias y tormentos de las almas inmaduras en el más allá....

El alma que ingresa completamente inmadura al reino espiritual debe soportar tormentos indescriptibles, pero la naturaleza de estos tormentos no es imaginable para vosotros, los humanos de la Tierra, aunque os imagináis como comparación el peor destino en la Tierra. Porque los tomentos son más de naturaleza espiritual, causados por el ambiente del alma, que, según su estado de madurez, es de oscuridad o crepúsculo más profundo, pero que siempre causa tormento al ser que desea ser lleno de luz y poderoso porque esto fue su estado original. El deseo por los bienes terrenales es ciertamente fuerte en tales almas y es también causa de gran tormento, pero el estado de tinieblas es insoportable para ellas y significa una extrema angustia para ellas. Y su voluntad debilitada le impide esforzarse hacia la luz cuando ésta cae como una chispa en su entorno sin luz para estimular a las almas a seguir el rayo de luz para encontrar la fuente de luz.

Una vez que el alma ha superado esta debilidad de voluntad.... gracias a la fuerza de la amorosa intercesión por parte de los seres humanos.... entonces su suerte ya es mucho mejor, porque el conocimiento de los momentos brillantes le da la esperanza de poder cambiar su condición, y ella ahora presta atención a cada más mínimo crespúsculo, a cada iluminación de su entorno a través de tales rayos de luz. Y tan pronto como ella misma entra en su resplandor, siente que su situación mejora, porque la luz la toca beneficiosamente y le da fuerza. Pero un rayo de luz sólo la toca cuando ella lo desea, y esto puede tardar tiempos eternos antes de que ella misma se libere de su situación desolada mediante el deseo de cambio, de la luz. Porque la voluntad del alma es decisiva y por eso suele estar tan debilitada o tan alejada de Dios que los rayos de luz no pueden encontrar acceso a ella.

Dado que el ser al principio era lleno de luz y poderoso, sólo se sentirá cómodo en un estado de luz y poder y tendrá que sentir cada carencia como un tormento, pero el tipo de tormento es inimaginable para los humanos, pero tienen que estar llenos de misericordia para esas almas que son abandonadas sin la ayuda del amor humano y que tienen que permanecer en un estado desolado durante eternidades antes de ser redimidos de ello. Los seres humanos deben imaginarse el destino más triste en la Tierra y saber que aún no llega al tormento de un alma inmadura en el más allá y por eso dadles vuestro amor.... una oración íntima para estas almas, para que pierdan su debilidad de voluntad, que ellas mismas ahora reúnen la fuerza para anhelar la luz, para que el amor se active en ellas, para que quieran estar activas y obrar en el amor....

Tan pronto como la voluntad del alma ha tomado esta dirección, su tortuosa condición ha terminado, y mediante el suministro de luz y fuerza se pone en condición de trabajar en su desarrollo ascendente y compensar en la otra vida lo que perdió en la Tierra.... de obrar en el amor.... Porque sólo a través del amor puede redimirse y sólo a través de la obra del amor puede volver a recibir luz y fuerza, es decir, hacer que su entorno esté lleno de luz, lo que significa dicha para ella. Ayudar a estas almas en su necesidad es una obra de caridad cristiana de increíble importancia, porque ellas están completamente indefensas y sólo dependen de la ayuda de los seres humanos a través de la amorosa intercesión.

Y es por eso que muchas veces se quedan cerca de personas que estuvieron cerca de ellos en la Tierra para pedirles fuerza y ayuda en su dolorosa situación. Ellas mismas no saben de qué manera se les puede ayudar, porque en su ignorancia y oscuridad espiritual no conocen la bendición de una amorosa oración. Pero inconscientemente se prometen ayuda a través de seres humanos, y vosotros debéis llevársela, vosotros que sois de espíritu despierto y conocéis los tormentos de un alma imperfecta y fallecida, aunque tampoco podáis medirlos en su profundidad.

Ayudadlas mediante el recuerdo sincero y la oración, dadles fuerza, tratad de indicar a las almas la bendición de la obra del amor, y presentadles mentalmente que sólo pueden redimirse a través del amor.... hacedles sensibles al sufrimiento de otras almas, y procurad animarlas a la ayuda amorosa, dándoles siempre la fuerza mediante vuestra oración para dar a su voluntad la dirección correcta.... y realizaréis una obra misericordiosa de caridad que las almas os lo agradecerán eternamente una vez que hayan escapado de la mayor oscuridad y se esfuercen ansiosamente hacia arriba....
