Need and torment of immature souls in the afterlife....

The soul which enters the spiritual kingdom completely immaturely has to endure unimaginable torments, yet the nature of these torments is not conceivable for you earthly people, even though you imagine the worst fate on earth as a comparison. For the torments are of a more spiritual nature, caused by the soul's environment which, depending on its state of maturity, is deepest darkness or twilight but always causes torment for the being which desires to be light and powerful because this was its original state. The sense of earthly good is indeed also strongly pronounced in such souls and likewise the cause of great agony, yet the state of darkness is unbearable for them and signifies utmost hardship for them. And their weakened will prevents them from striving towards the light when it falls like a spark into their lightless surroundings to stimulate the souls to follow the ray of light in order to find the source of light. Once the soul has overcome this weakness of will.... through the influx of strength from a loving intercession on the part of people.... its lot is already considerably better, for the knowledge of moments of light gives it the hope of being able to change its state, and it now pays attention to every slightest dawn, every illumination of its surroundings through such rays of light. And as soon as it herself steps into its glow, it feels an improvement of its situation, for the light touches its beneficently and gives it strength. But it is only touched by a ray of light if it desires it, and this can take an eternity before it liberates itself from its desolate situation through desire for change, for light. For the soul's will is decisive and therefore usually so weakened or completely turned away from God that the rays of light cannot find access to it. Since the being was originally full of light and strength it will only feel at ease in a state of light and strength and will have to feel every lack as torment, but the nature of the torment is inconceivable to people, yet full of pity they should think of those souls which are abandoned without help through human love and have to remain in a desolate state for eternities before they are released from it. People should imagine the saddest earthly lot and know that it does not yet reach the torment of an immature soul in the beyond, and therefore give it their love.... heartfelt prayer for these souls that they will lose their weakness of will, that they themselves will now muster the strength to desire light, that love will also stir in them, that they will want to be active and work in love.... As soon as the soul's will has accepted this direction its agonizing state will end, and through the influx of light and strength it will be able to work on its ascent development and make up in the beyond for what it neglected to do on earth.... to work in love.... For only through love can it redeem itself and only through loving activity can it receive light and strength again, thus it can shape its environment into a light-filled one, which means beatitude for it. To help these souls in their adversity is a work of Christian neighbourly love of unheard-of importance, for they are completely helpless and only depend on people's help through loving intercession. And therefore they often stay close to such people who were close to them on earth in order to appeal to them for strength, for help from their agonizing situation. They themselves don't know in what way they can be helped, because in their ignorance and spiritual darkness they also don't know about the blessing of a loving prayer. Yet unconsciously they promise themselves help through people, and you, who are of awakened spirit, should bring it to them and know about the agonies of an imperfectly secluded soul, even if you cannot measure their depth. Help them through heartfelt remembrance and prayer, thereby give them strength, try to point the souls to the blessing of the working of love and remind them in your thoughts that they can only redeem themselves through love.... make them sensitive to the suffering of other souls and thus try to stimulate them into loving help, always giving them the strength through your prayer to give their will the right direction.... and you will carry out a merciful work of neighbourly love which the souls will eternally thank you for once they have escaped the greatest darkness and eagerly strive upwards....

저세상의 성숙하지 못한 혼들의 고난과 고통.

완전히 성숙하지 못한 상태로 영의 나라에 들어간 혼은 말할 수 없는 고통을 견뎌야만 한다. 그러나 이런 고통은, 비록 너희가 이 땅의 최악의 운명을 유산한 것으로 생각할지라도, 이 땅의 사람들에게 상상할 수 없는 고통이다. 왜냐면 이런 고통은 영적인 고통에 가깝기 때문이고, 혼의 성장 상태가 가장 깊은 어두움이거나 여명의 상태이고, 이 상태가 항상 존재의 원래의 상태가 빛과 힘이 충만했기 때문에, 이런 상태가 되기를 갈망하는 존재에게 항상 고통을 야기시키는 혼의 환경 때문이다. 이런 혼들에게 세상 재물을 향한 생각이 강하게 각인이 되었고, 이런 점이 마찬가지로 큰 고통의 원인이다. 그러나 어두움의 상태는 혼들에게 참을 수 없고, 혼들에게 극심한 고통을 의미한다. 만약에 혼이 빛의 근원을 찾도록 하기 위해, 작은 빛을 따르도록 자극하기 위해 빛이 없는 환경에 불씨와 같은 빛이 임하면, 혼의 연약해진 의지가 혼이 빛을 향해 추구하지 못하게 한다.

혼이 사람들의 사랑의 중보기도의 힘을 통해, 비로소 이런 연약한 의지를 극복한다면, 혼의 운명이 이미 현저하게 나아 진다. 왜냐면 빛이 있는 순간에 대한 지식이 혼에게 자신의 상태를 바꿀 수 있다는 희망을 주고, 혼이 이제 그런 빛의 광선을 통해, 주변의 모든 가장 작은 여명의 빛과 이런 빛을 통해 자신의 주변이 밝게 되는 모든 순간에 주의를 기울이기 때문이다. 혼 자신이 그런 빛 안으로 들어가면, 혼은 자신의 상황이 개선되는 것을 느낀다. 왜냐면 빛이 혼을 행복하게 하고, 혼에게 힘을 주기 때문이다. 그러나 혼이 빛의 광선을 갈망할 때, 혼은 비로소 빛의 광선을 받게 된다. 혼이 스스로 변화를 갈망하고, 혼의 황량한 상황에서 벗어나게 하는 빛을 갈망하기까지, 영원한 시간을 걸릴 수 있다. 왜냐면 혼의 의지가 결정적이기 때문이다. 그러므로 혼의 의지가 대부분 연약해져 있거나, 또는 전적으로 하나님을 떠난 상태에 있고, 빛의 광선이 혼에게 도달할 수 없다.

존재가 원래 초기에는 빛과 힘이 충만했기 때문에, 존재는 빛과 힘의 상태에서 편안함을 느끼고, 모든 부족을 고통으로 깨달아야만 한다. 그러나 사람들은 이런 고통의 성질을 상상할 수 없다. 그러나 사람들은 도움이 없이 인간의 사랑에 전적으로 의존되어 있는, 영원에 영원한 기간 동안 황량한 상태에 머물러야만 하는 혼이 이로부터 구원을 받기까지, 혼을 전적으로 긍휼히 여겨야 한다. 사람들은 가장 슬픈 이 땅의 운명을 생각하고, 그의 고통이 저세상의 아직 성숙하지 못한 혼의 고통에 미치지 못한다는 것을 알아야 하고, 그러므로 너희는 너희의 사랑을 베풀어야 하고, 이런 혼을 위해 긴밀하게 기도하고, 혼이 의지의 연약함을 벗어나, 스스로 빛을 갈망할 힘을 얻고, 그들 안에 사랑이 활동하기 시작하고, 그들이 사랑 안에서 일하고, 역사하도록 기도해야 한다.

혼의 의지가 이런 방향을 취하면, 혼의 고통스러운 상태가 끝나고, 혼은 빛과 힘의 공급을 통해 혼의 높은 성장을 위해 일하고, 혼이 이 땅에서 소홀이 했던 사랑으로 역사하는 일을 저세상에서 보충할 수 있는 상황에 처하게 된다. 왜냐면 혼은 단지 사랑을 통해 자신을 구속할 수 있고, 단지 사랑의 역사를 통해 빛과 힘을 다시 받을 수 있기 때문이다. 즉 혼은 자신의 주변을 빛으로 가득하게 만들 수 있고, 이런 일은 혼에게 행복을 의미한다. 위험 가운데 있는 이런 혼들을 돕는 일은 기독교의 이웃사랑의 역사로써 엄청난 의미가 있다. 왜냐면 혼들은 전적으로 무기력하고, 단지 사랑의 중보기도를 통한 사람들의 도움에 의존되어 있기 때문이다.

그러므로 혼들은 자주 이 땅에서 자신들과 가까운 사람들 근처에 머물며, 고통스러운 상황에서 도움을 구하고 힘을 구한다. 사람들은 무지와 영적 어두움 속에서도 사랑의 기도의 축복에 대해 알지 못하기 때문에 혼들을 도울 방법을 스스로 알지 못한다. 그러나 사람들은 무의식적으로 사람들을 통한 도움을 약속한다. 깨어난 영을 가지고 있고, 비록 너희가 온전하지 못한 상태로 이 땅을 떠난 혼들의 고통을 측량할 수 없을 지라도, 혼들의 고통에 대해 알고 있는 너희는 이런 도움을 혼들에게 줘야 한다.

긴밀한 기억과 기도를 통해 혼들을 도우라. 이로써 혼들에게 힘을 주라. 사랑을 행하는 축복을 혼에게 알려주려고 시도하라. 생각을 통해 혼들에게 그들이 단지 사랑을 통해 자신을 구원할 수 있음을 알려주라. 그들이 다른 혼의 고통에 민감하게 하여, 그들이 사랑의 도움을 주도록 자극하라. 너희의 기도를 통해 항상 그들에게 힘을 주면서 그들의 의지에 올바른 방향을 주기 위해 시도하라. 너희는 너희 이웃을 위한 긍휼히 여기는 사랑을 행하게 될 것이다. 혼들이 언젠가 가장 큰 어두움을 피하고 열심히 위를 추구하게 되면, 혼들이 너희에게 영원히 감사하게 될 것이다.
