Not just listeners, but doers of the word....

Those who strive spiritually must make an effort to live a way of life that corresponds to God's will, because this alone brings success and guarantees the human being spiritual ascent. Anyone who only mentally tries to reach the aim and does not turn his thoughts into deeds will remain at a standstill in his development. For only the deed proves his will to ascend, to God. And therefore only the person who lives according to God's will.... who is not only a listener but also a doer of His word, which makes the divine will known to him, can mature in knowledge. His knowledge can only increase and become the right knowledge if he utilizes the knowledge he has already received, thus if he follows the divine word and is lovingly active towards his neighbour, be it spiritually or earthly.... if he tries to alleviate his neighbour's hardship in order to comply with divine will. He can only reach God through love, which he demonstrates to God by loving his neighbour. Only this path leads him to the aim. The heart must drive him to carry out what is first conveyed to him intellectually through the offering of the divine word. If the human being is not active then he can constantly receive knowledge intellectually, it does not promote his spiritual development but remains dead spiritual knowledge because it is not utilized accordingly. And that is why life according to God's will is the first condition to mature spiritually, for knowledge will then increase even if the human being does not try to penetrate it intellectually. For through loving activity the human being's heart opens itself to the influx of God's strength of love, and this promotes his knowledge.... by directing his thoughts correctly and thus taking possession of the truth of his own accord, by giving it to him even without brooding and researching about things which lie outside of human knowledge. A righteous and pleasing way of life before God also earns him the power of realization to distinguish truth from error, and therefore a loving person will never walk in error because he is in contact with God through love and God will never be where error is, thus God's presence excludes all error or ignorance. The human being's feelings will always be turned towards truth, even if the intellect is not exceptionally active, for the right knowledge is the result of love but cannot be achieved through human intellect. However, if a loving person also uses his intellect then he can achieve abundant success by penetrating deepest knowledge, divine wisdom, but then for the purpose of passing it on to his fellow human beings, for divine gift is to be utilized. And again, this gift will be recognized and understood by people who live in love, thus who fulfil God's commandments, His will made known to people, who receive the word of God and let it take effect in their hearts.... who are not only listeners but doers of the divine word....

No sólo oyente, sino también hacedor de la Palabra....

Quienes se esfuerzan espiritualmente tienen que luchar por un estilo de vida que corresponda a la voluntad de Dios, porque sólo éste trae éxito y garantiza el accenso espiritual de los seres humanos. Quien sólo intenta alcanzar el objetivo intelectualmente y no deja que sus pensamientos se conviertan en acción sigue estacando en su desarrollo. Porque sólo el hecho aprueba su voluntad hacia lo más alto, hacia Dios. Y es por eso que sólo el ser humano que vive según la voluntad de Dios puede madurar en la cognición.... que no sólo es oyente sino también hacedor de Su Palabra que le da a conocer la voluntad divina. Su conocimiento sólo puede aumentar y convertirse en conocimiento real cuando utiliza el conocimiento que ya ha recibido, es decir, sigue la Palabra divina y actúa amorosamente con su prójimo, ya sea espiritual o terrenal.... cuando trata de aliviar la necesidad de su prójimo para corresponder a la voluntad divina.

Sólo puede llegar a Dios a través del amor, que le demuestra a Dios mediante actos de amor hacia el prójimo. Sólo este camino le lleva al objetivo. El corazón debe impulsarlo a realizar lo que sólo se le comunica intelectualmente mediante la presentación de la Palabra divina. Si un ser humano no actúa, puede absorber constantemente conocimiento intelectualmente; pero esto no promueve su desarrollo espiritual, sino que sigue siendo propiedad intelectual muerta porque no se utiliza de forma adecuada.

Y por eso vivir según la voluntad de Dios es la primera condición para poder madurar espiritualmente, porque así se aumenta el conocimiento, aunque el ser humano no intenta penetrar en ello intelectualmente. Porque al actuar en amor, el corazón humano se abre al influjo del poder del amor de Dios, y esto promueve su conocimiento.... en el sentido de que sus pensamientos son guiados correctamente y, por lo tanto, por sí mismo toma posesión de la verdad tal como le es dada también sin reflexionar o investigar cosas que están más allá del conocimiento humano.

Un estilo de vida que sea justo y agradable a Dios también le da el poder del conocimiento para distinguir la verdad del error y, por lo tanto, un ser humano amoroso nunca caminará en el error porque está en conexión con Dios a través del amor y Dios nunca estará donde hay error, por lo que la presencia de Dios excluye cualquier error o desconocimiento. El sentimiento del ser humano siempre estará dirigida hacia la verdad, incluso si el entendimiento no está excepcionalmente activo, porque el conocimiento correcto es el resultado del amor y que no puede lograrse mediante el entendimiento humano.

Sin embargo, si una persona amorosa también utiliza su entendimiento, entonces puede lograr abundantes éxitos al penetrar en el conocimiento más profundo, en la sabiduría divina, pero con el propósito de transmitirla a sus semejantes, porque los dones divinos deben ser utilizados. Y nuevamente este don será reconocido y comprendido por los humanos que viven en el amor, es decir, cumplen los mandamientos de Dios, Su voluntad dada a conocer a los seres humanos que reciben la Palabra de Dios y la dejan obrar en sus corazones.... que no sólo son oidores, sino hacedores de la Palabra divina....
