Truth - calm and inner peace....

How erroneous people's thinking is can be seen from the fact that they lack the blissful tranquillity of the knower who constantly draws strength from the right knowledge which corresponds to truth. And as long as this tranquillity does not dominate a person's nature he does not yet live in truth, i.e. in the right knowledge of them, for he can certainly also have intellectually received the truth within himself but nevertheless need not live in knowledge if it has not yet become mental property, thus he has received it with heart and intellect. Pure truth must also bring people inner peace, for pure truth is a gift from God which He bestows upon the person who is worthy of such a gift. And divine gift will always make happy. Humanity, however, is in a state of disruption, restlessness, searching, trepidation and constant uncertainty; it is plagued by doubts and willingly rejects what it previously thought to be truth. But it would hold fast to the pure truth and defend it with tenacity and steadfastness. But it does not yet possess the pure truth.... otherwise the great suffering would not pass over the earth either.... For truth guarantees right thinking, and right thinking does not result in such chaos as the earth is in at present. Wherever truth is proclaimed there is a haven of peace, and anyone who accepts the truth can likewise enter this haven of peace. For even if the greatest restlessness prevails around him and the greatest discord rages, the bearers of truth will be little affected by it because the truth itself already protects them from falling into a restless state. Truth bearers are connected to God and the world can no longer take away the inner peace that radiates from God into their hearts. It can only outwardly oppress the body but no longer seriously endanger the soul, and this security of the soul also radiates to the whole person so that he stands safely and calmly in the midst of the storm of the world.... For truth has strength within itself once it touches the human being's heart and is accepted by the human being's will. This power must overcome all opposing forces because it is stronger than them. Only when the human being stands in truth, in recognition, does his aim stand tangibly before him, and then he strives unswervingly towards this aim and can no longer be shaken in his security and tranquillity. He is indeed still physically exposed to the hardships of life but even these no longer seem so immense that they make him timid as soon as he takes refuge in the eternal truth, in the word of God, the truth which has become form, for the strength of the divine word noticeably flows through him and restores his inner calm. But where there is error, there will also be a constant state of perplexity, the greater and more oppressive the deeper the human being stands in error.... But the world at present represents an immense amount of error and is alarmingly far from the truth. Truth, however, is light, error is darkness; and where there is darkness there will also be confusion, chaos, which is earthly and spiritually threatening, for divine order will no longer be observed because darkness no longer allows it to be recognized. Therefore, where there is error there will also be wrong actions, for erroneous teachings result in erroneous thinking and this in turn causes actions which contradict divine order. And the fact that the world's thinking is completely wrong is evident from its actions which represent a single work of destruction, which are directed against the divine will of creation, which cause utmost harm to fellow human beings and thus completely contradict the divine commandment of love.... Such deeds can only give birth to a wrong will, a wrong thinking, which again only emerged from the error which is spread in the world as truth. Where error is, there is also unkindness, for where love is taught and also practiced, there is truth, because God Himself, Who is the eternal truth, is also where love is. For truth and love are inseparable.... And therefore erroneous thinking can inevitably be concluded where unkindness spreads, and erroneous thinking is the result of erroneous teachings.... And this is why truth shall prevail against error, this is why God Himself sends bearers of truth amongst people to impart it to them so that they will find their way out of the chaotic state, so that they will become acquainted with the blissful inner peace which only truth can bring them, which has an effect both spiritually as well as earthly, for earthly conditions will also visibly improve once truth has taken hold amongst humanity and love has also found its way in with it. Then there will be light and peace and tranquillity, because with truth and love God Himself is close to people and light and strength constantly emanates from Him and the human soul finds peace in realization, in the right knowledge which makes it unspeakably happy....

Wahrheit - Ruhe und innerer Frieden....

Wie irrig das Denken der Menschen ist, geht daraus hervor, daß ihnen die beglückende Ruhe des Wissenden mangelt, der aus dem rechten Wissen, das der Wahrheit entspricht, ständig Kraft schöpfet. Und solange diese Ruhe nicht das Wesen eines Menschen beherrscht, steht er noch nicht in der Wahrheit, d.h. in der rechten Erkenntnis derer, denn er kann die Wahrheit wohl auch verstandesmäßig in sich aufgenommen haben, braucht aber dennoch nicht in der Erkenntnis zu stehen, so sie noch nicht gedankliches Eigentum geworden ist, er sie also mit Herz und Verstand aufgenommen hat. Die reine Wahrheit muß den Menschen auch den inneren Frieden bringen, denn die reine Wahrheit ist ein Geschenk Gottes, das Er dem Menschen zuwendet, der eines solchen Geschenkes würdig ist. Und göttliche Gabe wird stets beglücken. Die Menschheit aber befindet sich in einem Zustand der Zerrüttung, der Ruhelosigkeit, des Suchens, des Bangens und einer ständigen Ungewißheit, sie ist geplagt von Zweifeln und verwirft bereitwillig, was sie zuvor für Wahrheit hielt. An der reinen Wahrheit aber würde sie festhalten und sie voller Zähigkeit und Standhaftigkeit verteidigen. Sie aber besitzt die reine Wahrheit noch nicht.... ansonsten auch nicht das übergroße Leid über die Erde gehen würde.... Denn die Wahrheit bürgt für rechtes Denken, und rechtes Denken zieht nicht ein solches Chaos nach sich, wie es zur Zeit die Erde aufweist. Wo die Wahrheit verkündet wird, ist ein Hort des Friedens, und wer die Wahrheit annimmt, kann gleichfalls in diesen Friedenshort einziehen. Denn ob auch um ihn herum die größte Ruhelosigkeit herrscht und der größte Unfrieden tobt, die Wahrheitsträger werden wenig berührt davon, weil die Wahrheit selbst sie schon dagegen schützt, in einen ruhelosen Zustand zu verfallen. Wahrheitsträger sind mit Gott verbunden, und die Welt kann ihnen nicht mehr den inneren Frieden nehmen, der von Gott ausstrahlt in ihre Herzen. Sie kann nur noch äußerlich den Leib bedrängen, die Seele aber nicht mehr ernstlich gefährden, und diese Sicherheit der Seele strahlt auch auf den ganzen Menschen aus, so daß er mitten im Sturm der Welt sicher und ruhig steht.... Denn die Wahrheit hat die Kraft in sich, so sie einmal des Menschen Herz berührt und vom Willen des Menschen angenommen wird. Diese Kraft muß alle Gegenkräfte überwinden, weil sie stärker ist als diese. Erst wenn der Mensch in der Wahrheit, im Erkennen steht, steht sein Ziel greifbar vor ihm, und dann strebt er diesem Ziel unbeirrbar entgegen und läßt sich nicht mehr in seiner Sicherheit und Ruhe erschüttern. Körperlich ist er zwar auch den Mühsalen des Lebens noch ausgesetzt, doch auch diese erscheinen ihm nicht mehr so gewaltig, daß sie ihn zaghaft werden lassen, sowie er zur ewigen Wahrheit, zu dem Wort Gottes, der Form gewordenen Wahrheit, Zuflucht nimmt, denn die Kraft des göttlichen Wortes durchströmt ihn merklich und gibt ihm die innere Ruhe zurück. Wo aber ein Irrtum ist, dort wird auch ein ständiger Zustand der Ratlosigkeit sein, desto größer und bedrückender, je tiefer der Mensch im Irrtum steht.... Die Welt aber vertritt zur Zeit ein Unmaß von Irrtum und steht der Wahrheit bedenklich fern. Wahrheit aber ist Licht, Irrtum Finsternis; und wo Finsternis ist, wird auch ein Durcheinander sein, ein Chaos, das irdisch und geistig bedrohlich ist, denn die göttliche Ordnung wird nicht mehr innegehalten, weil die Finsternis solche nicht mehr erkennen läßt. Wo der Irrtum ist, wird daher auch falsches Handeln sein, denn irrige Lehren ziehen irriges Denken nach sich, und dieses wieder veranlaßt Taten, die der göttlichen Ordnung widersprechen. Und daß die Welt in völlig irrigem Denken steht, geht aus ihren Handlungen hervor, die ein einziges Vernichtungswerk darstellen, die sich gegen den göttlichen Schöpfungswillen richten, die dem Mitmenschen größten Schaden zufügen und also völlig dem göttlichen Gebot der Liebe widersprechen.... Solche Taten gebären kann nur ein verkehrter Wille, ein verkehrtes Denken, das wieder nur aus dem Irrtum hervorgegangen ist, der als Wahrheit in der Welt verbreitet wird. Wo Irrtum ist, dort ist auch Lieblosigkeit, denn wo die Liebe gelehrt und auch geübt wird, dort ist Wahrheit, weil Gott Selbst, Der die ewige Wahrheit ist, auch dort ist, wo die Liebe ist. Denn Wahrheit und Liebe sind unzertrennlich.... Und darum kann unweigerlich auf irriges Denken geschlossen werden, wo sich die Lieblosigkeit breitmacht, und irriges Denken ist die Folge irriger Lehren.... Und darum soll die Wahrheit vorgehen gegen den Irrtum, darum sendet Gott Selbst die Wahrheitsträger unter die Menschen, daß ihnen jene vermittelt wird, auf daß sie aus dem chaotischen Zustand herausfinden, auf daß sie die beglückende innere Ruhe kennenlernen, die ihnen allein nur die Wahrheit einträgt, die sowohl geistig als auch irdisch sich auswirkt, denn auch die irdischen Zustände bessern sich zusehends, sowie die Wahrheit einmal Platz gegriffen hat unter der Menschheit und mit ihr auch die Liebe Eingang gefunden hat. Dann wird Licht sein und Ruhe und Frieden, weil mit der Wahrheit und der Liebe Gott Selbst den Menschen nahe ist und von Ihm ständig Licht und Kraft ausgeht und die menschliche Seele den Frieden findet in der Erkenntnis, in dem rechten Wissen, das sie unsagbar beglückt....
