Resistances increase willpower....

Anyone who declares himself willing to work for the kingdom of God will always be blessed, even if he does not obviously feel the blessing. Although he often has to fight against resistance in order to strengthen his will, all these resistances contribute to the fact that the person will then work all the more diligently, that spiritual activity will always become more important to him and he will use every moment to serve God. But God knows why He sends trials upon him.... He cannot use lukewarm and indolent labourers in His vineyard, for they will not be successful with the people on whom they are to carry out their spiritual work. The kingdom of God demands militant fighters who only fight with such weapons as are compatible with the commandment of love for God and neighbour.... they must fight with the sword of their mouth, they must teach, admonish, warn and correct error and lies, they themselves must have knowledge to pass on this knowledge.... And this way of fighting requires perseverance and strength of will. It is a spiritual battle which again and again necessitates devotion to God and does not tolerate lukewarmness and sloth. For it is still moving along calmly, but very soon God's fighters will have to prove to themselves to what extent their will is firm and whether they use their weapons correctly. Admittedly, the opposition will become greater and greater but anyone who has once offered himself to Him as God's fighter will not fall away from Him but will need the supply of strength in various degrees. And that is why he should already practice himself in constant battle with oppositions beforehand.... He will always feel that God's adversary wants to stop his striving, and the difficulties with which the one who wants to serve God has to struggle will be ever greater. And yet, his will must not be shattered, it must be stronger than the resistance, and God also blesses such a will. The fact that God allows it is due to the fact that the human being has to be strengthened against even harder attacks from the world, which will want to prevent him from all spiritual work without secrecy. For God's adversary fights with all weapons in the last days and will stop at nothing. Yet God will not remain hidden even in this difficult time of battle, He will distribute strength where it is needed, He will teach and enable people to work in His vineyard, He will donate strength and power in the battle against the enemy of the souls. Yet He only requires the human being's will for this, and in order to form it into supreme strength He allows adversities to come upon the human being, for these increase his power of resistance....

Le avversità aumentano la forza di volontà

Chi si dichiara pronto per la collaborazione per il Regno di Dio, la sua attività sarà sempre benedetta, persino quando non sente con evidenza la Benedizione. Per la fortificazione della sua volontà deve comunque sovente lottare con delle avversità, ma tutte queste contribuiscono affinché l’uomo allora lavori con maggior fervore, che l’attività spirituale diventi per lui sempre più importante e sfrutti ogni momento per servire Dio. Ma Dio sà del perché manda su di lui le prove. Egli non può usare degli operai tiepidi e pigri nella Sua Vigna, perché questi non avranno successo presso gli uomini sui quali devono esercitare il loro lavoro spirituale. Egli esige dei guerrieri combattenti che combattono solo con tali armi che vanno d’accordo con il Comandamento dell’amore per Dio e per il prossimo, devono lottare con la spada della loro bocca, devono insegnare, ammonire, avvertire e correggere l’errore e la menzogna, loro stessi devono disporre di un sapere per darlo oltre. E questo modo di combattere richiede perseveranza e forza di volontà. E’ una lotta spirituale che richiede sempre di nuovo la dedizione a Dio e non tollera nessuna tiepidezza né ozio. Perché si muove ancora in corsie calme, ma molto presto i combattenti di Dio dovranno affermarsi, fin dove è consolidata la loro volontà e se usano bene le loro armi. Le avversità diventeranno bensì sempre più grandi, ma chi si è una volta offerto a Dio come combattente, non cadrà da Lui, ma avrà bisogno di maggior apporto di Forza in differente vigore. E perciò deve già dapprima esercitarsi nella costante lotta con le avversità. Avrà sempre da sentire che l’avversario di Dio vuole minare il suo tendere e le difficoltà con le quali ha da combattere colui che vuole servire Dio saranno sempre maggiori. E malgrado ciò, la sua volontà non deve sfracellarsi su queste, dev’essere più forte delle avversità e Dio benedice anche una tale volontà. Che da Parte di Dio questo venga ammesso, ha la sua motivazione che l’uomo dev’essere fortificato contro aggressioni ancora più dure da parte del mondo, che senza segretezza lo vorranno ostacolare in qualsiasi lavoro spirituale. Perché l’avversario di Dio combatte con tutte le armi nell’ultimo tempo e non teme nulla. Ma Dio non rimarrà nascosto nemmeno in questo difficile tempo di lotta, Egli effonderà la Forza dove questa è necessaria, Egli insegnerà e renderà l’uomo capace per il lavoro nella Sua Vigna, donerà Forza e potere nella lotta contro il nemico delle anime. Ma per questo Egli ha bisogno solo della volontà dell’uomo e per formare questa alla forza più alta, Egli lascia venire sull’uomo delle avversità, perché queste aumentano la sua forza di resistenza.
