God's means in the end times....

God uses the most effective means to win souls during the last days because His love still wants to bring salvation to the weak. Yet people are so far removed from faith that they try to explain even extraordinary working naturally rather than believing in God's strength, and therefore they will also pay little attention to the miracles in the last days, which are likewise only means to revive or strengthen faith. People of the last days are completely secularized, they don't believe in life after death, in a power Which holds them accountable and thus also not in an extraordinary manifestation of this power, they don't believe in the power of prayer, in a connection with the spiritual kingdom, and therefore they cannot be made aware of the last judgment either since they will only mock and reject such references. They believe to be completely enlightened and reject every spiritual conversation, which is why they also know nothing of the phenomena of the last days which are now taking place before their eyes and yet remain without impression. Yet even among these people there are those who have no opinion of their own and are, as it were, followers, and God remembers them and tries to draw their attention to them through all kinds of misfortunes. He informs them of His will through His word and makes them think about the events which move the whole world and clearly reveal the divine will. For if they are given indications of the end times from several sides they will pay attention to their arrival and they will not completely close their ears when God's will is made known to them. There are only a few of them, and yet God also courts these few, for He tries to win every soul in order to spare it a repeated walk on earth. The means God still uses as the last appear so unloving and cruel that it is difficult to present them to people as God's proof of love, and yet they can only be explained by God's great love.... For as soon as the end is imminent there is no more opportunity to mature on this earth, and the fate of souls which cannot be taught and which sin against the eternal deity anew through their will is such an extremely agonizing and merciful one that every saved soul is eternally grateful to its creator for the means His love has used. He sends His messengers to the weak, He tries to persuade the hardened to give up their resistance against Him through extraordinary suffering, and He tries to make the decision easy for those who are still undecided by providing proof through faithful people that faith carries strength within itself.... by letting them accomplish extraordinary things by calling upon His name and by bringing Himself close to people, revealing Himself to them in the word and announcing the end to them. He woos His living creations with all love, which are in danger of completely falling away from Him, and He uses every conceivable means, but He does not force them to comply with His ideas but leaves them complete freedom. Yet they will also have to bear the responsibility if they push away the loving hand which wants to seize them time and again before the end....

종말의 때에 하나님의 수단.

종말의 때에 하나님은 혼들을 얻기 위해 가장 효과가 있는 수단을 사용한다. 왜냐면 그의 사랑이 연약한 사람을 아직 구원하기를 원하기 때문이다. 그러나 사람들이 믿음으로부터 아주 멀리 떨어져 있어 그들은 특별한 역사 자체도 하나님의 능력으로 믿기 보다 자연적인 일로 설명하려고 시도한다. 그러므로 그들은 종말의 때에 동시에 믿음을 살아나게 하거나 또는 믿음을 강하게 하기 위한 수단인 기적에 단지 적게 주의를 기울일 것이다.

그러나 종말의 때의 사람들은 전적으로 세상적이 되었고 죽음 후의 삶을 그에게 책임을 묻는 한 권세를 믿지 않는다. 그러므로 이 권세가 특별하게 나타내는 능력의 표시를 믿지 않고 기도의 권세를 믿지 않고 영의 나라와의 연결을 믿지 않는다. 그러므로 그들에게 마지막 심판을 알려줄 수 없다. 왜냐면 그들은 이런 알림을 단지 조롱하고 거부하기 때문이다. 그들은 전적으로 깨우침 받은 상태에 있다고 믿고 모든 영적인 대화를 거부한다. 그러므로 그들은 이제 그들의 눈 앞에 일어나지만 그러나 영향을 받지 못하는 종말의 현상을 전혀 알지 못한다.

그러나 이런 사람들 가운데 자신의 의견이 없이 어떤 면에서 따라가는 사람들이 있고 하나님은 이런 사람들을 돕는다. 하나님은 모든 종류의 운명적인 사건들을 통해 그들이 주의를 기울이게 하려고 시도한다. 하나님은 자신의 말씀을 통해 자신의 뜻을 깨닫게 한다. 하나님은 전 세계를 흔들리게 하는 하나님의 뜻을 분명하게 알려주는 일어나는 일을 통해 생각하게 한다. 왜냐면 그들에게 여러 방면에서 종말의 때를 알려주면, 그들이 다가오는 종말에 주의를 기울이기 때문이고 그들에게 하나님의 뜻이 알려지면, 그들은 자신의 귀를 모두 닫지 않을 것이기 때문이다. 그러나 이런 사람은 단지 소수이다. 그럴지라도 하나님은 그들이 새롭게 이 땅의 과정을 가는 일을 피하게 해주기 위해 이런 소수를 얻기를 원한다.

하나님이 마지막으로 사용하는 수단은 아주 사랑이 없고 잔인하게 보여 사람들에게 하나님의 사랑을 증거하기가 어렵다. 그러나 이런 수단은 단지 하나님의 큰 사랑으로 설명할 수 있다. 왜냐면 종말이 다가오면, 이 땅에서 더 이상 성장할 기회가 없기 때문이다. 가르칠 수 없고 그들의 의지로 영원한 하나님에게 대항하여 새롭게 죄를 지은 혼들의 운명은 아주 고통이 충만하고 긍휼히 여길 만하게 된다. 모든 구원을 받은 혼들은 하나님의 사랑이 사용한 수단에 대해 그들의 창조주에게 영원히 감사한다.

하나님은 연약한 사람에게 자신의 종을 보내고 특별한 고난을 통해 강팍한 사람이 자신에 대한 저항을 포기하게 만들려고 시도한다. 하나님은 아직 결정을 하지 못한 사람들에게 믿는 사람을 통해 믿음에 능력이 있다는 증거를 제시하면서 믿는 사람이 자신의 이름을 부르는 가운데 특별한 일들을 행하게 한다. 하나님은 사람들이 자신을 이해할 수 있게 해주고 그들에게 말씀을 통해 자신을 계시하고 종말을 알려주면서 그들이 결정하기 쉽게 해준다. 하나님은 모든 사랑으로 자신을 전적으로 떠날 위험에 있는 피조물들을 모든 사랑으로 얻으려고 한다. 하나님은 모든 생각할 수 있는 수단을 사용한다. 그러나 하나님은 그들이 자신의 생각을 따르도록 강제적으로 정하지 않고 그들에게 전적인 자유를 준다. 그러나 그들이 종말 전에 항상 또 다시 그들을 붙잡기 원하는 사랑의 손길을 뿌리친다면, 그들이 이제 책임을 져야만 한다.
