Will to do good.... increased power....

The will for good will also let increased strength flow to the soul to overcome the body's wishes, for the human being's free will is always taken into account, the currents of strength will always be stronger or weaker according to this will, the transmission of strength through the bearers of light on earth as well as in the spiritual kingdom is of such varying strength because the soul first has to open itself in order to receive it, and this opening is only ever the result of the will. And thus the will, which is turned towards the good, thus towards God, will accept every flow of strength without resistance, the human being will be willing to receive what God's love offers him. And then the soul can also mature, it can, unhindered by the body, join the spirit within itself, it will not have to fear any counteraction because the body also joins this striving and is no longer so accessible to the temptations of the world, even if they still often approach it in order to test and increase the strength of will. And thus the less resistance is now offered to the light bearers' activity the more successful the soul's earthly change will be, for it will start to loosen its fetters, it will strive towards the freedom of spirit and only use the last days of its earthly life to overcome matter, which will also result in an easy detachment from form once its earthly life is over. But man can determine himself, he can turn to every power, the good as well as the bad, he is not hindered, but only guided in loving care, so that it is easy for him to turn to God. But whether he develops the good in himself depends on his will, and therefore he is also responsible for his will, he is as it were the shaper of his will and must also take the consequences upon himself, for it is also brought home to him in all situations in life that and why he should decide for God in the last stage of his development. He is never without knowledge about it, for if this knowledge does not come to him from outside through instructions, through the divine word, he can also hear it from within through the voice of his conscience, which originally instructs him loudly and audibly but which can also be silenced by his own will. However, if the soul succeeds in rendering the body without will, i.e., to completely align its desire with the soul's desire, then the soul will use all its will for good, then it will constantly strive upwards and receive the imparting of strength from the spiritual kingdom which will result in its spiritual perfection, for the strength from the spiritual kingdom inevitably leads to ascent....

De wil voor het goede - Vergrote kracht

De wil voor het goede zal ook vergrote kracht naar de ziel laten stromen om de wensen van het lichaam te overwinnen. Want steeds wordt met de vrije wil van de mens rekening gehouden. Steeds zullen de stromingen van kracht in overeenstemming met deze wil sterker of zwakker zijn. De overdracht van kracht door de lichtdragers is op aarde, net als in het geestelijke rijk, van zo verschillende sterkte, omdat de ziel zich daar eerst helemaal voor moet openen om die in ontvangst te kunnen nemen. En dit openen is altijd pas het gevolg van de wil. En bijgevolg zal de wil die op het goede - dus op God - gericht is, elke krachtstroom zonder weerstand in ontvangst nemen.

De mens zal bereid zijn in ontvangst te nemen, wat de Liefde van God hem aanbiedt. En dan kan ook de ziel rijper worden. Ze kan zich bij de Geest in zich aansluiten, niet gehinderd door het lichaam. Ze zal geen tegenwerking te vrezen hebben, omdat ook het lichaam zich bij dit streven aansluit en voor de verzoekingen door de wereld niet meer zo toegankelijk is, hoewel ze er nog vaak mee wordt geconfronteerd, om de sterkte van de wil te beproeven en te vergroten. En hoe minder weerstand er nu dus wordt geboden aan het werkzaam zijn van de lichtdragers, des te succesvoller is nu de wandel over de aarde voor de ziel. Want ze begint haar boeien los te maken. Ze streeft naar de vrijheid van geest en ze benut de laatste tijd van haar leven op aarde alleen om de materie te overwinnen, wat haar ook een gemakkelijk loslaten van de vorm oplevert als haar levensweg op aarde is beëindigd.

Maar de mens kan over zichzelf beslissen. Hij kan zich naar elke kracht keren, naar zowel de goede als naar de slechte. Hij wordt niet gehinderd, alleen maar in liefdevolle zorg geleid, zodat het voor hem gemakkelijk is om zich naar God te keren. Maar of hij het goede in zich tot ontplooiing brengt, is afhankelijk van zijn wil. En daarom is hij ook verantwoordelijk voor zijn wil. Hij is als het ware de vormgever van zijn wil en moet ook de gevolgen op zich nemen. Want het wordt hem ook in alle levensomstandigheden bijgebracht, dat en waarom hij voor God moet kiezen in het laatste stadium van zijn ontwikkeling.

Hij is daarover nooit zonder weten, wat als dit weten hem niet van buitenaf toekomt door onderrichtingen, door het goddelijke Woord, kan hij het ook binnen in zich vernemen door de stem van zijn geweten, die hem oorspronkelijk luid en verneembaar onderricht, maar die door zijn eigen wil ook tot verstomming kan worden gebracht. Maar lukt het de ziel het lichaam willoos te maken, dat wil zeggen het verlangen ervan helemaal aan het verlangen van de ziel aan te passen, dan gebruikt de ziel de gehele wil voor het goede. Dan zal ze voortdurend opwaarts streven en overdracht van krachten uit het geestelijke rijk in ontvangst nemen, die haar geestelijke voltooiing tot gevolg hebben. Want de kracht uit het geestelijke rijk voert onomstotelijk opwaarts.
