Exhortation to love.... need of the time....

This is the commandment of the hour, that you give love to each other, for the suffering on earth will be so great that you can only reduce it if you help each other, if you make love the guiding principle of your life. The less you think of yourselves, the more you put aside your self-love, the sooner you will be able to banish suffering, for when you are in love you no longer need it for your development and God can take it away from you. People's hearts are hardened, they no longer take an interest in their fellow human being's fate, they pass it by untouched and their souls suffer from too much self-love which, however, is a spiritual regression.... As long as the soul was still in bound will it had to serve and could thereby develop itself upwards, so that free will was now given to it in the last embodiment on earth. It should use this free will again to serve.... it should serve out of love and thereby redeem itself.... For the previous state of compulsion could not earn it the final liberation, even if it brought it considerably closer to the goal. But now it has the opportunity to get rid of its shackles if it moulds itself into love, if it serves out of its own drive, if this drive is love for its fellow human beings.... But love has grown cold among people.... And that is why a constant battle is their lot, a battle on a large and small scale.... a battle of unkindness against each other. Everyone only seeks his own advantage, everyone only seeks to satisfy his ego, and this also results in complete ignorance, a lack of faith, because the human being can only recognize when he is in love. He is in a chaos of thoughts and cannot find a way out of it, he does not know what he should and can believe, he has no power of judgement and therefore he rejects everything that is demanded of him to believe because his selfish love makes him incapable of recognizing the truth. And this is a state of extreme danger which entails unspeakable suffering and misery, because this alone can change a person, because it can educate him to love if he is not completely hardened in his mind and he only allows himself to become even more embittered. The desire for the world and its goods is the cause of wrong love in man, of self-love that disregards the welfare of his fellow man. Where this desire is overcome, self-love also diminishes.... the human being renounces his earthly possessions in order to give them to his fellow human being, and his state becomes freer and lighter. For it is not difficult for him to believe as soon as he only practices love. And the great misery on earth can only be banished through love, it can also be reduced for the individual if he is active in love, because God alone determines through His will what is granted to the individual. The human being, who unconsciously makes contact with God through activity in love, is no longer defencelessly exposed to those who have indirectly caused the suffering. God Himself takes care of him, and He turns the suffering to good when it has fulfilled its purpose.... that it has educated to love activity and changed man's wrong life to eager, unselfish labour of love. Look within yourselves and recognize the need of the time.... Know that only unkindness is the cause of all suffering, and that you can only remedy the latter if you change yourselves.... For without love you cannot redeem yourselves, without love you cannot be saved.... God as eternal love can only be close to you when you yourselves become love and eternal bliss is only conceivable in closeness to God when His love seizes you and can make you happy....

사랑을 행하라는 권면. 고난의 시간.

너희가 서로에게 사랑을 베풀라는 계명이 이 시간에 주는 계명이다. 왜냐면 이 땅의 고난은 너무 커서, 단지 한 사람이 다른 사람에게 도움을 주며 함께 하고, 너희가 사랑을 삶의 지침으로 삼아야만 고난을 줄일 수 있기 때문이다. 너희가 너희 자신을 덜 생각할수록, 자기 사랑을 뒤로 할 수록, 너희는 고난을 더 빨리 벗어날 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 너희가 사랑 안에 거하면, 너희 성장을 더 이상 위해 고난이 필요하지 않고, 하나님이 고난을 너희에게서 거두어 드릴 수 있기 때문이다. 인간의 심장은 강팍해져 있고, 더 이상 이웃 사람의 운명을 동정하지 않고, 아무런 영향을 받지 않고 지나친다. 그들의 혼은 너무 큰 자기 사랑으로 병들어 있다. 그러나 이런 자기 사랑은 영적인 퇴보이다.

혼이 아직 묶인 의지를 가진 동안에는, 혼은 섬겨야만 했고, 그렇게 하여 정상까지 성장할 수 있었다. 이로써 이제 혼에게 이 땅에서 마지막 육신을 입는 가운데 자유의지가 주어졌다. 혼은 이런 자유의지를 다시 섬기기 위해 사용해야 하고, 사랑으로 섬겨야 하고, 이를 통해 자신을 구원해야 한다. 왜냐면 비록 이전의 의무의 단계에서 혼이 목표에 훨씬 더 가까워졌을 지라도, 이 전의 의무단계가 혼을 최종적으로 자유롭게 해줄 수 없었기 때문이다. 그러나 이제 혼이 스스로 자신을 사랑으로 형성하고, 이웃 사람을 향한 사랑으로 자신이 동인이 되어 섬긴다면, 혼은 자신의 속박을 벗어날 수 있는 가능성이 있다.

그러나 사람들 사이에 사랑이 식어졌다. 그러므로 끊임없는 싸움이 그들의 운명이 된다. 이 싸움은 크고 작은 규모의 싸움이고, 서로를 향한 사랑이 없는 싸움이다. 모든 사람이 단지 자신의 이익만을 추구하고, 모든 사람이 단지 자신을 만족시키려고 하고, 이런 일은 또한 완전한 무지와 믿음이 사라지는 결과를 초래한다. 왜냐면 사람이 사랑 안에 거할 때, 사람이 단지 깨달을 수 있기 때문이다. 그는 생각의 혼돈에 빠져, 벗어날 길을 찾을 수 없고, 무엇을 믿어야 하고, 무엇을 믿을 수 있는지를 알지 못한다. 그에게는 판단할 능력이 없다. 그러므로 그는 자신에게 믿도록 요구하는 모든 것을 거부한다. 왜냐면 자기 사랑이 그가 진리를 깨달을 수 없게 만들기 때문이다.

이런 상태는 말로 표현할 수 없는 고통과 비참함을 주는 극도로 위험한 상태이다. 왜냐면 유일하게 단지 고통과 비참함이 사람을 변화시킬 수 있고, 그가 완전히 완고하지 않고, 자신을 더 많이 괴롭히는 일을 허용하지 않는다면, 그를 사랑으로 양육할 수 있기 때문이다. 세상과 세상의 재물을 향한 욕망이 인간 안의 잘못된 사랑의 원인이고, 이웃 사람의 행복에 주의를 기울이지 않는 자기 사랑의 원인이다. 이런 욕망을 극복하면, 자기 사랑도 줄어들고, 사람은 이 땅의 재물을 이웃 사람에게 주기 위해 이 땅의 재물을 희생한다. 그의 상태는 더 자유롭게 되고, 밝아진다.

왜냐면 그가 단지 사랑을 행한다면, 그에게 믿는 일이 어렵지 않기 때문이다. 이 땅의 큰 비참함은 단지 사랑을 통해서만 벗어날 수 있다. 사람이 사랑을 행한다면, 각각의 사람에게 고난이 줄어들 수 있다. 왜냐면 하나님이 유일하게 자신의 뜻을 통해 개인에게 부여되는 고난을 정하기 때문이다. 사랑을 행함으로 무의식적으로 하나님과 접촉하는 사람은 더 이상 보호 없이 간접적으로 고난을 일으킨 사람들에게 노출되지 않는다. 하나님 자신이 그를 돌보고, 고난이 사랑을 행하도록 양육하고, 인간의 잘못된 삶에서 열심히 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑을 행하도록 바꾸는 목적을 이루었을 때, 하나님은 고난을 선으로 바꾼다.

자신의 내면으로 들어가, 시대의 위험을 깨달으라. 단지 사랑이 없음이 모든 고난의 원인이고, 너희 자신을 바꾸면, 시대의 위험을 단지 해결할 수 있다는 것을 알라. 왜냐면 사랑이 없이는 너희가 너희 자신을 구원할 수 없고, 사랑이 없이는 너희가 축복될 수 없기 때문이다. 영원한 사랑인 하나님은 너희 자신이 사랑이 될 때 단지 너희에게 가까이 다가갈 수 있고, 영원한 축복은 하나님의 사랑이 너희를 붙잡고, 너희를 행복하게 해줄 수 있을 때, 하나님 가까이에서 가능하다._>아멘
