Exhortation to love.... need of the time....

This is the commandment of the hour, that you give love to each other, for the suffering on earth will be so great that you can only reduce it if you help each other, if you make love the guiding principle of your life. The less you think of yourselves, the more you put aside your self-love, the sooner you will be able to banish suffering, for when you are in love you no longer need it for your development and God can take it away from you. People's hearts are hardened, they no longer take an interest in their fellow human being's fate, they pass it by untouched and their souls suffer from too much self-love which, however, is a spiritual regression.... As long as the soul was still in bound will it had to serve and could thereby develop itself upwards, so that free will was now given to it in the last embodiment on earth. It should use this free will again to serve.... it should serve out of love and thereby redeem itself.... For the previous state of compulsion could not earn it the final liberation, even if it brought it considerably closer to the goal. But now it has the opportunity to get rid of its shackles if it moulds itself into love, if it serves out of its own drive, if this drive is love for its fellow human beings.... But love has grown cold among people.... And that is why a constant battle is their lot, a battle on a large and small scale.... a battle of unkindness against each other. Everyone only seeks his own advantage, everyone only seeks to satisfy his ego, and this also results in complete ignorance, a lack of faith, because the human being can only recognize when he is in love. He is in a chaos of thoughts and cannot find a way out of it, he does not know what he should and can believe, he has no power of judgement and therefore he rejects everything that is demanded of him to believe because his selfish love makes him incapable of recognizing the truth. And this is a state of extreme danger which entails unspeakable suffering and misery, because this alone can change a person, because it can educate him to love if he is not completely hardened in his mind and he only allows himself to become even more embittered. The desire for the world and its goods is the cause of wrong love in man, of self-love that disregards the welfare of his fellow man. Where this desire is overcome, self-love also diminishes.... the human being renounces his earthly possessions in order to give them to his fellow human being, and his state becomes freer and lighter. For it is not difficult for him to believe as soon as he only practices love. And the great misery on earth can only be banished through love, it can also be reduced for the individual if he is active in love, because God alone determines through His will what is granted to the individual. The human being, who unconsciously makes contact with God through activity in love, is no longer defencelessly exposed to those who have indirectly caused the suffering. God Himself takes care of him, and He turns the suffering to good when it has fulfilled its purpose.... that it has educated to love activity and changed man's wrong life to eager, unselfish labour of love. Look within yourselves and recognize the need of the time.... Know that only unkindness is the cause of all suffering, and that you can only remedy the latter if you change yourselves.... For without love you cannot redeem yourselves, without love you cannot be saved.... God as eternal love can only be close to you when you yourselves become love and eternal bliss is only conceivable in closeness to God when His love seizes you and can make you happy....

Ammonimento all'amore - La miseria del tempo

Il Comandamento del momento è che vi diate reciproco amore, perché la sofferenza sulla Terra sarà così grande, che la potete diminuire soltanto se l'uno assiste aiutando l'altro, se vi fate dell'amore la linea di condotta della vita. Meno pensate a voi stessi, più retrocedete il vostro amore dell'io, prima sarete in grado di bandire la sofferenza, perché quando vi trovate nell'amore, non ne avrete più bisogno per il vostro sviluppo, e Dio la può togliere da voi. I cuori degli uomini sono induriti, non partecipano più al destino del prossimo, ma passano oltre senza esserne toccati, e la loro anima è malata del troppo grande amor proprio, che però è una retrocessione spirituale. Finché l'anima si trovava ancora nella volontà legata, doveva servire e poteva perciò svilupparsi verso l'Alto, in modo che ora le venne data la libera volontà nell'ultima incorporazione sulla Terra. Lei deve di nuovo usare questa libera volontà per servire, deve servire per amore e con ciò redimersi, perché il precedente stato dell'obbligo non le poteva procurare la definitiva liberazione, anche se la portava notevolmente più vicina alla meta. Ma ora ha la possibilità di privarsi delle sue catene, se lei stessa si forma nell'amore, se serve per propria spinta, se questa spinta è l'amore per il prossimo. Ma l'amore si è raffreddato fra gli uomini. Perciò la sua sorte è una costante lotta, sia nel grande, come nel piccolo, una lotta reciproca del disamore. Ognuno cerca soltanto il suo proprio vantaggio, ognuno cerca soltanto di accontentare il suo io, e questo ha anche per conseguenza una totale ignoranza, un'assenza di fede, perché l'uomo può riconoscere solamente, se si trova nell'amore. Egli è in un caos di pensieri e non ne trova una via d'uscita, non sa che cosa deve e può credere, non ha nessuna facoltà di giudizio, perciò rigetta tutto ciò che viene chiesto a lui di credere, perché l'amor proprio lo rende incapace di riconoscere la Verità. E questo è uno stato del più estremo pericolo, che ha per conseguenza indicibile sofferenza e miseria, perché questo lo può cambiare soltanto l'uomo, perché lo può educare all'amore, se non è del tutto di mentalità incaparbita e si lasci ancora di più amareggiare. Il desiderio per il mondo ed i suoi beni è la causa dell'amore invertito nell'uomo, nell'amore dell'io, che lascia inosservato il bene del prossimo. Dove questo desiderio viene superato, là cede anche l'amor proprio, l'uomo si libera dei beni terreni, per rivolgere questi al prossimo ed il suo stato diventa più libero e più luminoso, perché non gli è nemmeno difficile credere, appena esercita soltanto l'amore. La grande miseria sulla Terra può essere ancora vinta ma solo tramite l'amore, può essere diminuita anche per il singolo se si attiva nell'amore, perché Dio soltanto determina attraverso la Sua Volontà che cosa è destinato al singolo. L'uomo, che prende inconsciamente contatto con Dio attraverso l'agire nell'amore, non è più esposto senza protezione a coloro, che hanno causato indirettamente la sofferenza. Dio Stesso Si prende Cura di lui, ed Egli rivolge la sofferenza al bene, quando ha compiuto il suo scopo, quando ha educato all'attività d'amore e cambiato la vita sbagliata dell'uomo in un fervente agire d'amore disinteressato. ntrate in voi e riconoscete la miseria del tempo. Sappiate, che soltanto il disamore è la causa di ogni sofferenza e che potete eliminare quest'ultima soltanto, quando voi stessi cambiate, perché senza amore non potete redimervi, senza amore non potete diventare beati. Dio come l'eterno Amore può Esservi vicino solamente, quando voi stessi diventate amore e l'eterna beatitudine è immaginabile soltanto vicino a Dio, quando il Suo Amore vi afferra e vi può rendere felici.
