The spiritual low is recognizable in times of need....

The spiritual low will become particularly apparent when a general adversity will affect people and therefore turning to God is the only thing that could bring them help. But they will not take this path because they lack faith in a loving and merciful God. And this faith alone allows them to endure the most difficult things. But where faith is lacking, there will be indescribable chaos.... fear and worry will make people despair who do not know of one Who is close to them. And people will fear for their lives and no one will come to their aid.... yet they will not remember the one Who can help them. Their hearts are empty and so is their spirit, they only see the earthly horrors and hardships, they see everything around them falling apart, they see their possessions being lost and they have no consolation, no hope and no explanation for the terrible misfortune that affects them, for they do not realize the necessity of that which shakes their whole thinking. They will leave their neighbour in need without help, for they are only concerned with saving their property and keeping their lives safe. And it will turn out how distant people are from God, how they only pray to Him with their lips when they call upon Him or mention His name, but only very few will seriously remember the creator and commend themselves to Him and His grace, and these few will be mocked and ridiculed by their fellow human beings. In their distance from God, they lack all faith in an almighty, wise and loving creator. They only know the world and it is threatening to collapse.... And the spiritual low of people is clearly recognizable, because they are only attached to earthly life and do not think about their soul and life after death. They fear losing their lives and are therefore extremely worried, but they do not think about their spiritual hardship, which has a far more bitter effect in the beyond than the most difficult fate on earth can have. Yet the adversity is unavoidable, for the spiritual low will not lift without it, but God remembers the few who find Him in this adversity and are saved by it for eternity....

Il basso stato spirituale è riconoscibile nei tempi di miseria

Il basso stato spirituale si manifesterà particolarmente forte quando una miseria generale colpirà gli uomini e quindi rifugiarsi in Dio è l’unica cosa che potrebbe aiutare loro. Ma non prenderanno questa via perché manca loro la fede in un Dio amorevole e misericordioso. Questa fede soltanto lascia sopportare le maggiori difficoltà. Dove però manca la fede vi sarà un indescrivibile caos, paura e preoccupazione farà dubitare gli uomini che non sanno al di sopra di loro l’Uno, il Quale E’ vicino a loro. Gli uomini temeranno per la loro vita e nessuno verrà loro in aiuto, ma non pensano all’Uno Che può aiutarli. Nei loro cuori c’è un vuoto e vuoto quindi è anche nello spirito, vedono soltanto gli spaventi e miserie terreni, vedono decadere tutto intorno a loro, vedono andare perduto il possesso e non hanno nessun conforto, nessuna speranza e nessuna spiegazione per l’orrenda sciagura che li riguarda, perché non sanno della necessità di ciò che sconvolge tutto il loro pensare. Lasceranno il prossimo nella miseria senza aiuto, perché intendono soltanto salvare la loro proprietà e mettere al sicuro la loro vita.

Si dimostrerà quanto lontani sono gli uomini da Dio, come pregano Lui soltanto con le labbra, quando Lo invocano oppure portano nella bocca il suo Nome, ma soltanto molto pochi penseranno seriamente al Creatore e si raccomanderanno a Lui ed alla Sua Grazia, e questi pochi verranno scherniti e derisi dai prossimi. Nella loro lontananza da Dio manca ogni fede in un Creatore onnipotente, saggio ed amorevole. Conoscono soltanto il mondo e questo minaccia di crollare.

Il basso stato spirituale degli uomini è chiaramente riconoscibile, perché sono attaccati solo alla vita terrena e non pensano alla loro anima dopo la morte. Temono di perdere la loro vita e perciò sono nella massima preoccupazione, ma non pensano alla loro miseria spirituale che ha un amaro effetto, più grande nell’aldilà di quanto possa essere la sorte più difficile sulla Terra. La miseria è però inevitabile, perché senza questa il basso stato spirituale non viene sollevato, ma a Dio pensano soltanto pochi che in questa miseria trovano Lui e da questa vengono salvati per l’Eternità.
