Reshaping the soul.... view of God....

People have to realize how little they consider the shaping of their souls and how little they are therefore able to accept spiritual currents and let them have an effect on them. And the consequence of this is that their earthly life does not bring them any spiritual progress and that life after death is corresponding, i.e. that the soul, as an imperfect being, can neither feel God's closeness nor His emanation of love and thus life in the beyond is joyless, which is tantamount to an agonizing state, because only God's closeness triggers the feeling of happiness, which is the epitome of eternal bliss.... This deprivation is agonizing because it is synonymous with powerlessness and a life of powerlessness is a life of inactivity and cannot really be called life. And there is no other means to come to the contemplation of God and therefore also to the supply of strength from God than that the soul must make up in the beyond for what it neglected to do on earth.... to mould itself into love and thus into all the virtues it neglected on earth. Only a perfect soul can attain the vision of God, and therefore all faults and weaknesses must first be discarded, the soul must change, it must mould itself such that it becomes like God, because the vision of God requires union with God. On earth this work of reshaping the soul is an easy one because the human being can do anything he wants due to the constant flow of life energy towards him; and people do not use this for the transformation of their souls but only for earthly activity which is useless for the life in the beyond if it does not consist of loving activity. Only the activity, which is at the same time a serving in love, contributes to the reshaping of the soul, and this serving love activity is mostly only then carried out when the fellow human being is in need. But people no longer pay attention to the small needs of their fellow human being, and this causes God to send a general need over humanity in order to help, awaken or strengthen the impulse in them. For only active neighbourly love shapes the human soul in such a way that its state in the beyond is a happy one, that it is able to receive God's radiance and can taste eternal bliss in the sight of God....

L’opera di trasformazione dell’anima - La contemplazione di Dio

Gli uomini si devono rendere conto quanto poco considerano la formazione delle loro anime e quanto poco sono perciò in grado di ricevere le Correnti spirituali e lasciarle agire su di loro. Ed è la conseguenza del fatto che il cammino della loro vita terrena non procura nessun progresso spirituale e rispetto a questo sarà la Vita dopo la morte, cioè l’anima come essere imperfetto non può né sentire la Vicinanza di Dio né la Sua Irradiazione d’Amore e con ciò la Vita nell’aldilà è senza gioia, che significa uno stato tormentoso, perché la Vicinanza di Dio fa scaturire la sensazione di felicità che è il simbolo dell’eterna Beatitudine. Questo dover rinunciare è tormentoso, perché significa assenza di Forza ed una Vita senza Forza è una vita nell’inattività e non può veramente essere chiamata Vita. E non esiste nessun altro mezzo per giungere alla contemplazione di Dio e quindi non è nemmeno un apporto di Forza da Dio per ciò che l’anima deve recuperare nell’aldilà che ha mancato di fare sulla Terra, di formarsi nell’amore e con ciò in tutte le virtù che ha lasciato inosservate sulla Terra. Solo un’anima perfetta più arrivare alla contemplazione di Dio e perciò dapprima devono essere deposti tutti gli errori e debolezze, l’anima deve cambiare, si deve formare per diventare simile a Dio, perché la contemplazione di Dio richiede l’unificazione con Lui. Sulla Terra quest’opera di trasformazione dell’anima è facile, perché l’uomo può tutto ciò che vuole grazie alla forza vitale che gli giunge continuamente; e gli uomini non l’utilizzano per la trasformazione delle loro anime, ma soltanto per l’attività terrena che è inutile per la Vita nell’aldilà, se non consiste nell’agire d’amore. Solo l’attività che è contemporaneamente un servire nell’amore procura all’anima la trasformazione e quest’attività servente nell’amore viene eseguita quasi sempre soltanto quando il prossimo si trova in miseria. Ma gli uomini non badano più alle piccole miserie dei prossimi e questo induce Dio a mandare una miseria generale sull’umanità per aiutarla a risvegliare o fortificare il moto, perché solo l’attivo amore per il prossimo forma l’anima umana in modo che abbia un felice stato nell’aldilà, che sia in grado di accogliere l’Irradiazione di Dio e possa gustare l’eterna Beatitudine nella contemplazione di Dio.
