Reshaping the soul.... view of God....

People have to realize how little they consider the shaping of their souls and how little they are therefore able to accept spiritual currents and let them have an effect on them. And the consequence of this is that their earthly life does not bring them any spiritual progress and that life after death is corresponding, i.e. that the soul, as an imperfect being, can neither feel God's closeness nor His emanation of love and thus life in the beyond is joyless, which is tantamount to an agonizing state, because only God's closeness triggers the feeling of happiness, which is the epitome of eternal bliss.... This deprivation is agonizing because it is synonymous with powerlessness and a life of powerlessness is a life of inactivity and cannot really be called life. And there is no other means to come to the contemplation of God and therefore also to the supply of strength from God than that the soul must make up in the beyond for what it neglected to do on earth.... to mould itself into love and thus into all the virtues it neglected on earth. Only a perfect soul can attain the vision of God, and therefore all faults and weaknesses must first be discarded, the soul must change, it must mould itself such that it becomes like God, because the vision of God requires union with God. On earth this work of reshaping the soul is an easy one because the human being can do anything he wants due to the constant flow of life energy towards him; and people do not use this for the transformation of their souls but only for earthly activity which is useless for the life in the beyond if it does not consist of loving activity. Only the activity, which is at the same time a serving in love, contributes to the reshaping of the soul, and this serving love activity is mostly only then carried out when the fellow human being is in need. But people no longer pay attention to the small needs of their fellow human being, and this causes God to send a general need over humanity in order to help, awaken or strengthen the impulse in them. For only active neighbourly love shapes the human soul in such a way that its state in the beyond is a happy one, that it is able to receive God's radiance and can taste eternal bliss in the sight of God....

Obra de transformación del alma... Contemplación de Dios...

Los hombres deben darse cuenta de cuán poco consideran la formación de sus almas y cuán pocos son, por lo tanto, capaces de aceptar las corrientes espirituales y dejar que las afecten. Y la consecuencia de esto es que su andar terrenal no les trae ningún progreso espiritual, y la vida después de la muerte corresponde a esto, es decir, que el alma como ser imperfecto no puede sentir la cercanía de Dios, ni de Su irradiación de amor y así la vida en el más allá es sin alegría, lo que equivale a un estado de agonía, porque sólo la cercanía de Dios desencadena el sentimiento de felicidad, que es el epítome de la felicidad eterna...

Y este tener que prescindir es doloroso, porque es sinónimo de impotencia y una vida sin poder es una vida en la inactividad y no puede realmente llamarse vida. Y no hay otro camino a la contemplación de Dios y por lo tanto también a la fuente de poder de Dios, que el alma tiene que recuperar en el más allá lo que desaprovechó en la tierra... formarse al amor y así a todas las virtudes, que los dejó desapercibidos en la tierra. Solo un alma perfecta puede alcanzar la contemplación de Dios, y por lo tanto todos los errores y debilidades primero deben ser descartados, el alma debe cambiarse, tiene que formarse de tal manera que se vuelva como Dios, porque la contemplación de Dios requiere la unión con Dios...

Esta obra de transformación del alma es fácil en la tierra, porque el ser humano puede hacer todo lo que quiere gracias a la fuerza vital que le llega; y los hombres no la aprovechan para la transformación de sus almas, sino sólo para la actividad terrenal, que es inútil para la vida en el más allá si no consiste en una obra de amor. Solo la actividad, que es al mismo tiempo un servicio en el amor, contribuye a la transformación del alma, y esta actividad amorosa de servicio sólo se suele realizar cuando el prójimo se encuentra en una necesidad.

Pero los hombres ya no prestan atención a las pequeñas necesidades de sus semejantes, y eso hace que Dios manda una necesidad general sobre la humanidad para ayudar, despertar o fortalecer el impulso en ella. Porque sólo el amor activo al prójimo forma el alma humana de tal manera que su estado en el más allá sea feliz, para que sea capaz de poder recibir la irradiación de Dios y que pueda gustar la bienaventuranza eterna en la contemplación de Dios...
