Working of the spirit - world Knowledge.... recognizing the deity....

The greatest worldly knowledge must pale in comparison to the knowledge the human being has received through the working of the spirit; and again, the worldly knowledge must also correspond to this knowledge if it is born from a believing, God-affirming and God-aspiring heart whose life is an activity of unselfish neighbourly love. Consequently, these people will also always move in truth when they think about spiritual problems, for they do not answer their questions by virtue of their intellect but their thoughts arise from the heart and will therefore always be truth because the spirit of God instructs them. If the knowledge is gained in a different way, i.e., if it has also been gained through thinking but with a worldly sense, without recognizing a divine being Which is closely related to the human being and consequently also without requesting the strength of a divine being, then it will hardly correspond to the truth, for a person with such an attitude is rarely capable of love and active in love. As soon as he is lovingly active, however, he is already close to recognizing the eternal deity, and then a small impulse, a right instruction, is enough to move this person to right thinking. The rejection of an essential deity need not always be a denial of the deity, for by recognizing the deity as a force of nature this deity is also affirmed; however, it is difficult to bring the force of nature into closer connection with the human being's work of creation, Which guides and directs each individual's destiny.... And therefore it is not possible as a human being to establish contact with a deity for Whom the concept of an entity is ruled out. Without establishing this contact, however, the flow of power from God cannot be channelled to the human being, which determines his spiritual development.... It cannot become light in him.... Only the life force necessary for the preservation of life comes to him, which also includes the function of the brain, the purely intellectual thinking. But this alone will never be able to produce truthful results in purely spiritual problems. The eternal deity reserves the solution to these problems for Itself and offers it to those who establish contact with It in all faith, who therefore entrust themselves to this deity as feeling inseparably connected, because they recognize themselves as being in constant dependence despite their free will and now, as a result of their realization, call upon God as an entity and desire the truth. Thought activity without a heartfelt appeal for God's help can never result in pure truth. But where there is love, this realization is no longer far.... however, anyone who lacks love is far removed from the truth. For the working of the divine spirit is switched off there, and without God no truth can be brought about....

Wirken des Geistes - Weltwissen.... Erkennen der Gottheit....

Das größte Weltwissen muß verblassen gegen das Wissen, das der Mensch durch das Wirken des Geistes empfangen hat; und wiederum muß auch das Weltwissen mit diesem Wissen übereinstimmen, so es aus einem gläubigen, Gott-bejahenden und Gott anstrebenden Herzen geboren ist, dessen Leben ein Wirken in uneigennütziger Nächstenliebe ist. Folglich werden sich auch diese Menschen stets in der Wahrheit bewegen, so sie über geistige Probleme nachdenken, denn nicht kraft ihres Verstandes geben sie sich Antwort auf ihre Fragen, sondern die Gedanken steigen vom Herzen empor und werden somit stets Wahrheit sein, weil der Geist Gottes sie belehrt. Wird das Wissen anders gewonnen, d.h., ist es zwar auch durch Nachdenken gezeitigt worden, jedoch mit weltlichem Sinn, ohne Anerkennung eines Gottwesens, Das mit dem Menschen im engsten Zusammenhang steht, und folglich auch ohne Anfordern der Kraft eines Gottwesens, dann wird es schwerlich der Wahrheit entsprechen, denn selten ist ein Mensch, der eine solche Einstellung hat, liebefähig und liebetätig. Sowie er aber sich liebend betätigt, ist er schon dem Erkennen der ewigen Gottheit nahe, und es genügt dann ein kleiner Anstoß, eine rechte Belehrung, um diesen Menschen zum rechten Denken zu bewegen. Das Ablehnen einer wesenhaften Gottheit braucht nicht immer ein Leugnen der Gottheit zu sein, denn mit dem Anerkennen der Gottheit als Naturkraft wird diese Gottheit auch bejaht; jedoch ist es schwer, die Naturkraft in engeren Zusammenhang mit dem Schöpfungswerk Mensch zu bringen, Die eines jeden einzelnen Schicksal lenkt und leitet.... Und also ist es nicht möglich, als Mensch den Kontakt herzustellen mit einer Gottheit, für Die der Begriff einer (als) Wesenheit ausscheidet. Ohne diesen Kontakt herzustellen, kann aber der Kraftstrom aus Gott dem Menschen nicht zugeleitet werden, der seine geistige Entwicklung bedingt.... Es kann in ihm nicht Licht werden.... Nur die zur Erhaltung des Lebens nötige Lebenskraft geht ihm zu, worunter auch die Funktion des Gehirnes, das rein verstandesmäßige Denken, zu verstehen ist. Dieses allein aber wird niemals wahrheitsgemäße Ergebnisse zeitigen können in rein geistigen Problemen. Die ewige Gottheit behält Sich die Lösung dieser Probleme vor und bietet sie denen, die in aller Gläubigkeit den Kontakt mit Ihr herstellen, die sich also als untrennbar verbunden fühlend dieser Gottheit anvertrauen, weil sie sich trotz ihres freien Willens in ständiger Abhängigkeit stehend erkennen und sie nun als Folge der Erkenntnis Gott als Wesenheit anrufen und die Wahrheit begehren. Die Gedankentätigkeit ohne innigen Anruf um den Beistand Gottes kann niemals reine Wahrheit zeitigen. Wo aber die Liebe ist, dort ist diese Erkenntnis nicht mehr fern.... wem jedoch die Liebe mangelt, dessen Verstandeswissen ist weit von der Wahrheit entfernt. Denn das Wirken des göttlichen Geistes ist dort ausgeschaltet, und ohne Gott kann keine Wahrheit zustande gebracht werden....
